Ordered carryout last night, since we were at the hospital across the street with my grandma. We ordered a couple orders of the Southwest Egg Rolls and the Santa Fe Chicken Salad. The girl who took our order was very friendly and thorough. The food was ready when they said it would be. The manager also had the egg rolls cut for us, like they are served in the restaurant, even though they are served whole when togo. This Chili's has become awful over the years. Today we had a waiter who was not good but worse than that was astonishingly rude!! The kids' meals never came out and when we asked he said he'd put a rush on it. The adults were finished eating by the time their food came. We are finished here. I have gone to Chili's for the last time. Most are in poor condition. My husband and I commented on this before our meal. I have been a member of there club but never carry the card or number. We ordered chips and salsa, free to members. I was charged and told to bring up my info to get them free. Obviously didn't believe I was a member paying with gift cards that balances are less then the given amount. Our waitress should have offered to look it up rather than have me try to remember or produce my info. Food was good but service ruined our experience. read more

I really want to give Chili's 2 stars, but I'm not going to do that. They didn't do anything wrong aside from being a part of a chain. That said, I hate Chili's. But we went because my child wanted to partake in a "Major Saver" deal - those punchcard coupon thingies that kids sell for their schools. 1. It ended up not being a deal at all 2. The thought that I spent $35 at Chili's makes me want to vomit 3. Even so, my son enjoyed his 12oz ribeye "w/ carne asada rub", medium-rare, and I also thought it was well-flavored 4. This was the worst service. 13 minutes to order drinks, 18 after drink order to get drinks and then were able to order food, asked for app plates twice and got them after we received our meal. Food order was incorrect. Took 12 minutes to get 1 soda refill, gave up trying to get my husband a 2nd beer, 2nd round of margaritas we waited a long time, cheesecake was frozen, asked for our bill and then gave up went to pay on the machine. 1 couple paid with card, server finally came with split check and never hand me our check so I could pay cash. This was one of my worst restaurant visits that I've ever had. It started from my greeting at the door by the hostess. She had to ask me to have a seat while she cleaned my table off. Then it took 15 minutes for someone to come to my table to take my drink order. Then another 7 minutes for my drinks to come out. I wanted to order an item from the happy hour menu but because it took so long to come back over to my table to take my order Happy Hour was over by 15 minutes. Then my server walked away and didn't come back for another 18 minutes. By this time I asked to be cashed out. As I'm sitting and waiting for my check to appear on the kiosk I was informed that he forgot to send it. So needless to say I spent 45 minutes of my life waiting for service read more

This restaurant needs to be closed down. I have been to that location several times and have always been mad when I left. They are always working with a ghost crew, never anyone up front to seat you so they leave you standing there for a long time. Waiters suck, you are lucky to get refills or napkins or anything you need because they just disappear. You might or might not get good food, very inconsistent results with the cooks. The restaurant is always sticky and dirty. I really don't want another 20 minute drive to get to the next location so I think I will just never go to chilis again. Management is failing terribly there. read more

Chili's was wonderful. Ice cold beer. I ordered my burger cooked medium and they didn't over cook it and even had me check the temperature to ensure it was cooked properly. I hate when my french fries are cold, but these fries were very hot and delicious! The server left me alone if it was obvious I didn't need anything else, also a huge plus. In an area with very few restaurant options, I was pleased to find this Chili's does an excellent job on their original buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was prepared well and tasted like their old school style; and the fries were some of the best I've had in a while. I also ordered an Appletini and it was fair; not quite the real thing, but still good. The wait staff was also very friendly and provided good service. Really glad the sandwich was so good; I went in looking forward to that dish and I was not disappointed. read more

