First off. They update their times to reflect the time they actually close. Which if you were wondering is 8pm. I'm not sure what is in the water here In Morgan hill but every seems to be really sleepy and like to go to bed early. I was met by the host at the front saying that I couldn't dine in their establishment or even order to go, due to the cooks being over whelmed and them closing at 8pm. It was 7pm when I showed up, so I was surprised. It wasn't the hosts fault. So I didn't give much scuff and walked out. I had gone here the other night with a few coworkers to grab a beer and watch the game and it seemed as if the sever was upset the entire time. We had a lovely experience at this Chili's. We have stopped going to a local one because it awful but were returning home from a road trip and decided to try it. The service was AMAZING, Casey was helping and made sure our drink were never empty. The mango tea was very sweet and refreshing. Chip & salsa and chicken tortillas soup were delicious. Ate here tonight with a party of 6. Order for drinks went well, but service went down hill quickly. I ordered a Jamison neat and a bud light. I had to explain wha "Neat " was. We ordered appetizers , which came fairly quickly. We ordered chips and salsa and the bowl's outside was full of salsa. As the server was leaving I asked if we could get silver ware and some plates. He said okay! But never returned. After about 13 minutes I approached the hostess and shared my dissatisfaction. A few minutes later our waitress came by with the plates and silverware. We had already ordered our entrees, which also delayed. All were delivered accept a chicken sandwich which came 10 minutes later. The reason given by the waitress was the chicken takes longer to cook. When the waitress returned next she asked "How was everything and was told "Not Good" to which she responded "What do you mean ?" Terrible service. I ordered curb-side pick up and had my husband go pick up the food. Food was ready 15 minutes before my husband got there. Entered the parking space number, and follow the site direction but they never came out. He couldn't go into the place because it was raining hard and the kids were in the car. He ended up calling them after waiting close to 1/2 and hour and in less than 2 mins after the call, they came out with the food. Our waitress was courteous and patient. Service was not slow on this particular day. The bar area was not empty even on lunch break on a weekday. I've been to this Chili's before and had a good experience. I even wrote up a very positive review. But this time was really bad. I ordered the half rack of ribs with brisket. It was supposed to come with corn on the cob, but it didn't. I didn't notice this until after we left. What I did notice is that the "brisket" was absolutely the worst I have ever had. It was just a few slices less than 1/8" thick. It was absolutely dried out and I seriously cannot imagine any decent chef thinking this was acceptable to be served. The ribs were also very dry and unappealing. The french fries were cold and clearly not very fresh. I should have sent it back, but I was with family and didn't feel like making an issue of it. I will not be returning any time soon. I should also note that the staff generally all seemed to be rather gloomy and inattentive. The service was very slow, the waitress seemed to be in a bad mood, she didn't introduce herself or give her name. My table of 6 waited for a refill for over 30 minutes of WATER. We were at Chili's for almost 2 hours waiting for food, ordering as soon as we got there. When we got our food my pasta was cold, and they gave us the wrong order. When they brought the correct order out, I asked if it had no bacon like I originally requested, for "religious" purposes. The waitress reassured that there was no bacon, but as soon as I took a bite, there was an overwhelming amount of bacon. I was disgusted and spat out my food. The service took so long that I did not want to waste another half hour of my life to correct it. I ended up having to pay for a meal im not going to eat. Service made me very uncomfortable to the point where I felt like I couldn't voice my concerns over my food and service. I hope your staff can learn to manage tables better. read more

So this time it was a Monday night and we got in about 8:45 p.m. There was only one other table in the dining area that we could see. Many of the tables and much of the floor were dirty. The wife ordered a chicken salad and I ordered the chicken bowl. We waited for our food until about 9:25 and then decided to leave. We told our waitress we were leaving and she just said okay. I get take out and delivery from this Chili's every once in awhile when the craving for one of their items strikes. For the most part, the food satisfies most of the time. The only reason I only give them 3 stars however, is their customer service, and random hassles when placing orders using Doordash. I've had my order canceled for no explanation by the restaurant, at least 3 or 4 times. Also I've had issues when picking up Doordash orders, having the employees ignore me when I arrive, or bothering to ask why I'm there. The worst thing is the order runners who bring them out will do so for customers arriving AFTER me. The last time I had an order to pick up, I had been waiting nearly 30 minutes, all the time watching other customers pick up their food after arriving. When I called the store to find out what's happening, they rudely told me to go into the restaurant and get in line like everybody else because they don't bring out orders for people who don't use their own CHILI'S mobile app! This guy claimed he was the assistant manager and said they only bring out orders curbside for their own mobile app users. WTH?! I only order delivery now, and far less frequently than I used to because of this dumb "rule". Other restaurants don't seem to have problems with bringing out orders curbside. read more

