If you've been to Tijuana flats, you'll know exactly what to expect. Great place for fast casual tex Mex , they have great flatutas, quesadillas, tacos, and more. This location has friendly staff, and as usual, the food is pretty fast, though made to order.

Shredded chicken bowl

BAM! Money!! Delish! That bowl was huge and really good. You have to make a trip over to the hot sauces to add to the kick. Hubs tried the burrito and was very satisfied. The ladies at the counter were terrific helpers as this was our first visit. Restroom and eating area looked clean.

Inside very nice!

This place was extremely impressive as my first time to any of these hot branches! I had their new garlic shrimp tacos which were super delicious and very crunchy! Without salsa there is no flavor so you need to visit the salsa bar definitely. The girl pouring my water wasn't careful with it because it had Black particles floating inside yuck! The girls working here as staff were VERY nice people and I just loved the entire happy, colorful environment it was so pretty! I loved the loud music and the small salsa bar, this place is VERY very nice!! I definitely want to come back to one of these!!!!!

Chicken taco

I'm very disappointed in this location. Usually when I come to Tijuana flats it's really good. But this location the food was cold and like where is the meat. The chicken tacos had little chicken bites and a lot of cheese. I would like a chicken taco. Not tortilla and cheese. Then the beef tacos had more topping than meat and the meat was cold cold. Very much disappointed. The service was good can't complain about that. And the ambiance was fine. Not busy at all. But do better with the amount of meat in the tacos and the temperature.

Massive beef burrito.

Not all Tijuana Flats are created equally. This franchise location consistently delivers tasty and large portions. The tortilla chips are always fresh, which I have not found to be the case at other locations. The portions are large. Most importantly, the service is always fast and friendly. They have deals on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Taco Tuesday is their most famous and popular deal, two tacos, chips, and a drink for $6.99. They also offer 10% off at all other times for first responders and teachers.

We decided to stop by to grab dinner Togo and we're pleasantly surprised with the 2 for $20 Saturday deal. The gentleman at the register was friendly and helpful with helping me decide on what to pick. The hot sauce bar is awesome with lots of varieties of flavors to choose from. The wait wasn't long and the food was tasty. We will definitely be back!

The service was great when placing an order online and picking up . The food was fresh , just wished the online order had picture of how certain food looks to make ordering a bit easier or choosing items on the menu .

Quesadilla

Love coming here everything is always so good. There are sooo many sauces to choose from but my favorite is always the Jason's Mom and the Vidalia Onion. Both have a sweet and tangy flavor that pairs perfectly with everything. When entering the cashier was very kind and provided top notch service ensuring that the order was accurate and up to standards. I had the steak quesadilla and trust me they did not shy away from the protein, It was stuffed to the brim. Tijuana flats is a great spot for lunch or a casual dinner. There's great music always playing and the tvs always have some great clips showing.

It started with one in Orlando years ago, and then other towns, and they a high water mark was going to the original one in Austin. I recommend the trip to TexMex/NewMex mecca. It's a pretty cool spot And this location in Pembroke Pines hold up to the standard of the original. We walked in early lunch hour, it wasn't busy yet. We did our usual and got a couple spots in the bar. This always pays off as we get service quick. The fella on shift was a nice guy. he got our drinks quick, and the chips with our choice of salsas. we got salsa fresca which is always good, the creamy jalapeno,, and added the guacamole as well. It's nice that you got that all for free. We like to do that and then get enchiladas to go. Which we did(along with some tacos as well). It was a nice stop in, just wish we had one closer to home.

You place your order, get a number, and they bring the food out to your table. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla which came with chips on the side, no complaints at all. It was well-seasoned, flavorful, and the steak actually had lots of flavor. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside since the weather was nice, and it was perfect for people watching. My only suggestion would be for staff to check and clean the outdoor tables and chairs a bit more often There was some bird poop, which wasn't a good look look. If you're in the plaza and looking to eat something at a reasonable price, fast and good... then I do recommend.

First off, Victoria is awesome!! Such a fun and friendly bartender, she honestly made the night so much more fun. She was on point with the drinks, and even made us a special, Mexican candy shots, they were delicious! We ordered a variety of food items, and each was as good as the next! We had the carb nacho, and they were delicious. They use real crab! I had the rice with rotisserie chicken, it was flavorful and so tender! Definitely would be getting that again if we go back. This time around, I ordered the bean tacos and a taco salad, and both were pretty good. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors were solid. I'm always getting chips & queso, so figured I'd mix it up with fries. While I liked the fries, the queso felt a bit thin and not very flavorful. Like it seemed they just mixed in a little fresh pico de gallo for the flavor component. Chips & Queso w/ Beef: The classic is much better than the dipper fries. Felt like there was more queso with the beef upgrade. Also, the thin chips let you focus more on the yummy cheese. Cheese Enchiladas w/ Red Sauce & Green Sauce: I love cheese! Like when choosing between meat or cheese as a protein, I usually pick cheese. So the enchiladas scratched that itch. Both sauces were nice, though not that memorable. The rice and beans helped fortify the meal, since the main enchilada portion felt a tad small. 3 Way Fajitas: This was an awesome fast casual dinner for two. Came out in an oversized mound of proteins, onions and peppers. While you could have created mixed fajitas, I did separate waves. The shrimp was tiny, springy and nicely flavored. The steak was the star, with that classic fajita chew. The chicken is nicely spiced, so more exciting that regular chicken. It came with guacamole, cheese, sour cream, rice and beans to feel like a real sizzling fajita plate experience. But it was the salsa bar that really livened things; I especially favored the green salsa.

I paid $25 before tip for the "unlimited tacos" option (base price + chips + drink). After finishing my first plate, I went back up for another serving. The employee stops me and says I have to pay another $16 because he "saw on the cameras" that my girlfriend ate a couple scraps off my plate with chips. They're literally watching security cameras to stop people from sharing a bite of food. At a taco bar. That level of pettiness says everything about how this place is run. For the record -- I ate one plate and was satisfied. I wasn't trying to take advantage of anything. They still tried to charge me $32+ for what they call "unlimited" tacos. On top of that, the guy was preparing food while holding a dirty house phone, touching it, then going straight back to making food with no gloves or hand washing. Completely unsanitary. Even another customer nearby told me to "chill" because the situation was so absurd. A paying customer gets lectured and accused on camera over a couple of leftover pieces of taco meat on chips? Ridiculous. I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who expects basic customer service, professionalism, or food safety. There are far better taco spots in Broward that don't treat customers like they're trying to steal from them.
