I've been returning to this Chili's a couple of times a month. The evening cook(s) is/are very good. Thanks to the wait staff it comes to the table hot. The prices have recently went up. Just check your bill. I have noticed that there is some restaurant "voodoo" going on with what you are charged. Is it the wait staff messing up or the computer??? It appears to be a bargain until you have to pay! It's dark so is it clean? It doesn't smell (unless they try and sit you by the restrooms,like they always attempt to). Chili's has always been a family favorite. It's one of the places I try to get to whenever I'm in AZ because the closet one to me back home is in Virginia. The food is typically pretty good, but keep in mind it is a restaurant chain so it does have that chain taste if you know what I mean. The food is fresh and I've never received poor service. The one my family and I go to usually does not have a wait so we get seated fairly quickly. The restaurant is clean. If you have room after your meal I definitely recommend the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie. Sooo good! And I also recommend their fajitas. read more

It's Chili's but one of the better locations I've been to. It's either really new or recently remodeled. We have been a few times now during happy hour. Really good deals there. You can get many items for $4-$5 and cheaper drinks. My wife and I really like the skillet queso. The fried pickles were good too. They have really good chicken tenders with different sauces to pick from. My wife liked the honey one and I did there spiciest one. It had a nice kick to it. The time before we had their fajitas which are really good. The steak was cooked perfectly, and had good flavor. Had lots of vegetables and I like that it comes out on a skillet. The bartender was very attentive and we have great service. Everything here is priced very reasonably too. For a chain, it's really good location. read more

Our first time at this location. We sat in the bar and service was excellent. My husband and I had a delicious lunch of chicken fajitas. The food was hot, plentiful and chicken was moist and tender. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly. We shared the meal and they gave us extra tortillas. We will be back! read more

Discriminates against the disabled. I'm in a quadriplegic in a wheelchair. I went to Chili's with my wife for dinner. They were on a wait, but we were told we could be served in their nearly empty bar. We went around the bar to the lowered area for wheelchairs. The bartender had stacked plastic to-go bin on it. I asked if we could move it over 1 stool so we can eat(every seat empty but 2). Bartender said no it was for to-go orders. I pointed to the to-go are right next to the bar that we open and staffed with 2 people. The bartender said no, and when another bar patron said that was just crazy she went and got manager. I explained situation to manager who was VERY condescending and he said no that was their policy. I said "to take up the only handicap spots in the bar when you could slide it down 1 chair?" First time we ever ordered pickup from Chili's on Happy Valley last night. We were excited bring home the same tasty food we had tried at the Surprise location, but what a disappointment. The food was not up to the standard we had in Surprise, we order the street corn, it was soggy, waterlogged without flavor. I ordered the Southwest egg rolls, which was cold and I could see was not fresh. Look like they had been hanging around the kitchen for hours. I ordered them for the first time a couple of weeks ago in Surprise, they arrived attractively sliced on angle fresh and yummy. The mini sliders were also cold and seemed to have been shoved into the overfilled takeout box. I'm not interested in returning anytime soon. This was a prompt to dinner, now I wish I had chosen another place. Sorry Chili's you were a big disappointment. read more

