I haven't been to a Chili's in FOREVER, but I got sucked in by all the recent marketing touting a cheaper and better experience compared to the fast food joints (which have gotten out of control on pricing). I'll start with the bad which was only one thing. We started with the skillet beef queso and I don't know what that was, but it was so weird. I've eaten plenty of questionable cheeses in my life, but this is where I draw the line. Okay, now the good stuff... I love that they still do free chips and salsa as a started. I ordered the Big Crispy Chicken Sandwich and I have to say it was excellent... plus it was huge. I think I ordered wrong to get the special price deal, but the way I got it came with fries and I got mac and cheese. The service was great, the meal was solid, and the price was right. I went here for lunch with family. It was convenient and good for kids. My salad was good and a big portion for lunch. The table was pretty sticky but otherwise the restaurant seemed clean. This is good in a pinch but with countless of restaurants in the Charleston area I'd prefer to eat elsewhere. read more

Boyfriend and I wanted to try Chili's for the first time together and we did it. Got the triple dipper with the eggrolls, mozz sticks, and sliders and an order of crispers. Not bad but not fantastic. The best item was def the fried mozz - it had a CRAZY cheese pull. The crisper were good but really wet when you bit, not just juicy but wet which was off putting. The eggrolls had decent flavor but didn't seem to be fully cooked on some sides and sliders were meh. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Wouldn't come back but fun to try out!! read more

First off the restaurant smelled very sour smelled like puke and bleach at the bar bathrooms were nasty there was poop in the toilet and toilet paper looked like it needed to be plunged doors coming off hinges and bathroom the tables at the dining with grease and sticky I stuck to the table the food came out I ordered a quesadilla chicken quesadilla tasted like the chicken was bad my father ordered a brisket quesadilla too much barbecue sauce slopped on it the waitress acted like she was tired and needed a nap and didn't want to be there you can smell the sour throughout the whole restaurant spoke to another customer in the bathroom when I was using it she felt the same way I did said that she ordered chicken tenders for her mom did and that they were soggy not crispy and soaked in Grease can only imagine terrible experience will never go back read more

This is located very close to the airport, and tons of shopping. We were seated as soon as we walked in for a late lunch. The food came quickly, as did refills. The staff worked as a team and no less than 3 people assisted me. The host was friendly and inviting and southern. We love chilis everywhere we go but this experience was too notch! I feel like I have relatively low expectations for chain restaurants but tonight was especially brutal. My kids wanted to come because their teenage cousin introduced them to Chilis about a month ago and I do love their chips and salsa so off we went. We walked in the door and the hostess announced to my kids that they were out of the kids packs (which if she didn't say they probably wouldn't notice). The service tonight was especially slow, even for apps and drinks. Our dirty plates from apps stayed on the table the whole time. We got chips and 3 (salsa, queso and guac). My 5 year old likes the queso and he hates spice. It's very bland but perfect for a kid who doesn't like spice. I enjoy the salsa. The guac is just okay. I got a burger and fries. Gave the kids the fries and they shared a Mac n cheese kids meal because they won't even finish that. I do appreciate that they offer chocolate milk with the kids meals. The fries tastes a bit freezer burnt and the burger was meh. And the server at the tables next to us apologized in a big dramatic way to the table like 15 times even after the customers said it was fine, it wasn't her fault, yadda yadda. I'd give 0 stars if it was an option. I've been coming to chilis for 30 years. I've notice the prices keep going up over the years the 3 for $10 has become 3 for $18 for some of the items . Then the waitress tells me if I want ranch on top of buffalo sauce I'll be charged extra. The manager comes over to confirm this fact that they're going to charge for sauce . It's a family friendly environment. We went to celebrate galentines. The staff made up for the lack of tasty food. I got the triple dipper. The chicken was crispy, south western egg rolls were good, but the honey chipotle was not crispy at all and fries were cold. The server was able to get new fries, which was a plus. Well over the years Chili's has kind of gone down in service and in food portions but this visit was pretty decent. On arrival we were sat pretty quickly and our waitress started off pretty attentive. Throughout the visit though she became more scarce to find and the number of times I looked around to see if she had any other tables with it appearing that we were the only one didn't give me a good feeling about her disappearance. I will say the food was good and we did snag a couple other servers to assist us with refills for drinks as well as those chips and salsa. When it came time to pay the bill I had to get up and go find her so that I could speak to her about some discrepancies. This was a pleasant experience. We were hungry and tired so we found a place close to our room. The restaurant is a standard family/ bar atmosphere. I'm guessing if it's alot of people it could get pretty loud. When we entered, the staff was in the kitchen door in group having their own conversation. They looked at us and continued their conversation. Took the host a moment for the host to arrive to sit us. Our waitress was standard, she didn't make an impression. We ordered and our food came out hot. The waitress did take a moment to get items we asked for, she would disappear. this is the worst chilis i ever been to. my food was incorrect every time i gave it back for them to fix. three times by the way. when i got home it was still wrong so i called and the white lady manager with the accent kept acting like she could not understand me then rudely after mumbling something disrespectful hung up in my face after i politely explained that my order was wrong againnn. mind you the same lady is who gave me and so called corrected my order the first three times. when i went back to the store i got a refund after explaining to travis. their employees are not held accountable for wrong doings. the entire kitchen and shift management needs to be replaced. only go here if you wanna drink because the kitchen and shift managers will fuck you completely over!!!!! never going back again, this place is a pregnant womans worst nightmare. read more

