    Tri dip and chips.

Sat at the bar. Decent beer selection with a number of New Jersey craft beers. Menu is pretty varied with most things in the $15-$20 price range. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, wings etc. Entrees run more. For the non- meat audience there are 6-7 apps, a flatbread, no sandwiches, a Beyond Burger patty can be substituted for any burger for a $4 up charge which puts you over $20 for a burger, fries and pickle. Two salads are meatless and you could have the rest with meat in the side to take home for the fur children. Plenty of seating at bar, high tops and lower tables. Outdoor seating is available. Seems to be plenty of parking. Lots of TVs. Bathrooms were recently remodeled and were clean and stocked. Service was OK, no problem except I ordered chips and dip app and it took over 20 minutes to get it. A couple other people changed their order to to go.

First time here. Got a Guinness burger. 4 out of 5. Burger was good and tasty and got homemade chips instead of fries. Burger was like 5 ounces. Wish it was little thicker. Husband got taco salad with beef and he said it was really good. Got a draft beer and an orange drink which was like an orange crush with Tito's for $6. Atmosphere was nice and service was good.

Delicious sliders. Perfectly cooked. Cheddar and bacon.

Got to experience the preview night and we really enjoyed it. The interior looks terrific! They really gutted the place and started over. Lots more seating, bigger bar and tons of TVs. The servers were friendly and really attentive, as were the bussers - offering refills and clearing things quickly. We tried the potstickers, wing sampler, potato and leek soup, smash burger tacos and sliders. Everything was great. The smash burger tacos were really flavorful and the kids picked that as the winner of the night. For me, it was the garlic buffalo sauce for the wings was the best bite of the night. All of the sauces were great. Nice beer selection, great cocktail specials, too. We will be back!

    Calamari, boneless wings and fries.

I went twice in 8 days because my first time there was great! However, I shouldn't have gone back so fast because my high expectations weren't met the second time. The potato skins were great both times. The calamari app and salmon in the salad the second time were both way overcooked. The kids pizza was soaked on the bottom and wasn't even edible. Pics are from the first visit.

I'm here the 2nd week of September. Definitely a locals bar. You could tell by the bartender service..... but I digress. My double captain and coke is the way I make them. It's cool how you order food at the bar. You have to make sure you prop up your menu on the bar so the waitress can see that you are ready to order. We got wings, chili, New England clam chowder and I got the Mac and cheese with crab. The amount of crab that was on the Mac and cheese was incredible!!!! Bartenders seem to be going through the motions and were not happy when asked about tap list. They have a fair amount of choices on tap but no longer craft even though there is a brewery in town. We enjoyed an outstanding dinner here! While staying nearby in Atlantic City for a conference, we…read morereally wanted to get away from that nasty area and one of our colleagues lives in the area and suggested we try Steve & Cookies. We got there and it looked, calm, simple, and plain from the outside - until we walked in... this place was PACKED! Clearly, since we didn't make reservations, we weren't going to enjoy seating at their white table cloth tables in the main dining room, but we went around back to their bar and scored one last table there. Our server, Brian was amazing... engaging... and on point! They have a nice wine list and perfect spirit list. They also have an outstanding menu loaded with so many options, that I really just needed to settle on the first thing I saw that looked good. For me, I love cucumbers and when I saw they had a cucumber salad, done Asian style, I was completely in!!! Then I saw their soup of the day was split pea with bacon and since no one serves split pea and when they do, it's rarely what I expect, I got that too! Both of these came out looking GREAT! The cucumber salad had a nice spice to it and the flavors overall were sooo on point! That split pea soup was also great... almost perfect! It had the exact texture this soup should have and the flavor was very nice. For my entrée I saw a few of the halibut as I was walking through the dining room, so that is what I chose. The halibut came out looking great! It was PERFECTLY prepared too!! The flavors were spot-on, and the accompanying veggies were great too. We were enjoying dinner so much that we didn't want it to end, even though we were full... so, we ordered desserts too. I opted for the banana cream pie, as this is another item I rarely see on a menu and when I do, it's rarely done right, but not here... they did it perfectly! Overall, amazing meal... Highly recommend stopping in, but make reservations first!

For me this is my go to favorite for meals that are well prepared, with a varied selection, and…read morepriced appropriately for a fine dining experience. Their summer tomato appetizer is probably the most popular of all. There are so many positive reviews that back me up about all that is great about the place, I thought that I might make a few suggestions for areas that could use improvement. First involves parking. They have very little and are using almost half of the space for outside services I don't quite understand. This means dropping off your party and hunting the neighborhood for a place to park. This leads to the second negative. The receptionist is a bit unforgiving if your ENTIRE party is not physically in the house. So if you are out foraging for a place to park you are out of luck. Next there is the bread service. Despite the fact that they are connected with a bakery there is an up charge for bread. This is a small thing, but really unnecessary as prices for the main part of the meal certainly compensate for a few slices of bread. Finally there is the reservation process. It seems like tables are held and not available for the general public. If you use the "notify" feature in RESY, there is a chance that one of these reserved tables will be released. This is annoying at best. All that said this is probably the best restaurant in the area.