By far the worst food v ever had at a restaurant. Every single dish on our table i tried was terrible. From my moms sliders to my sisters mac and cheese to my brothers smoked wings and my terrible over priced steak and shrimp. I literally wanted to throw up once i tried my brothers wings. Our waitress was not exactly personable last night but she would bring us refills every few minutes when we were not even close to being finished with our second drink. The food on a slow night beware takes at minimum 30 min for your food. Ive never seen a place so dead take so long to get our food out. I used to come here for lunch after church every Sunday with my parents, but it's become very apparent that the lenders of this chain are trying too hard to modernize the place and make it more inviting. I came here with my girlfriend recently for a quick lunch date, only to find out that not one thing about this place is like it used to be. Their famous Cajun Pasta is practically hidden in their menu, instead of advertised like it used to be. The menu is all about their, again, famous baby back ribs and burgers and fajitas. My girlfriend and I decided to try their burgers because they were advertised very nicely, as well as some cheese curds for an appetizer. The drinks were a riot. We had ordered an Arnold Palmer and a mango iced tea. The mango syrup and iced tea were extremely layer, my girlfriend had to mix at it for a good ten minutes with her straw to make the drink bearable, and as for the Arnold Palmer, it was incredibly too sweet. There's a problem when your drinks get brought over and you can visually see the difference in color where the syrup is floating in the middle of the glass. The cheese curds was mozzarella, not even actual cheese curds, they were practically just bite sized mozzarella sticks. They were extremely salty and oily. The worst part was that they were better than the burgers we got. It took over an hour of waiting for two burgers. When our burgers came, they were just appalling. The yolk on the egg from my burger was already burst and had spilt out all over the plate, there was an excessive amount of oil, so much that at some point when my girlfriend took a bite of the bun, she had to run to the bathroom to puke it out because it tasted soggy and of just oil and grease. The one thing about the burger that was good was the meat, it was a cooked perfectly, it's a shame that the presentation and lack of care for their food destroyed the patty. I recommend being extremely careful using Chili's table gadgets to pay the food bill, it was my birthday dinner last week, I had gotten a free birthday desert from Chili's on my cell phone and as a continual member I had free chips an salsa, the entire restaurant was full for dinner but in my section we noticed people were waiting overly long periods of times for anything to be brought out, it was terrible service to say the least, lots of people were asking what was taking so long they kept getting the same answer - the kitchen is backed up which probably meant the cooks were shorted help...hmmm wonder why.... After waiting very long times for our food (myself and two adults) I showed the waitress my free birthday promo on my cell phone, after waiting again a long time she comes back breathlessly asking to take my cell so the manager could verify my free desert promo was for real, it didn't come back, at that point I was really becoming concerned, then the manager pops up at our table all angry and growling to see my cell phone showing the birthday promo, I told him the waitress has it.....omg! Im so sorry and thoroughly embarrassed I chose this place it was a total nightmare. Later at the end no one was left in the place, it had cleared out we finally ordered two deserts not three because one guest had to leave he couldn't wait any longer you know people have to work the next day! It was like the last man standing kind of scenario, we couldn't even get coffee ordered up to have with desert, it was disgusting! On top of those many insults the table gadget didn't spit out the final receipt showing the tip and total, at that point we just wanted out of there. However, I believe the angry growling manager added an additional $10 tip afterwards over a generous $10 tip which was not deserved for the bad service on a $61.79 bill, we couldn't even get coffee ordered! Good thing Chili's notified me the next morning that I had spent $81.79 which was wrong and off by $10! So back again the next day and I talked with the bar mgr because the dining mage wasn't there? I showed her the email indicating a $20 tip, she was sympathetic and gave me $30 in credit to be used at Chili's however, I will not be using this particular one ever again nor use any restaurants table gadgets to pay bills in the future because they can change totals without permission. read more

We came in tonight and were immediately sat in a both which was nice. But then we proceeded to sit in that booth for 15 minutes without anyone coming to the table to even say hi or offer water. We promptly stood up and left the moment the table next to us was seated and greeted nearly immediately by the waitress. "Curbside service actually just means take-out" Review of Chili's Grill & Bar. It annoys me that Chili's calls their take-out service "curbside" because that implies to me that they bring your food out to you when in reality they don't. You have to go into the restaurant to get your order yourself. Over the past four years my wife and I have been eating at Chilli's Happy Valley in Peoria and haven't had any complaints up until two months ago. About a year ago this Chilli's used to text you letting you know that they know you are there waiting in the designated curbside parking area. The text consisted of your cars color, make and model (as you advised online during ordering). At some point they stopped sending texts. Two months ago I order curbside, which never came out to my car. After 15mins I went inside to see my food sitting on the counter getting cold. At home we sat down to eat the food, everything was a sloppy mess. I wrote to Chilli's explaining my complaint. Chilli's sent me free guest cards to compensate me and assured me that they would address the problems with the manager. Stupidly we ordered curbside again tonight 3/15/19 thinking they fixed the issues. Guess what , my food never came out! I had to go inside and ask the bartender for my order which wasn't ready. I asked to speak with the manager whom apologized, stating that he understood my position. I told him I had been sitting in my car curbside waiting for my food. He said we didn't see your car and you are supposed to text us letting us know you arrive. This is news to me when did that change, where's the instructions and number to call? Food was fast and hot. We sat ourselves in the bar area at an open booth to watch baseball rather than be seated in the beautifully lit dining area. Our server, Chris G , served with a smile and was super kind. He was busy as it's happy hour but he did manage to check in us once. Normally once bothers me but we are fast and so it didn't bother me at all! Chris was very helpful when the electric self serve cash out thing didn't work. It's better customer service and a better reason to leave a tip in my opinion. Had a wonderful time and we enjoyed seeing the game! Horrible! What is up with their meat choices? I love fajitas; for some reason I keep ordering their fajitas even though the meat is chewy and hard to chew. The flavor is good, but someone is going to choke on there steak. You will lose a ton of calories just trying to chew the steak. Don't get the chicken either. It's not good! After trying the fajitas on four-five separate occasions and each time the meat was crazy bad!! I know, I should have learned my lesson the first time. I guess I kept hoping for an improvement. Back in 1998-2001, their fajitas were awesome. I will not be eating there again; I give up! Read up, and you will see that others describe the meat as horrible too. We went here for dinner on a Friday night (crazy). The food was alright. Most of our meals were cold when we got the orders. I think because we were a big party, maybe some of word food was done before others and it was probably sitting out, maybe? The server was overwhelmed with the number of guest she was serving and I understood. I would have like to see better customer service skills. Such as, thank you for waiting, thank you for being patient and so on. When the food was brought out, that was a hot mess.