About my third time visiting this Chili's location, and yet again had another good experience. Took the wifey for her b-day. Service was good and staff friendly. Food was fairly quick and tasty. Plenty of free parking and no problem getting a table. They tend to keep the lights dimmed a little at night for a more intimate feel (Bring your reading glasses if you're small print impaired like me; it's even harder in the dark). We both got burgers and fries, and we definitely enjoyed them. Their potato soup was delicious; although they did forget the green onions on top (Why do restaurants/servers insist on trying to remember every detail of your order? Write it down!). The house margarita is also pretty tasty I must say. Overall another really good experience at this Chili's. Will definitely visit again. read more

I've been here twice recently and you just can't beat their 3 for Me deal. I get a drink, house side salad and an Old Timer burger with cheese for $10.99. I'm also a Chili's Rewards member so I get free chips and salsa too for an appetizer. Both visits we have had great servers and the hostess has been helpful too by getting drink orders going. Food has come out quickly and piping hot. We will definitely be back since this a good half way point to meet up with family. read more

I suppose this location is hit and miss. Typically when I visit here, the experience is just so-so, leaning more towards negative. I stopped by last night and I immediately got a different, positive vibe. I was seated quickly, got my drink order and meal quickly. Hot, well prepared, it was really quite good. The servers were on their toes, hustling about, no nonsense. I asked two servers if there had been a change in management. It was a really good meal, a good experience. The whole time she had a tone along with a bunch of sarcasm while I was trying to order my drink with food. Everything came out hot and the chicken was not only tastey but juicy. It is really easy to mess chicken up. Now why 5 stars? The service. The staff here is among the best we have seen around. I was attending a conference in the area and had an hour for lunch. When we arrived it took a few minutes for the server to seat us. The server came to the table a few minutes later. It was not very busy but they didn't appear to have very many staff working. Most of us ordered the lunch special, which comes with a salad. We go to this Chilis every Friday as my hubby flies in at nearby airport. The food is usually very good and no wait. The last few weeks it has been very crowded which is fine we wait. The food has changed. It was terrible when we went this last week. Me and my husband got pasta which had no sauce on it so we had to ask for sauce. The waiter brought me sauce but pasta was too dried up. Hubby's bread was burnt and my granddaughter found a long hair in her macaroni and cheese. If they are going to be so busy that the food is lacking I guess we will find a new Friday spot. read more
