    Shredded chicken bowl

BAM! Money!! Delish! That bowl was huge and really good. You have to make a trip over to the hot sauces to add to the kick. Hubs tried the burrito and was very satisfied. The ladies at the counter were terrific helpers as this was our first visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restroom and eating area looked clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of the best Mexican meal I have had. Well seasoned and you can taste the love The hot sauce bar is really creative and a lil goes a long way.

    Inside very nice!

This place was extremely impressive as my first time to any of these hot branches! I had their new garlic shrimp tacos which were super delicious and very crunchy! Without salsa there is no flavor so you need to visit the salsa bar definitely. The girl pouring my water wasn't careful with it because it had Black particles floating inside yuck! The girls working here as staff were VERY nice people and I just loved the entire happy, colorful environment it was so pretty! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the loud music and the small salsa bar, this place is VERY very nice!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I definitely want to come back to one of these!!!!!

    Chicken taco

I'm very disappointed in this location. Usually when I come to Tijuana flats it's really good. But this location the food was cold and like where is the meat. The chicken tacos had little chicken bites and a lot of cheese. I would like a chicken taco. Not tortilla and cheese. Then the beef tacos had more topping than meat and the meat was cold cold. Very much disappointed. The service was good can't complain about that. And the ambiance was fine. Not busy at all. But do better with the amount of meat in the tacos and the temperature.

    Massive beef burrito.

Not all Tijuana Flats are created equally. This franchise location consistently delivers tasty and large portions. The tortilla chips are always fresh, which I have not found to be the case at other locations. The portions are large. Most importantly, the service is always fast and friendly. They have deals on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Taco Tuesday is their most famous and popular deal, two tacos, chips, and a drink for $6.99. They also offer 10% off at all other times for first responders and teachers.

We decided to stop by to grab dinner Togo and we're pleasantly surprised with the 2 for $20 Saturday deal. The gentleman at the register was friendly and helpful with helping me decide on what to pick. The hot sauce bar is awesome with lots of varieties of flavors to choose from. The wait wasn't long and the food was tasty. We will definitely be back!

The service was great when placing an order online and picking up . The food was fresh , just wished the online order had picture of how certain food looks to make ordering a bit easier or choosing items on the menu .

    Beef salad
    Michelle F.

I ordered a beef salad to try something new at Tijuana Flats, since I always order the burritos and have gotten tired of them. I ordered the salad through the app. It gave me a 20 minute estimate so I arrived 30 minutes after ordering, since this place is ALWAYS late with orders. Not one time has my order been ready on time. That is not the case at other restaurants, but anyways.... I still had to wait about 7 minutes when I arrived. The salad was okay. I found the beef to be too salty. I really wish they had more ingredients in this salad. I also thought the shell of the salad had little flavor. I did love the citrus vinigarette dressing..it was vibrant and just tangy enough. It They gave a lot of chips on the side which was nice. I wil go back to the flautas and burritos in the future.

There were seven of us for Taco Tuesday, and from the moment we sat down, our waitress seemed irritated that she had to serve our table. We ordered quickly because we already knew what we wanted. I ordered four Birria tacos on corn tortillas ($19.00) and a michelada ($9.90). Everyone else's food came out correctly, but mine did not. The tacos were clearly served on flour tortillas instead of corn. I politely pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced. Instead of correcting the order, the waitress brought back the exact same plate and looked me in the eye while insisting they were corn tortillas. They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.

Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. As the banner on the app says, MEXICAN FOOD MADE WITH LOVE, and our visit proved it.

When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

The fella on shift was a nice guy. he got our drinks quick, and the chips with our choice of salsas. we got salsa fresca which is always good, the creamy jalapeno,, and added the guacamole as well. It's nice that you got that all for free. We like to do that and then get enchiladas to go. Which we did(along with some tacos as well). It was a nice stop in, just wish we had one closer to home.
