    Chicken sandwich

Recently visited this location in MaysLanding, NJ. Dined in for lunch for the 3 for me meal deal. Comes with different price options starting at 10.99 based on the main you choose. Comes with a starter, meal and drink. Good size portions for the food. Food came out promptly. Staff courteous. Our server Lilly was attentive and welcoming. Would return in the future.

Triple Dipper with honey-chipotle chicken crispers, big mouth bites and fried mozzarella

Once again fell for the hype of social media and decided to finally try the triple dipper. I should have stayed curious. People really over hype the lamest food. The big mouth bites were overly salty due to the bacon bits and my burgers were on the rare side. The fried mozzarella was oily and barely had a cheese pull since they were lukewarm. The honey chicken crispers were the best thing of this dish. The sauce was sweet and spicy but there was just alot of that crispy coating and not so much meat. The witches brew drink was the star of this meal. I'm definitely a sucker for a themed drink. The idea for the triple dipper is definitely a good one but with mediocre frozen foods it's a flop for me.

Oh man, I have so much to say. I'm not usually a fan of leaving negative reviews, but I felt it was necessary after my recent visit to Chili's (12/27/24). I went to try the new Triple Dipper items that everyone on social media has been raving about. While the food was good, the service was not. Our server, Michael, was very rude. First, he informed us that their current advertised drink was unavailable and immediately removes the drink signage from our table. He made a lot of random comments. Ten minutes later, he returned to say that the drink was available after all. Whenever he asked us a question, he would jokingly said "No" multiple times....It wasn't funny after the second "No". His service was very similar to the servers working at Dick's Last Resort in Las Vegas. If you're not familiar, it's a restaurant where the servers intentionally treat customers rudely as part of the experience. Personally, I would never choose to dine at a place like that. It felt as though I was paying for a similar experience. We asked for small plates to share our appetizers, but we didn't receive them for 20+ minutes. It was strange that he needed to place an order for the small plates... we ended up asking the host for plates, which arrived before our server did. The final straw came when we asked for napkins. We had to remind him multiple times, and when he finally brought them, he THREW the napkins at my friend's face!!! I wish I was joking. My friend and I honestly thought we were being punked--like, where are the cameras? He was super unprofessional as a server and surprised they had a new server shadow him. The food took a while to arrive, but honestly, nothing came out quickly, so we weren't too surprised. One thing I will say is that he checked in on our table quite a bit, perhaps a bit too often.

Trash and leaves all over the floor

As a Presidents day treat I took my 2 sons to Chilis. While I haven't been here for a fee years I remember their tenders and sliders being quite good. We walked into a pretty empty restaurant. The hostess simply said "I'll be right with you". 3-5 minutes later we were sat. As I was waiting I took notice of leaves around the host stand. Then looking further there were straw wrappers and trash around the server station. When we were sat there were more leaves, trash and crumbs all around us as you see in the photo. I almost left there but gave it a shot. The chips and salsa seemed to be the same as before. Things were looking up. Then the meals came. My triple dipper was pretty bad. The tenders were soggy and rubbery. The big mouth bites had a been in the freezer too long flavor and the Nashville hot Mozzarella was pretty bad not resembling anything out of Nashville. My sons got mac and cheese which was overcooked and dry and tenders which again were soggy. We paid and began to leave. I wasn't going to write a review at all just not come back however the unshaven server with glasses that basically pushed their way past me and said not a word prompted this review. The icing on the cake was this rude server not even thanking or saying the basic have a nice day as we left. I made sure to say "thanks and you too!" as we left. My sons gave their visit a 1 and a 0 out of 10. I came here during college and you'd think the geniuses at Chilis would try and market to me since I have potentially 2 additional future families attached to me. Nope. They are destroying the customer experience with poor service, ambiance and cheap, low quality products.

QP Burger with mashed potatoes. Burgers are a little smaller, did not notice fresh grill marks on the meat, seemed like frozen patty.

Ordered recently from Chilis, the app was having issues. I ordered through an employee name Mar. She was patient, listened to my order for accuracy and provided outstanding customer service. I ordered the QP Burger, I requested medium well, but it came back well done, little overcooked. The burgers are smaller and less condiments. I think QP burger shoukd have lettuce and tomato included, so the burger is not so plain. I also had molten lava cake, little high priced, but it fills any chocolate craving. If the burgers had lettuce and tomato included and was not well done, I would have issued four stars. The burgers did not have that fresh grill marks like fresh cooked? I hope the burgers are not frozen?? I did not see any fresh grill marks. Little disappointed.