To call this establishment a "clusterfuck" would be an understatement. Let me save you money, time, and a headache... DO NOT COME HERE. I had a bizarre experience here about 2 weeks ago. We walked in and it was fairly empty. A good sign, maybe we will get our food quickly.....wrong. For a party of 5, we waited over 40 minutes for our food to come out. I think it makes it worse when 1) your waitress is nowhere to be found and 2) other people who arrived after you are almost halfway done with their entrees. When the waitress finally comes over (after we flagged her down) she explains to us that the kitchen staff is short. After the food came (it should be noted - I ordered a chicken salad, how hard is it to throw all of that together?? You don't even have to cook anything!) we advised her that all of the food needed to be packed to go. It took her an additional 10 minutes to get to go boxes. At this point, we needed to leave and get back to work. Time crunch. We had spent nearly an hour and wouldn't have time to eat. She NEVER gave us utensils! My coworkers ended up taking the silverware because they were so pissed, lol. I mean at this point, fuck waiting for a plastic fork. Just take what's available on the table. Waitress comes back with the tab. One coworker handed her a $100 bill. To make a long story short, the waitress short changed us. She gave us back less than she was supposed to. At this point, we asked to speak to the manager on duty. Another 10 minutes passed, and no one came out to fix the situation. We find out the manager is COOKING IN THE BACK. What the fuck???? I guess they really were short staffed. But if you have an angry customer, and an issue with money...put down the damn deep fryer, forget the fries. Customer service should be a priority!!!!!!!! The manager on duty didn't even apologize. He asked us to find our waitress....seriously?!?! She was hiding, I think she knew that she pulled some shady shit, so she was nowhere to be found. He ended up pulling some bills from a register and handing it to us. One of the worst experiences ever, at a restaurant. This review needs to go to corporate. Chili's over the years has been Ol'Faithful. After a long day on the road, we decided to stop here for an early dinner before heading back to San Jose. We were promptly seated in a booth of our choice. First off, Matt our waiter was great! He was very attentive and took care of our needs. My girls can be messy and he was quick to respond with extra napkins and extra juice for them. It was 4th of July weekend, and I think that the Manager didn't do well with staffing. It took awhile for out meals to come out. Matt the waiter had several tables to tend to..Several!! The bartender was constantly making drinks and pouring beers. What was sad, Matt the waiter was cleaning his owe tables while there was 4 greeters, hosts & hostess sat around yapping!! Why didn't they helped?!? The kids Little Cheese Burgers were tasty! My Sweet & Smokey Burger had too much going on. The description on the menu sounded great, but not for the price!! The fries were terrible! How can you screw up fries?!? They were yucky as my oldest would say! The onion rings were great!! I sent back my fries for onion rings. The draft beer was cold and tasty!! I had a Coors light. The Wife had some crazy margarita that she inhaled! -Food prices expensive. -Meal times to the table sucked! Long wait. -Parking sucked! I love this location and we come here like twice a week. Tonight was just sad. I get that the cooks are short staffed but the manager just made it feel like it was our fault because we didn't send the food back. Appetizers arrived with our meal. The cheese had sat on it so it was a little hard and dry. My moms steak was way over cooked and her mashed potatoes were bland. My steak wasn't rested so it bled all over my plate my rice was cold and my broccoli was either under and over cooked. I walked away thinking, "I'm so glad I got something with fries." I opted for a chicken burger with avocado and bacon. It was impossible to eat as a burger. The chicken was too thick and they put on an overwhelming amount of lettuce. Again, thank heck for those fries. My friend seemed to enjoy his meal quite fine. However we were both in agreement that service was way too slow. We came in hot at 1pm for lunch and the place was dead. It took awhile for anyone to realize that we were even in there and then when the business group came in it was like we were nonexistent to our server. I came here for lunch with a group of friends, and the service was a bit terrible. The waitress totally forgot to make my friend's milkshake. Once we finished eating, he realized he had to cancel his milkshake order. The waitress also charged my friends for 'rice and beans', when they thought it was supposed to come with the meal. It would have been nice if she informed them about the extra charge. When I asked for the togo order to be on a separate check, the waitress didn't do that for me. She added the extra order onto the group bill. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back to Chili's unless my friends wanted to go there. The food was overly salty, so we were all super thirsty.
