Leery of all Chili s after a horrible experience at their Montrose location but had gift certs to use. First impressions: Music is too loud. Waited is pushy. We're here to relax but are being rushed. Any place that will serve me food after 11pm holds a special place in my heart, even if the service, or even the food, isn't spectacular. The chips and salsa that they give you with your drinks are pretty clutch, everything else was lacking though. The fried corn guacamole was extremely bland, no salt, no spices, nothing. The loaded nachos were not loaded (this may have been because we requested no meat). Something was not right about our waitress. She was either a stoic or just very, very high. Stopped on for dinner after a long day of outlet shopping with my fiancée. We both ordered ices tea, I had the blackberry, fiancée had the mango. They were both very good. For a appetizer we had chips, salsa and guacamole. It was all good. For dinner I had the BBQ chicken enchiladas with been chillis, my fiancée had the chicken enchiladas with sour cream. Both entree came with black beans and rice. The food was served nice and hot. Everything tastes great, portions were nice, service was ok. I say ok because we were never offered drink refills. We sat at the bar and Lyssa was our bartender. She was very nice and helpful, and gave us great service. She took our drink order and ask us if we wanted to put our appetizer order in. She was able to explain our our options and offer helpful suggestion to make our order better. We had margaritas with sugar and salt rim and it was wonderful. My husband got the Cajun chicken pasta and she ordered a creamy jalapeño sauce that made his dish the best he has ever had. read more

My mom and I decided to eat here today. It's 48 mins away from where we live but since we were out that way and I never been to chilis we went. I have always seen the commercials on tv and the food looks good. And it was!! We started off with the nachos and the sauce we ordered with them was wonderful. My mom ordered the bacon ranch quesadilla. And I took a bite of that and it was soooo yummy! I ordered the bacon burger and loved it. I can't believe I didn't review this place when I was there two months ago. Fortunately for me, I was just passing through the area and will never be back to this Chili's location. I had driven about 13 hours from the twin cities area and stopped in Macedonia on the way to New York. Stayed in a nearby hotel and this restaurant fit the bill for a quick normal dinner I could have with my young daughter before going to sleep. I ordered a salad, soup and a beer. My daughter got the kids menu Mac and cheese, which is supposedly just Kraft brand. We've eaten at Chili's dozens of times at home and figured we would be fine here. We were wrong. Her mac and cheese was undercooked with crunchy noodles. She wouldn't eat it. She just had fries for dinner as a result. My soup was the only edible part of the meal. My salad had filthy bits of lettuce that hadn't been washed. My beer... this is the really insane part. I asked for a recommendation of whatever they had on tap, a short glass, not a tall. I am very beer friendly and just wanted a small one after the brutal drive of the day. What I was brought was a tall mug of a beer I don't recall the name of. The girl who dropped it off was not the server who took our order and that's fine, seems to be a normal thing. Not an issue. Notable however because she tried to present this beer to me as a gift after I said I had just ordered a short. She told me they would just have to pour it out so I may as well have it and enjoy it. So I naturally thought "why not?" THE KICKER: I went to take a sip of this enormous gift of beer and it had SOMEONE ELSE'S LIPSTICK on the rim. Like a full bottom lip print in lipstick. This girl didn't return. Our server didn't return. I flagged down the first person I could find and had it switched out. The girl came by and asked where the beer was, she said "oh they didn't let you keep it?" So I told her it had been sampled by someone wearing freaking lipstick already and before I had even finished my sentence she was walking away. She seemed put out that this scheme didn't work and I returned the used beer. So nasty. So the meal overall totally sucked and if I lived in Macedonia I would never eat here. My kid still talks about Ohio two months after the trip, namely the grossness of this Chili's experience. read more

Manager Heidi, should return to Grandpa in the mountains to be retrained. We eventually found out we had a new server, Matthew, who maintained a decent attitude but was poorly trained. We promoted several times to clear the 1st round of dishes. We then stacked them in the middle of the table to see how high we could go, & they still weren't manicured. On the 2 for $25, which included appetizer & dessert, we were charged for those items. The charges were adjusted, but if the server knew the menu, he would've known not to charge. Worse, a $5 President margarita was ordered. He seemed confused there was a$5 Margarita. He asked, "what flavor?" I asked, "oh, what flavor can I get?" He pointed to specialty flavors, so I picked the Sunrise. When we were charged an additional $2, I complained. He said, "u chose the Sunrise." I asked for the manager. Heidi trotted out & just stared. Finally, she said, "u chose the Sunrise." Matthew deceptively said, "I explained it to u." There were 4 witnesses who knew he did not. I have eaten at Chili's restaurants many times all over the country, and this is the worst experience I have had. The food just wasn't very good, the service was mediocre, and the atmosphere was not pleasant. They didn't even get the molten lava cake right, which has never happened to me before. Chili's isn't what it used to be. This chain restaurant has gone way down in quality. Years ago we LOVED this place. We hadn't been to a Chili's in a very long time. Decided to give it a try even though the reviews weren't that good. Went with my family a few weeks ago for dinner and all of our meals were awful. The Ribs, Steak and Salmon dinners were disgusting. No one could eat their meal. Everything was old and dried out (Left over from lunch? Sitting under a heat lamp all day??). A total disappointment for everyone. The service and atmosphere were average. Definitely not a place we would ever go back to ever again (anywhere in the US). Went for lunch and wasn't busy at all, we got served fairly quick. When we got our food, none of my condiments were with the meal and i had to wait a minute for them. My girlfriend asked for shrimp in her pasta, she got chicken, when she asked to get a side of shrimp, the waitress said she would charge her. And in order to get shrimp she would have to wait another 20 min for a new pasta. My fries were so cold and nasty, ridiculous. When we went to pay the kiosk didn't even work in order to pay. Everything seemed sloppy here. They need the guy from five guys to come back from vacation and help restore quality. read more

