Horrible service. I ordered for pick up. They gave me the time to come pick my food up. Once I arrived it wasn't ready so I waited no problem. Then the waitress said it would be another 30 minutes. I then asked for a refund because it was already late and my child was hungry. At that point the waitress said they were bagging my food up. Got home and my food was frozen cold. I could not believe they would do such a thing. So I definitely went back up there and told the manager. I didn't even trust them making my food over. Benny is awesome!!!!! So attentive. He makes great drinks. Benny is always circulating through his "visitors" and gives us so much attention. He is always asking if he can get us anything else and makes great suggestions for dinner drinks to pair with the food we order. He knows the menu so well that he can even make dinner suggestions too. Alexis is fantastic. She is attentive and is always checking on her "visitors". Peyton is great too. It's always rockin' when the trio is there to help and serve. If you are having a problem it is on you because these guys kill themselves to keep the party going. My complaint is simple. I'm a vegetarian. And I was served a real beef burger this evening. And I am mortified. When I sit down at a restaurant, I put trust in my server to get my order right. Especially for a sensitive situation like this. I haven't eaten meat in a very long time. And it was emotionally traumatizing, to unknowingly be served beef. It's crucial as a server, that before placing the plates, the entrees are checked to ensure to orders are correct. I was the only one at the table that was a vegetarian. I said it clear as day "black bean patty". When asked how I want it cooked, I even joked about it not being meat, so all i cared about was it was cooked thoroughly and it was hot. I don't normally run into this issue when I dine out, so I didn't think to check before taking a bite. We were all pretty hungry and h just wanted to eat when the food finally arrived. When I told the server about it, she did seem very shocked and apologetic.. offered to take the plate and have a new one made. I agreed. It took almost 15 more minutes to finally get my meal. By this time by other guests had long finished their food, and it made my eating experience awkward. Upon check out, I wasn't approached by management to explain or apologize for the horrendous incident. In fact, I wasn't compensated at all, and had to pay full price for the burger. Over all, I am very displeased. I used to go to this Chili's all the time, even more so since COVID. And every time, the service gets worse and worse. This was the icing on the cake for me. About every 6 months we have to go to this Chili's and remind ourselves why we DON'T EAT HERE. It's always the same story... You walk in and they have only staffed half the restaurant, so you have a 20-30 minute wait while you look at empty tables all over the restaurant. Then you get a descent server, who is then made to look stupid by an inept kitchen staff. The food that comes out is wrong, cold or looks like it was thrown on the plate with little regard. I spent 7 minutes on the phone to ask a question about a black bean burger. So, I decided to go to the restaurant and order to go. I asked for the Old Timer with a black bean patty and PEPPER JACK CHEESE. She brung me a burger with American cheese and no condiments. No big deal. I ask for a slice of pepper jack cheese and condiments. She goes back there and I hear the cook say,"We don't have any more sliced pepper jack cheese, we only have shredded pepper jack cheese. Ask him if that is cool." She comes back and gives me shredded cheese without asking me if that is cool, KNOWING I asked for a slice of cheese and not shredded cheese. I give this 1 star because of the last couple of times I've been. The service is pretty bad especially the last time I went. I waited 10 minutes for a host to sit me and my fiancé when they weren't even busy at all. I guess she was on break or something who knows. We ended up seating ourselves at a booth in the bar area. My wife saw a commercial on TV for Chilis. I should have known better. We waited quite awhile for hostess to show up to seat us. My wife said the women's restroom was a mess and the stalls were out of paper. Despite the crying baby in the booth next to us, we decided to stay. The waiter was polite once he arrived and was fairly prompt with the service. I unwrapped my utensils to find that both my forks and knife were filthy with food particles stuck on them, not to mention the waterspots. We ordered the chips and guacamole which came in a paper bowl. I know this is not a fine dining establishment, but really? I'm torn though, at least I have a better feeling that the single serve paper bowl is more sanitary than the utensils they put out. Don't know why we didn't leave at this point. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I ordered the Special Prime rib tacos. These would have been good had they been served at something hotter than room temperature. Again another paper cup with my black beans in it. I should get the name of their supplier and buy some stock in these things. My wife ordered the "unlimited" Enchiladas. Trust me, a half order IS the limit. These were gross. They know you won't want anymore of these after tasting them. Ick. In all honestly, I don't think I will ever return to a Chilis. In our 40 minute wait (mind you we didn't even order entrees) we were surrounded by 5 filthy tables that no one even glanced at. As we watched the manager stand there and play on her phone while we sat, with no silverware, surrounded by filth, we at least thought our drinks would fill up quick, wrong again. My family eats at chili's regularly. However this particular restaurant was horrible. It took 20 minutes to be seated even though there were multiple tables that were open. The hostess typed my name in wrong. They called the incorrect name multiple times. Thank goodness I had received a text that our table was ready. Once they figured it out we still stood around for 3-5 minutes before we were seated. The waitress took our drink and appetizer order. We got the drinks and needed a refill on them before our appetizer came out. Our drinks rarely stayed full. My food was a bit cold and the flour tortillas were very, very crunchy. I get the same thing every time I go - steak bacon ranch quesadilla. This was by far the worst I've had. The waitress rarely came by to check on us. I noticed several employees just standing around talking. Definitely not the best experience and not the service we are use to receiving from chili's. This was the first thing that caught my attention, not good or professional. He asked me what the problem was and I explained to him that I did not like what I had ordered but was told I could not exchange it so instead I wanted it taken off my bill. He told me that was not Chili's policy. He told me I ordered it and the order was prepared to the restaurant's standards and there was nothing he could do about it. I then asked him prepared to the restaurant's standards but not the customer, the person paying for the food? I told him I did not see anywhere on the menu that a customer could not send back and order something else or have something taken off his or her bill if the food wasn't touch. I asked him to please show me that policy in black and write. Where in the store was that policy WRITTEN down? He refused and told me that he did not have too. I told him I would think as the manager he would want the customer to be happy and to continue doing business with the establishment, not just blow the customer off as if he or she was being a nuisance, definitely not good business etiquette. This man could care less, so I decided to send the food back, pay the bill, leave, and find out who to call and email to voice my extreme disappointment. This really, even now, just does not make any sense. If I could give this restaurant no stars, I definitely would. My autistic son behaved way better then that so-called manager did.