Very good customer service and food. The music gets a little loud but it's still a kid friendly spot. The kids menu also has good selections. We came during happy hour which had some pretty decent drink selections and price. I love the 3 for Me option which comes with a drink, appetizer and entree.

Nope. Terrible service and not many people here. I had a drink and left the sticky bar. Bartender would disappear for 20 minutes at a time. Hard pass.

There were several Mexican restaurants to choose from and many had great Yelp reviews. After careful consideration .... Tacos El Tio was our pick and so glad it was! What a gem. And they have a full liquor license with tons of great drinks, especially if you're looking for a margarita! I opted for a nice Mandarin Jarritos soda -- i was just in the mood. They also have screens with sporting events on + an area with a full bar to hang. They have booths and areas for large tables too - so it's great for the whole family or a nice date night. My husband loved his steak fajitas and could not stop raving about them. He loved them! I ordered the chicken fajita enchilada..and it was ginormous - - you could make two meals out of it! Sorry I dont have more photos - - we were hungry! :) And I cannot forget our awesome server, Jose! He was a super nice server and loved that he was from Ecuador - - where we recently traveled! We will definitely be back. I just made your Mexican restaurant selection for Egg Harbor Township easy!

A fun time at Egg Harbor's second-best Mexican restaurant…read more If you look at Yelp, you'll see there's another Mexican restaurant that has a slightly better rating than Tacos El Tio. HOWEVER, that other place is BYOB, and if you want to have an alcoholic beverage, for example, a margarita, you'll need to bring your own tequila. Tacos El Tio is a full-service Mexican restaurant that offers well-crafted beverages alongside delicious food. Now, to the specifics... TET has lots of parking. The inside is large, clean, and offers plenty of comfortable seating. You might prefer a table or booth that's on the far side of the dining room, well away from the bar area with its speakers and any loud conversations. Our server, Julie, was attentive, efficient, and delightful. They offer a range of margaritas, from specialty concoctions to their margaritas-on-tap. The on-tap version is about half the cost of the concocted version and, in my opinion, a far better value. As for food, all we tried, all we had to try, was their Los Nachos El Tio. That was a plate, heaped high with corn tortillas, layered with nacho stuff, along with generous portions of beef, chicken, and chorizo. And, unlike the nachos offered by some places, the good stuff wasn't merely a topping; it was interspersed with chips from top to bottom. And it was enough that even though we started off hungry, and even though it was delicious, my wife and I couldn't finish it. The only thing we'll do at our next visit is leave out the chorizo; it was our least favorite of the three proteins. TLDR: Sit somewhere far from the bar, get the least expensive margaritas, order the nachos (maybe without the chorizo), and leave your tequila at home.

Well, everything has changed. I ordered the chicken fajitas with no peppers, only to be told that they coudn't accomodate that request. Apparently they don't cut their own onions & peppers anymore, it comes in as a mix. I'm sorry, but if someone orders no peppers, accomodate them. The fajitas came out not sizzling and stuck to the cast iron skillet. Chicken was lukewarm so it was sitting in the kitchen for a bit. The tortillas used to be in a basket wrapped in a napkin to keep them warm & soft. Not anymore. They came on the skillet with the lukewarm chicken & they were hard around the edges. More evidence of food just sitting around. I loved the chicken fajitas there, that place was what made me even like fajitas. Unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer. They've even changed the way the do the tortilla chips. I don't think they're homemade anymore. They taste like they were dumped out of a bag into a basket. I'm sure these decisions were made to save money. Well, in an attempt to save money, you have sacrificed the quality of the food. Horrible!!!!!

Though I don't usually join them on these jaunts the need for some family time was present and I was able to get a ticket for the bus that leaves from my area fairly quick and easy. I'm in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and the ride is about two hours give or take depending on traffic. Once I arrived and having caught up for a few minutes we decided to get some lunch. My early start found me only having one of those Carnation Breakfast drinks on the bus. There were a few interesting options to enjoy but Mom suggested Casa Taco and I'm not one to argue since I love Mexican food myself. The downside was that they were not yet serving lunch so breakfast it was. We all kept it simple and ordered the "Two Eggs with Meat" listing on the menu. I had scrambled eggs with sausages and my folks the same but with a differently prepared egg. A steaming cup of coffee and orange juice complimented the order. The restaurant was clean and very open in terms of layout and while I didn't catch our servers name she was very friendly and brought our orders out as quick as it was possible. At the end there wasn't a scrap on my plate but like I said I was hungry. So if you find yourself in the Tropicana down in Atlantic City, NJ this is a good recommendation from me. I cannot say when or if I will be back here because I like to try different places whenever I visit somewhere but only time will tell.
