Came on a Sunday around 3:00 and it was pretty busy, but we got seated quickly. Service was slow at first. Took long to get our drinks and for the server to come by our table to place our appetizer. After an hour it started to pick up as the big crowds started to leave. This is when we started seeing our server more often. I did the 3 for me (comes with a starter, a drink, and an Entre). I also ordered chips and salsa for the table. I started with the loaded baked potato soup. I had never had a soup at Chili's and I was impressed with how tasty it was. I then had the chicken crispers. This Is my go to whenever I am at Chili's. For some time the crispers were not crisping at chilis, but this last visit it was cooked just right! Lastly, I ordered the molten chocolate for dessert. A must at chilis! And big enough to share with 2-3 people. If you're not trying to spend a lot of money and still want tasty food this is the place to come to. The food was good, but service was terrible. We had to constantly remind the waiter that we need straws napkins for example, my order came with a starter and it didn't come out till the main course came out which defeated the purpose of a starter. Secondly, with the appetizers we had on the table. We barely had any room to eat. Normally the waiter removes other things to make room thirdly. We were sat at a table with something in the roof that continue to drip we didn't notice it until it was almost time to go after we paid. It was dripping on my daughter food which was disgusting and all I got was a I'm sorry about that. I've always been a big fan of Chilis and I know what to expect when I go to one, so unless there are any unforeseen circumstances, I don't see why this isn't a five star experience for what it is. This location was very modern, the Booths had a wooden finish with a gray light aesthetic that gives a totally different field to the interior of the restaurant, updating it, and muting the heavily southwestern features of past. We had a large party, about 10 of us today for a friends birthday, and our server must have been overwhelmed as the place was full, and she had all her tables taken. Still, she was able to bring us what we needed and get everything out without any mistakes, and we really appreciated her help. The chips and salsa were fresh, the salsa was chunky just how we liked it. We each had some of our favorite items, I had the quesadilla explosion salad, which is one of my favorites, and the quesadillas were made divinely today. The tortilla itself was buttered well before being laid on the flat top, and you can taste it in the rich And melted cheesiness in every bite. Sometimes they come out hard and dry, but today was none of that. We also had a molten, I wish they had given a bit larger scoop of ice ice cream, as it wasn't enough for the brownie, but it was delicious and fresh. My friend had the 3 for deal and I had the lunch special combo which was $10. My lunch special meal consisted of a drink, chicken enchiladas soup appetizer and double burger with fries. The food tasted good and the service was decent. I couldn't finish my entire meal because I got full off the soup, fries and half the burger. Both service and food were basic. I came in to this location for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for a quick meal. For starters we had the skillet queso which had a bit of a kit and tasted good , However the chips looked like they had been run over by a truck as barely Any chip was near whole. Honestly this Chili's location has slowly been getting worse and worse over the years. The food quality is subpar even for Chili's standards. The pricing has increased and the quality has severely decreased. I'm not expecting a 5 star culinary experience, but damn don't serve over cooked, dried up food that feels like it's been under the heat lamp since the morning service. The service has gotten so bad that you have to be constantly asking your service or the first server you find to get things such as drink refills, utensils, napkins, etc. your primary server plays hide and seek with you cause they disappear indefinitely. After being asked if we were done eating they took about 30 minutes remove the plate from the table, then another extra 25 minutes to bring the bill and an extra 15 minutes to return the cards cause they didn't have the payment tablet for our table. As for the ambiance, the tables are always sticky, again even for Chili's standards. for someone who use to love coming to Chili's for the good cheap food and good cheap drinks, I've been let down time and time again, the drinks are more watered down every single time. The blue Long Island 2 for the price of one deal was my go to every time, but lately what they have been service is blue soda with a slice of lemon, every time I've ordered it I've had to return them cause they want to charge you alcohol price for blue soda. I stopped and had a old-timer hamburger today with french fries with no salt and barbecue sauce. I used to love their hamburgers and french fries today was a big fat disappointment. Not only did they serve my hamburger very well done in the edges were crispy but I did not like the flavor at all. What was once a hot spot for my friends and I throughout high school and even partially in college is admittedly now a children's plaza. See, we went to the Morikami to attend the Hatsume Fair to then end up in Miami Lakes as my dear boyfriend had to run an errand. Given that the four of us were spent and hungry after this adventure and given that one person in our group is a notoriously picky eater, Chili's seemed like the most reasonable choice. We arrived and there was no line. Perfect. We were then led to a booth and our server was with us right away. Again, this was awesome. We then ordered a variety of plates. My little cousin drank water and ordered crispy chicken tenders with a corn on the cob on the side. She didn't finish her meal, so we took the rest of it to go. My roommate had some burger bites, French fries, and lemonade. He also didn't finish his meal, so that was to go as well. Meanwhile, my boyfriend ordered some fried pickles, a steak with a side of corn on the cob, and the 2 for 1 special they were having for beer. He got Dos Equis which was a fab choice, but I'm biased, so what do I know? Meanwhile, I claimed to not be that hungry and I inhaled an entire plate of Cajun chicken pasta and had two glasses of strawberry lemonade. What can I say? It was amazing and it hit the spot. Honestly, the food was good, but it wasn't great. Not to mention that for a chain to get a five stars for me is difficult, so this really begins as a four-star review with the potential to go up or down. Unfortunately in this case, it goes down. The reason? How does it take ten minutes to get a box to take our food to go when the place is practically empty? This is by far the craziest Chili's I've been to. Came here on a Thursday night and it was more like a rowdy sports bar. Guests brought their own music box and were blasting it on the bar, people acting really drunk, throwing napkins in the air. It was wild.
