The reviews on this place make me wonder why so low? I stopped in to eat by myself while in town for work and had such an awesome experience with the food and service. I always try to aim for medium rare with my steak but rarely does it ever come out perfect like you'd want. Today it changed at this location. The guy who prepared this steak and meal needs a raise! Lol. Honestly, it was hands down the best steak I've ever had at a restaurant and traveling for work, I've ate at so many places. It was not bland at all! It was juicy and packed full of flavor. We don't typically eat at Chili's but went with some friends. We ordered about 5 different dishes and every single dish was wrong. Had some kind of bones (probably from pork ribs) in our bean and cheese only nachos. They refunded us part of our bill and apologized but made more excuses than necessary. We were really impressed by our entire experience at this Chili's. We came in for dinner on a Saturday evening around 5:15. We had to wait about 15 minutes. We were seated right away and our server came right over and took our order. We were ready to order everything. Within 2 minutes our drinks were brought out by a food runner. Our salads came out immediately afterwards. Our server checked on us often. We split the Ancho Salmon with broccoli and Mexican rice. They split it in the kitchen. I gotta say that we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the entire meal but the broccoli really blew us away. We thought it would need salt and it also looked like it was still raw. Our first visit was stellar, this visit was a nightmare. My husband ordered the brisket burger specifically because it has no lettuce on it and he's *severely* allergic to lettuce. Regardless of the fact it has no lettuce on it we told the server of his allergy to ensure there would be no cross contaminating and that she can alert the kitchen. We also ordered extra crispy fries. I ordered a triple dipper with v Nashville hot crispers, big mouth bites and egg rolls. When the order came out his fries were visibly under cooked. Nowhere near the dark color extra crispy leads to. He picked up his burger to bite in and multiple pieces of shredded lettuce fell off the bun onto his hand the the plate. They had run his bun over shredded lettuce. They surely didn't clean off the area at all before preparing his food. If he'd have eaten just one piece he'd be violently ill. He immediately pushed away his plate. My egg rolls were not hot and the Nashville sauce was poured so thick all over my plate my big mouth bites were saturated in it. I couldn't even pick them up. The buns were completely wet with hot sauce on every square inch. We gave up and asked for a manager and let them know we were leaving. They apologized but it didn't feel super genuine and the server was seemingly upset we went to the manager over this. You MUST put more care into food prep when people tell you they have severe allergies. Cleaning off where you're prepping a sandwich takes 2 seconds. Do the right thing! read more

We visited this restaurant this evening. I ordered the Veggie burger not realizing that it would be a bit spicy. Our server/bartender noticed I wasn't eating it and asked. I NEVER send food back. She was insistent that she could get it made without the spice for me. Then another sweet employee came over to ask how our meal was. I explained that I didn't realize it was a spicy sandwich upon ordering. She quickly had another made without the spicy sauce for me. We usually eat at home. So going to a restaurant is rare for us. We arrived mid day Sunday. The restaurant was pretty busy, but not overly crowded. It did take a couple of minutes to seat us. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. The food was delicious. My husband & I got the 2 for $25 deal. We started with the half order if TX cheese fries which was plenty for the both of us. I had the Margarita grilled chicken.....Sooo good!! The chicken was perfectly grilled. A little heavy on the black beans, so next time I'll request less beans. My husband had the classic sirloin with broccoli & loaded mashed potatoes. I tried his steak & it was so good. Perfectly cooked to a medium well. We finished off dessert with a piece of cheesecake. It was so smooth & creamy. So so good. It was my wife's birthday and I told the waitress but they did not do the song that I heard them do for someone else while we were there. This was not them but added to awful experience, the people behind us did not control their kid. It kept hitting my wife with its hair and jumping and screaming the whole time. The parents did nothing even after comments. Some of the food was good but some was not. The manager did take off the price of the 2 meals but tried to take off less than they offered to. My little brother was like - yes! The waiter mentioned you will even get a free scoop of icecream. As you can tell in the copy of my receipt I was charged extra for 3 things!!! 1. Kids size molten cake (should have been $2.49 vs. $5.99) 2. Birthday Scoop (should have been FREE vs. $1.49) 3. Table Entertainment (Seriously?! We have been going to Chili's for over 25 years. Our first date was at a Chillies so to say we've seen some changes over the years is correct. The waitress tonight was terrible and almost boarder line raciest. We would call her over and she would roll her eyes. She would say something and do the opposite. Hair in our food, wrongly prepared food, and very slow. It almost appeared she did it on purpose. Help today getting harder to find. What happened to customer service? This woman was rude and it's costing this restaurant money. The manager was called out and we explained everything and he made it better. I always feel bad for not leaving a tip so I left her five dollars. I'm sure she is stressed and working hard to support her self but you make more money when your customer service is better. Chilis is one of our favorite places to eat. I used the Chilis app to add our name to the waitlist. I went in and told the hostess we had arrived, like the app said to do. She didn't even ask my name, just dismissed my words and said they were at max capacity. I wasn't expecting to get seated right away, but at least acknowledge that I had put my name on the wait list. We then were told it would be 20 minutes before a table was ready. We were sat in less than five. Very rude and unprofessional for absolutely no reason. This Chili's is ALWAYS understaffed while other restaurants nearby don't seem to have staff issues. Three different employees have complained to us about servers, cooks and dishwashers not showing up. It seems to be a management or incentive issue. We kept hoping that would improve and with more staff the cleanliness would improve also but now they've changed the menu. Ribs (something they're known for) are outrageous. They've taken off the 2 for $25 all together. They even charged us for a refill on our chips & salsa! We both ordered burgers and they were so over cooked and dry. BTW, they're pushing burgers on the menu now. The side salad was half the size it was just 1 month ago. Who doesn't love Chili's?! When you have a bunch all over town though you don't really think about them. But when we moved to this area we definitely noticed its absence. So, we decided to go opening day. The wait was less than 10 minutes around 5pm. We ordered chips and salsa with guacamole. Something we always get. It was great as usual. Our server was very attentive. Our drinks were never empty and they kept refilling our chips. I loved seeing that they added a new veg friendly dish, the veggie fajitas. It comes with a black bean patty which is currently vegetarian but not vegan friendly. However, the veggie burger brand, Morningstar Farms, is in the process of making all their products vegan. But until then you can just order it without the patty (substitute mushrooms). It comes with cheese and sour cream as well. So, we just got extra pico and used the extra guacamole from our app. It was so delicious and very filling! I love that you can access your rewards and pay your bill on the tabletop device. Very convenient! I do wish their online ToGo ordering system was up and running (currently have to call). But overall, I'm so happy they are here! read more

I called ahead to get our name on the list:..when we arrived the app said we had 5 parties ahead of us and it slowly ticked down to two parties ahead...after waiting 45 minutes I asked about a wait time and was told it wouldn't be much longer...15 minutes later they proceeded to take a party (the same size as ours and arrived later than us) ahead of us and told me that I failed to check in when I arrived...it would be another 45 minutes...after having already waited over an hour and having already asked a hostess about wait times....so the moral to this story...call ahead doesn't give you any advantage and the service stinks! read more