Ernest Walker, a Black U.S. Army veteran, was denied a meal at Chili's on Veterans Day. Chili's, like many restaurants around the country, offers free meals to vets on Veteran's Day, but at this particular Chili's restaurant in Cedar Hill, Texas, the manager decided not to serve the American serviceman. Since the incident, Chili's has removed the manager and released the following statement: "We personally apologized to Mr. Walker for the unfortunate experience in our restaurant on Veterans Day and thanked him for his service to our country. We also thanked him for taking the time to speak with us and he appreciated our apology." Now, Walker says things have gotten worse for his family. The Army vet has received multiple death threats, unsolicited mail, and had to move out of his house to ensure his family's safety. I WILL BE BOYCOTTING THEM FROM NOW ON!!!! 12.26.16. Ordered online. 45 min lead time. We showed up 30 min later and they said they didn't have the order. I showed them the email order confirmation and amazingly they "found" my order and said it would be 45 more min. Now been waiting 50 min and they won't even come to the desk and wait on me. Rude, slow, unorganized, poorly managed, kitchen area looks like a tornado went thru it and their customer service SUCKS. Not even an I'm sorry about the mix up or your wait. Chili's is Chili's. A national chain serving casual dining fare with a texmex flair. I've never gotten a bad meal here. Usually get burgers but chicken strips are great also. Did you know you could request different kinds of batter? I have always liked their ribs. I know that's a bad word in KC but their ribs are reliable good. Although I get a little confused over the six different kind of sauces available. I'm loving the current promotion of an appetizer and two entres for $20. read more

Not impressed. System was down when we arrived, which isnt the waistress' fault. But they were absolutely terrible at communicating the issue to the guests, who now could not pay. Our waistress' was nice but very unprofessional, came to us in tears and we had to calm HER down. Went to Chili's during lunch hour, was seated right away but our concern was our waiter David. I am going to be brutally honest we all assumed his personal hygiene was extremely poor. He needed to wipe his nose because unfortunately he had a large booger that was clear in our view. He seemed extremely confused of what we were ordering for lunch he needed us to repeat ourselves multiple times and it was off the lunch menu, plus mistakes were made when the food arrived. This particular Chili's always has quick service and low wait times even on Friday night. The staff is always friendly and the store is clean. This is one of the better Chili's we have around. The food is just like every other Chili's. I will say if you've never had the Salmon... try it. It's delicious! Always tender and tasty. This place is awful. Waited for quite a while for a table when there were several open tables. My server looks like he hasn't showered or brushed his hair in a week. Waited 20 minutes for an appetizer then another 20 for our food and we ordered it at the same time. The "sirloin" was super thin. I ordered it medium and it came out well done. The server didn't even ask if it was cooked properly. Not even worth the time to get it fixed. I might come back for my one favorite dish but I'll never stray from that again. read more

Food was fine, when we finally got it and had utensils to eat. Service was not good! Hostess ignored a line of people at the door. She had about 5 parties waiting in the doorway for for at least 5 minutes without saying a word to any of us. She made a point to avoid eye contact with everyone. When we were seated, waiter was very nice. Food came out, and we had no knives for steaks, and we're missing food. We had finished our sides and I had to get up and go to the back to get the waiter's attention, so we could get knives to eat our main course. The rest of the meal came out with the knives. Never get to-go from this Chilis. My husband and I have eaten inside many times and have had no issues. Tonight we decided to carry out and the food was very disappointing. My husband got a boneless buffalo chicken salad that was half the size of the restaurant size. He also added bacon, onions, tomatoes and got none of the above. I ordered chicken bacon ranch quesadillas that came with no lettuce and the chicken was so over cooked it was hard. Apparently this chilis feels like there's no accountability with their food when it's sent out on carry-out. Chilis is one of our favorite restaurants, but we are highly disappointed. read more

The hostess kept calling names that weren't there, took our phone number even though we were the only ones waiting. They were wonderful! Walked in with a to go order for 6 people. Everything was ready in a little over 5 minutes. The food was delicious! All of this at peak lunch hour on the day of the Royal's Parade. They were busy and down 2 of their own team. Good for them!! There are so many food options, so you know that you will find something you will love. I typically order something different every time and am always blown away by how good it is. First off i must say this chilis has gone down hill from what it used to be. Now even in the slower times of day your food takes forever to come out and is almost always cold or wrong. My husband and i had it when we ordered chicken citters with fries and we waited over 30 min for our food (this was at about 2pm when they were slow) and then it came out and our chicken was caked with gresse and was not warm in the middle and our fries were the same gloppy mess. never agian! read more

cold beer and salty margaritas....smokin fajitas and spicy jalapenos...just a little bit of heaven at chili's. get out to chili's and try everything on the menu (not all at once). food is fresh and drinks are cold and hit the spot after a long day at the office or cleaning up the yard....awesome atmosphere, exceptional staff-extremely courteous and they made all of my visits enjoyable. gotta go..time to run to chilis for some fire roasted corn guac!!! read more
