If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Mi Casa Grill and Cantina is hands-down one of the BEST Mexican restaurants I've ever been to (and I call myself a Mexican food connoisseur). The wait staff were some of the friendliest I've encountered in a long time. Even though they were busy, they checked on us several times and made sure everything was perfect. Our manager, Axel, even came over personally to chat, explain how their margaritas are made (fresh mixers in-house peach, strawberry, mango... yes, please!), and make sure our meals were spot on. Now let's talk FOOD: I had the chicken fajitas...perfectly grilled, picture perfect, and tasted even better than it looked. My husband had the carnitas ...he ate so much he could barely make it to the truck afterward. My son devoured his beef burrito so fast I almost didn't get a picture. My friend had a taco and a strawberry margarita. She said the drink was perfection with just the right amount of kick. And last but NOT least... the QUESO DIP. OMG. This is the best queso I've EVER had in my life. It's made fresh daily, and you can absolutely tell. We ordered the large and ate every bit. Honestly, I could make a whole meal out of just queso and chips. I left impressed not only with the food but with how much time the staff and Axel spent making sure we felt welcome and understood the menu. That kind of hospitality is rare these days. HIGHLY recommend Mi Casa Grill and Cantina. Top 3 Mexican restaurants of all time for me. Do yourself a favor! GO GET YOU SOME OF THAT QUESO and a MARGARITA!

Second visit, and they just changed the menu for fall today. Same atmosphere as before, wooden…read morefloors overlooking woods. My drink was the "Dylan" again and just as good as I remembered from last time. Started with meatballs and scallops. Meatballs sauce was good, wish meatballs had pine nuts but thats just my personal taste. Scallops were 2 bay scallops in a larger scallops shell, nice presentation and tasty but hard to get any of the sauce out with the scallops from those shells...but maybe i was supposed to pick up the shells and slide them into my mouth? Both filet and ribeye cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We were too full for dessert.

Bad assumption! We almost had to sit at the bar (which would have been OK, but we kind of wanted more privacy) but the hostess found us a high-top table. We had to drive up a big hill to get to the restaurant, so I assume the view outside is super nice, but we sat indoors to get away from the heat :) In general, our server did an OK job, but I do think she could have checked on us a little more, and the service felt quite slow. Our meal started with some complimentary spoonbread (which was pretty tasty!) and a Dylan cocktail for me, which took forever to come out. The Dylan was not really my cup of tea, it turns out - I guess I'm just a beer drinker at heart :) My wife got the Caesar salad for an appetizer and then we split the Beef Wellington for a shared entree. I sampled my wife's Caesar and it was very tasty! The Beef Wellington also took a long time to come out, but the wait was worth it, as it was very good! The beef was cooked medium rare as expected and the pastry was tasty. For our side, we chose broccolini and it was seasoned well. Despite the service hiccups, we had a good experience here. I would definitely consider coming back, and I'd recommend the Greenbrier to others.

The loaded tots with cheese, bacon, chives and hot sauce was not too spicy and was big enough to share with four people. The 9 to 5 espresso martini made with Ole Smoky Salted Caramel Whiskey was very strong. We originally sat a table close to the bowling lanes but moved to the bar to try to get away from the noisy bowling alley. The prices for the food and drinks were pretty reasonable.
