Outback is just as amazing as the one near me in Sicklerville! The environment has that same fun, lively energy -- it's the kind of place where you can just kick back and enjoy yourself. The steaks are absolutely delicious -- cooked perfectly every time. We celebrated my brother's birthday here, and the staff made it extra special by getting everyone involved in the surprise. Between the great food, incredible atmosphere, and friendly team, this spot easily deserves 5 stars! read more

We had a $50 gift card so we ordered from here. My daughter had the blooming burger, my husband had a steak I had the fettuccine with shrimp and chicken. Everything was good. I received a container of butter sauce for my shrimp. I poured it over the fettuccine because there was no Alfredo sauce. But it was still good. Everything was cooked perfect. We used the curbside pickup. read more

We swung by around lunch time mid-week. My friend was visiting from Ireland, and he's always fascinated by American steakhouses, and this just happened to catch his eye. Service was very good - kudos to the young server who was very patient. Between the Irishman's thick brogue (I do serve as an interpreter on demand) and my mom's deafness, I had to be COMMAND CENTRAL, LOL. To start with, I made the executive decision to order the Bloomin' Onion as a starter. I figured the Irishman would be suitably impressed, and he was. Surprisingly, my mom loved it too, and between the two of them, they demolished the majority of the plate. I asked for the ribeye and coconut shrimp combo. The shrimp was a bit disappointing - small and a bit overfried. But the steak was good and I actually brought home most of it. A good time was had by all. read more

Pretty solid Outback location. The beer is cold, the food is tasty and the service is friendly. Inside it looks like...an Outback. Only downside I've run into so far is portion size consistency. The sides are usually spot on, but I recently got a steak and piece of chicken that were smaller than I'm used to. Outside of that, no real issues here. It's an Outback. read more

Overall, it's was a hot mess! Service was slow, served with attitude. Waited too long to get a beer while restaurant was empty. Food quality was very poor. Loaded potato soup was gummy and barely warm. Sirloin steak so tough, impossible to cut. Hamburger had grizzle in it. Brought wrong topping for cheesecake. Will never go back. I can't understand how this place is still open. read more

Service was wonderful ! Our server made sure that our group had an intimate birthday celebration and it made the whole night feel so special. read more

Outback Steakhouse - Drink - Steakhouses Near Me - Mays Landing, New Jersey

took 15 minutes for us to be greeted.. another 10 for drinks.. my steak was suppose to be well well done.. came back medium rare.. told my waitress i was pregnant and can't eat raw meat.. yk what she does? microwaves it?? my shrimp was raw i didn't bother saying anything bc yk didn't want it microwaved, over all my waitress was just miserable. she didn't tell us her name but she was medium high nd a little on the bigger side and her stickers on her waitress book. the host was nice that's my only good note :/ i think we would've been fine if we had anyone other than her nd if our steak wasn't microwaved ... read more

Don't Out the Outback! On today's episode of rating chain steakhouses, my wife and I decided to stop here for dinner. Honestly I haven't been to an Outback in probably like 10 years so I really had no idea what to expect. We were greeted immediately and the host escorted us to our table. The entire restaurant is Australian Outback theme (I'm not even really sure if that's a thing). On to the food, to drink I ordered a strawberry lemonade which had fresh strawberries mixed in. To start, we absolutely had to hit up that Bloomin' Onion. It was crispy and flavorful. For dinner, I got the Melbourne porterhouse with the garlic butter and grilled onions added to it. The steak was flavorful, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. For my sides, I had the loaded baked potato and a Caesar salad. Both of them were great. The prices were affordable and I'm starting to think the chain steakhouse are the move right now. read more

Outback Steakhouse - We had a great meal and service. We will be back again and recommend. - Steakhouses Near Me - Mays Landing, New Jersey

Ordered via grub hub. No silver wear. Steak tasted like salmon oil and smelled awful. So gross.

