Wicked drinks
Rachel V.

Ugh when you go to Chili's with your girls for a Wicked movie pregame and the drink is gross. We ordered the green and pink Wicked drinks and a blue drink was delivered to the table. I had to ask the waiter why the drink wasn't as pictured and it was only then that he mentioned they ran out of sour apple syrup. Our waiter was just as underwhelming as the drink. Just very dry and looked like he didn't want to be there.

Forgot how chili's always hits the spot. True bang for your buck. Clean restaurant inside. Favorite dish is the fajitas. Server was kind and he brought out our appetizers and food out quick. I came on a Halloween night so it wasn't so packed inside which was great no wait time.

Them talking in the corner about us

Service was horrendous. We sat at the bar for over 20 minutes without being acknowledged and this was at 11 when there were only 5 others sitting at the bar, not busy at all. The bartender was rude and made faces, and made our drinks with 90% mixer, I watched her make them. I returned mine politely, and she rolled her eyes which annoyed me. We had ordered chips and salsa as well, which at chilis there is a big pan of the salsa in the back and a huge tub of chips that the server portions out themselves, I know because I worked at chilis before. 20 more minutes passed and still no chips and salsa, she was just cleaning and closing the bar since we walked in to try to leave earlier. That's fine, but the attitude wasn't necessary at all, she kept shrugging her shoulders too. A customer stole a margarita and went outside to the car with it full of alcohol, I alerted the server and she shrugged and said that "it's not my problem, nothing I could do about it" when at chilis and most restaurants, you aren't allowed to let them leave because if they drink and drive and get into an accident, it would make them responsible and the restaurant liable. That's why they don't give you alcohol to go. I could ever hear her talking crap about us with another server/manager and they looked over at us while doing so as well. Talking about how the bar is closed so she doesn't have to make us anymore drinks, but we weren't intending to order more, just wanted our chips and salsa. Very uninviting, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. I canceled the chips and salsa, we paid for the one drink and left. I'll attach a picture of the employees involved.

My Bacon Guac Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries

My fiancé surprised me with a lunch that was really delicious. I had a cocktail (the flamingo breeze) that was super tasty. I should've had 2. I also ordered the bacon guacamole crispy chicken sandwich with fries. It was so delicious. My fiancé had the quesadillas but not spicy. And we shared the chips and salsa to start. The service was pretty good and the ambience was kind of loud because of course it was Friday. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's in the Kendall area. 2 thumbs up.

Hi yelps! local to the chilis in Kendall, FL on 88 street. I love the new remodeling they did and upgrade to the menu, food and to go! the ambience of the restaurant is family style, loud, usually packed but great service. The drinks are delicious usually. I like the classic margaritas. I MUST is their egg rolls! my husband got the sirloin and it's good with two sides. Another menu gems is the chicken enchilada soup, fajitas, ancho salmon is delicious! good local family spot.

The chicken tenders with honey spicy sauce was amazing. The egg rolls were also delicious!

The food was so delicious and fresh. The Margarita rimmed with Tajin was refreshing. Our server Jean was super attentive. The Molten cake could have used more ice cream.

I remember when i used to get excited to go to chili's when i was younger. I'm not sure what happened but things have changed. It's always packed so waiting for a table wasn't too bad. 30 minutes after we put our names down for a table, we got a high table and we put in our appetizer order and drinks almost immediately. We got the drinks 15 minutes later and the appetizer took 40 mins! Considering it's probably frozen food, it shouldn't take that long. The food was okay. I liked the honey chipotle crispers and the ranch was good. Once we got the appetizer, we ordered just the honey chipotle crispers and waited another 40 minutes for that meal. The food was pretty good, honey chipotle sauce is definitely my favorite sauce. I could hardly bite into the cob corn because the kernels were so thin, i'm not sure why, so i was practically nibbling on the cob. I ended up having 3 bites and then i stopped because the effort i was putting for the tiniest kernels was not worth it. While we were eating, i saw a server walk around eating some gummy bears and then shoving it in his back pocket before getting to a table. I gave it 3 stars because of nostalgia and because they have games playing on the tv which i liked. They have several TVs and they're loud enough where you can hear the games but not too loud where you have to yell to have a conversation. I also have always loved their honey chipotle sauce.

In a city full of places chasing trends, this spot feels genuinely intentional. Every dish feels like it exists because someone truly cared about balancing flavor, texture, comfort, and creativity instead of just making something flashy for social media. What impressed me most was how fearless the menu is. You can feel the fusion influence throughout the experience without it ever feeling forced. The kitchen clearly understands restraint and execution, which is harder than people realize. Even the smallest details feel considered. And honestly, the fact that they're serving burgers and pancakes at night on weekends is genius. It sounds simple until you realize how rare it is for a restaurant to execute comfort food at that level late at night without sacrificing quality. Somehow they make it feel elevated and indulgent while still warm and approachable. It gives the place this amazing personality where you can have a creative brunch experience, then come back later for one of the most satisfying late-night meals in Kendall. The owner deserves a huge amount of credit too. You constantly see him moving through the restaurant, checking on guests, asking for feedback, and making sure everyone feels taken care of. That kind of hands-on hospitality is becoming rare, and it completely changes the energy of a place. You can tell this restaurant means something personal to him, and that passion reaches every table. There's a reason they've been recognized for having some of the best pancakes in the country. After eating there, it makes perfect sense. The pancakes are ridiculously thoughtful in both flavor and texture, somehow nostalgic and innovative at the same time. Places like this are what make Miami's food scene special. Not just because the food is great, but because there's genuine heart behind it. Try the pork belly, bahn mi pancakes, cheesecake pancakes, hangover pancakes, and chicken thigh high pancakes. All are hits, and dont forget their creative coffees.

We opted for take-out and included their regular chocolate croissant, the Dubai chocolate croissant, the ham & cheese quiche, and a beef patty. The ham & cheese quiche came with a fresh side salad, and after the first bite, I can confidently say this is one of the best quiches I've ever had--better than many I've tried at hotels, on cruises, or from other bakeries. The flavor, texture, and balance were outstanding. The beef patty was another pleasant surprise. It was juicy, packed with flavorful ground beef, and wrapped in a soft, thin, and tasty pastry shell. Simple but very well executed. The classic chocolate croissant was delicious, with a perfectly flaky texture and rich chocolate filling. The Dubai chocolate croissant was also indulgent, though a bit sweeter than I personally prefer, but still very enjoyable and high quality. Service at the counter was friendly and efficient, and the packaging--both the boxes and the bag--was neat and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, a great experience. We're looking forward to trying more items from their menu in the future.

Looked on yelp for a nearby place to get Ramen and saw wonderful reviews for KOW. And so I ventured over. Looking unassuming from the outside in a strip mall, this is a really nice place for a quiet and wonderful meal. I was struck how it was not just Ramen, but a variety of different cuisines on one menu. I really wanted to try them all, but stuck with Ramen as that is what I was looking for on that particular evening. It did not disappoint. People have described it as the best Ramen in the area and I will not argue that point. I will, however, say that the portion was on a small side and I was still hungry afterwards. This is the only reason for the missing star. The flavor was excellent. The protein and added dumplings were all perfect. The broth was delicious. The servive was outstanding. The ambience was comfortable and truly enjoyable to have a nice conversation with my dining companion. I found the menu a bit overwhelming, but I will go back to try some of the other things as I looked around the table and people are eating a variety of different foods and by foods I mean food types as the offerings are so diverse. Prices are a bit on the high side, but my first impression is that the value is there to command those prices because the food is superb. Potentially a five star restaurant...stay tuned.