My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. We decided to sit at the bar because they were understaffed. Each of us chose the $16.99 special. I highly recommend that route because both meals were delicious. There is an upcarge for French onion soup, but it is flavorsome. Save room for dessert. You will get a slice of cheesecake as well. read more

Service was friendly and efficient. I hadn't been to an Outback in years. Was pleased with my sirloin and grilled shrimp. The shrimp were small so I wish they were more substantial. Good portion for the price. Wasn't too crowded since it was 4:30 on a Friday. The atmosphere was nice and and they had some holiday decorations up. Plenty of seating if you have to wait for a table. Bathrooms were clean. read more

Generally, this location is great. The staff is always friendly, and food cooked perfectly. Besides inflation and prices going up (not their fault), I'm a repeat customer and have a full belly when I leave each time. The only time I've really been disappointed was today. I came in to get the Center Cut Sirloin, Lobster Tail deal they are running right now. Sit at the bar as I always do and asked the bartender if that was still running. She thought about it for a second, then said no only the Crab one was going on. So I ordered my normal Center Cut Sirloin meal and get that. It came out perfect of course and left happy and full as always. But when I got home, I looked on the app's menu, and sure enough the Lobster Tail special was still going on. Def disappointed I lost out on that tonight. I go every couple months or so, so pretty sure I lost out on that deal. Moral of the story, check the app and don't trust what the servers say if you know a deal is going on. read more

I went for the lunch special, sirloin steak, it was chewy and enedibale, I ordered medium rare.

Stopped there after some appointments for a quick meal. Burgers were good. It's Outback so good food is expected... but what stood out was our server, Patrick. He was kind, courteous and a breath of fresh air . It was a rough day emotionally so his kindness was really appreciated!! I made sure to speak to his manager giving him kudos for friendly and kind service ! read more

Our first time ordering delivery at your restaurant in mays landing New Jersey. The blooming onion was mushy to where it was not edible. My seared prime rib, asked for medium. It definitely came as medium well. For the price of your steaks, I deserve better. I am not happy that I have you she my time to contact you about something could have been preventive if the cook screws up, the kitchen manager should have caught it before it gets to my table. I have photos of the items that were not edible. read more

it's funny because this burger looks really appetizing in the photo... it was not. i ordered medium well- it came out extremely red still. the burger lacked any flavor whatsoever. i had also ordered a long island (not pictured) that came out tasting like pure lemon juice. the food and drinks here were subpar at best. texas roadhouse is better for your money. 2 stars is because our waitress was very nice and accommodating. read more

Outback Steakhouse - Steakhouses Near Me - Mays Landing, New Jersey

I have not been to the old location since some A-hole bumped us because he called ahead from the parking lot. With the new location we put ourselves on the waiting list online. So Suck it ! this time I'm the A-hole. Website had us being seated at 7:00, but we were sat at 6:55! When we got there the place was packed, luckily we found 3 seats at the bar for a drink. The new layout is nice with TVs and high tops, BUT (come on you knew a but was coming) it's loud and the floor sweats so it's slippery. Server was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. We ordered the Bloomin onion because it's a law in some states. It's taking a little long for the main course to come out and our waitress keeps stopping by to apologize. She went as far as asking the manager to come over to the table and give us a free dessert. The food was good and they are working out the kinks. I feel they are trying to please. We'll be back ;) Maybe some saw dust to help with the slippery floor? read more

Outback Steakhouse - Nice new digs - Steakhouses Near Me - Mays Landing, New Jersey

The food was as expected, o.k. The service and our server were quite awful. She never smiled was dressed like someone hired to scrub floors, not serve people at table, never inquired after our meal. The used dishes remained on the table until we left. Very unappetizing. We used to enjoy your chain, here and in Florida, but will give our patronage elsewhere in the future. So sorry you have let your standards drop. Is it new management? read more

Decent food and service but overrated chain as a whole. Much better steak options available for less money.

First I will say the staff were exceptionally nice. Our waitress, Sheryl (sorry if name spelled wrong as I don't have the receipt in front of me) was superb and gets 5 stars. She was not only very nice and accommodating, but I could tell that she was very seasoned (no pun intended) and that she had seen and come across all kinds of clientele before. In any case, here are the reasons for the 3 star rating. Upon asking for the toppings on the side on my baked potato, it came with everything on the potato. Little issue as they took it back right away. Then, the broccoli was very mushy and overdone. Lastly, my mom's steak was too underdone. However, I suspect this was done intentionally as she was very specific, and if it's underdone, it could have easily been taken back and cooked a little further to her liking. To be honest, conventional American food is not really my top choice, but I would certainly give this place another try. Venue was very clean and spacious, as mentioned, staff were very nice, and they did have some good choices (I can never turn down a good steak!) that I'd be willing to come back to try. read more

This was our first time dining at Outback and I must say that we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by the mgr Miguel and he was very welcoming. When we notified him that this was our first time dining with the company he made sure we were very well taken care of. He helped guide us thru the menu and we started off with the hot and honey shrimp with the Boomarita to share. COMPLETELY AMAZING! Then I decided on the Filet Mignon and lobster which was cooked PERFECTLY and my boyfriend ordered the sirloin with the bloomin' chicken and he loved every bit of it. The asparagus was a bit under seasoned and mushy but that's the only negative. Our server Jackie was very attentive and made sure our every need were met. For this to be our first time here we are beyond pleased and look forward to returning to try the dessert menu. We definitely appreciate Miguel for taking the time to make sure our first experience was as amazing as it was. read more

Outback Steakhouse - Steakhouses Near Me - Mays Landing, New Jersey

I brought ten family members to La Barca and it was possibly the worst dining experience of my life. Right from the start, no sparkling water, bread came out if a package. Appetizers were forgotten, everyone's meal was missing key descriptions, no pear on poached pear salads, seafood left out of entrees, even bones in the scallops!!It took 1 1/2 hrs for entrees, no refills on our water, and other beverages. Every entree was over cooked and inedible . The hostess was very rude, there was no soap in bathrooms, I asked for soap, hostess ignored this request. I am a regular in your Collingswood and Marlton restaurants, so this was not only a disappointment but was just a horrible experience. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The ambiance was no existent, good view but terrible experience. read more

Outback's new location in Mays Landing! What a Beautiful restaurant! With a very open and welcoming space! We first had the Outback Blue Cheese Wedge Salad. Delicious and a must try! My Husband and I both had the Outback Center Cut Sirloin. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We also indulged with their signature Boomarita pictured below. So good we ordered 2! Very nice looking place, love the decor.. that being said; the soup was cold although I must admit the clams were favorable and tender. Baked potato was nothing special, little to under cooked for me and the loaded part was missing!! Lol The shrimp on the Barbie was the best part of the meal. Staff & Service was pretty much on par! read more

If it wasnt for the great service from our waitress it wouldve been a 1 or 2. 3 different tables around us returned their food, unabke to eat my salad because it was literally swimming in ranch dressing, the bloomin onion (which we use to look forward to) is like a dwarf onion, very sad. The medallions had zero flavor and just overall a poor dining experience. If people dont want to work and give a quality product, get rid of them. Outback is much better than this. read more

So we ate dinner here because we had a gift card. The sides were ok but the steaks were so salty I could not even eat half and it made my stomach hurt. The waitress offered new steaks which was nice but I was done eating. It was empty and just had a depressing feel. Just a bad vibe overall. read more

We came for my niece's sweet 16 and tried to make the night special under the circumstances. They said a 1.5 hour wait to be seated for a party of 12. We waited. After awhile I went to get an update and was told that we weren't even on the list! The manager was a jerk about it and said he would've never said he could seat us because we would take up too many tables. He told us 1.5 hours. We wouldn't have waited if he says that. Ridiculous! We stayed so long that we couldn't even go anywhere else. Everything else closed. Thanks for ruining our night with your lies! You blew about $400 in sales and a great tip for your servers. read more

I love outback stake houses food. I loved going to the location near the old mall. It was great. But this new location, whoever is cooking their food, IS TRASH! The last 3 blooming onions I've gotten still had raw batter on them, my fries were not fully cooked, my French onion soup had no broth... my foods cold and my salads warm. Make it make sense! I could keep going but I think you get the point. I'm only saying this cause tonight will make it the THIRD TIME my family got food here and it was practically inedible. We hardly ate any of it. I hope you guys get someone who knows how to cook in that kitchen. We're done going there. read more

At 4:00 pm on Sunday, we were told a 20 min wait. There was a strong odor of urine and the host said it was a customer. We waited 30 mins, and inquired about the status of our table. We went here 5/28/23 with my husband and son. We are so happy that we sit immediately before it get crowded. My husband Prine Rib is big he didn't expect that 12oz is bigger than he expected. my server was Jackie, and she was the best. My wife and I came in for dinner, after not eating there in years. She ordered a hamburger, and I had a small steak. No appetizer's or mixed drinks. Every location is different as far as the rating I would give each one if you're a steak lover I always order my medium that's perfect if they overcook it a little bit it's still good if it's a little too undercooked you can always send them back for another couple minutes. They can always cook it to your level they cannot unhook it to your level that's why I ordered mine medium. read more

I'm not going to lie I haven't eaten here in 20 years and got the ribeye steak. I wasn't expecting anything good but I'm not going to lie I really liked it. I'm sure whatever it was seasoned with is loaded with sodium and other horrible shit because a cheaper cut of meat shouldn't be this good! But hey maybe it is but I doubt it for the price point. French soup is awesome too, I'll be a repeat offender for the ribeye love it more then other chain steakhouses read more