Chili's is just great, every time I've been there I've had good service and good food. They don't make you wait for your check since there is a tablet at the table, also good to keep kids preoccupied. The last time I went there I had chili tacos 100% would recommend them. Years ago I was here and was not impressed to the point it took around 5 years to go back. Now we go quite often, I almost keep going back waiting to get bad food. We have been here about 5 times in the past 4 months. It has always been good, the servers have been nice, and the food is amazing. The price is the other thing if i take my family of 4 to outback the food is ok and i drop around 70 bucks. I haven't gone above 50 here and have always loved the dinners. My kids really like their pizza, apple cinnamon thing and corn on cob. I get the trio thing and change the items in it, always been very tasty! read more

I did not expect much and we did not get much - full disclosure this mediocre review is reflective of the food only not the service - our server did her job & did it well - the food much like the 2 star review was in a word mediocre - we went only because we had a gift card to use - thought of re-gifting it but then realized we would give it a go having not been to a Chili's in many many years - turns out we were not missing much - the food was not bad - it was edible but nothing stood out about it .. we opted for the 2 dine for 25 bucks & that is a really good value for what you get but the food was just overall bland & did not stand out as something we would ever return for - we had the 2 side salads vs sharing 1 app - the salad dressing choices are very limited but that is thx to Covid I'm sure - I had the chili mango chicken as an entree & the husband opted for the 1/2 rack of ribs - both just .. shall I use the word again? mediocre .. as well as our dessert pick of a slice of cheesecake to share but I will say that the portion of that considering the low overall price point was ample for 2 to share .. not to self is to re-gift the gift card next time .. We went here Saturday night because we had a gift card. Otherwise, we stay away from Chili's. This night reminded us of why this is so. They had been bombarding me with email ads touting their 3 for $10 deal, so I figured that is what I would get. I thought maybe we might get out of there without having to add our own money to the gift card, but that was not to be. The 3 for $10 deal, according to the email ads, was supposed to include a six ounce sirloin steak as one of the choices. Uh uh. Not listed as an option on this menu. I asked the server about it and he said, "oh, yeah, you can get the steak. It's just not on our menu for some reason." So I thought okay, I will order that, but when he asked what kind of salad dressing I wanted, I didn't like any of the choices. What is so hard about putting regular Italian or French dressing on the menu? Anyway, I opted for appetizers as my entree instead. My husband did go ahead and get the three-fer, which included tortilla chips and salsa for the appetizer. They were extremely salty and so greasy they shined. And to make matters worse, they had an upcharge. Don't ask me why. One of my appetizers was supposed to be bone-in wings. I got boneless, which I don't like. At one point a hapless manager stopped by the table and made the mistake of asking how everything was going. When I told her about the over-salted tortilla chips, she said I could have ordered them without salt. Well, who knew? Then I mentioned the salad dressing problem and she agreed with me, but had nothing else to say about it. Before I could go on with my litany of complaints, she scurried away. Other things went wrong but I can't remember them all right now. All in all, it was a disappointing experience and were it not for the gift card, I would have been ticked. The dark haired petite bartender who has been there forever is awesome. The server that we had there a month or so ago, Megan was the best we've ever had there. Haven't seen her there since. Everyone else doesn't seem qualified to work at McDonald's including the floor manager. In our last 3 visits we've had inept servers every time. I got the wrong meal and then when I didn't have time to wait for a replacement was still charged for it. I got grief for using a coupon, one of the ones that you guys email me at least twice per week. We have been coming there at least 2x/month for years. Those days are over. There used to always be a wait for a table. I notice there isn't any more on weeknights. That's not surprising. The quality of the service has gone down significantly. Too bad. read more

No one came out. We went in and it was hard to get anyone to help. Finally we did and discovered our food had been ready 20 min. So we asked to get new fries and they begrudgingly obliged. We have eaten here a number of times. The service was terrible. Chili's wasn't busy and we had 2 servers, yet they struggled. We had delays in ordering, difficulty getting their attention during the meal, dinner plates remained on the table and the bill was miscalculated. There are only a few select restaurants I can honestly say that I could recommend to anyone with 100% assurance of a greatly prepared meal and friendly staff. Chilli's is a great family oriented restaurant, it is also great for first dates, or even just watching games at the bar. The team of workers are very happy with their jobs, give you just enough time, and always have great attitudes. My favorite dish is the Chicken Ranch Quesadilla's. Everything cooked and prepared at Chilli's is to perfection. I have been going to Chilli's for 3 years and they still seem to surprise me! The food was terrible! I have been to this Chili's twice in the last two weeks. This is currently the only place that is close to home with an outdoor patio. I ordered the appetizer sampler, all three appetizers were very bad. Someone else with me ordered ribs, which although is Chili's specialty, were also very bad. The chips and salsa and the soft pretzel appetizer were actually pretty good. Both times the servers were friendly and came to refill drinks and check on us very frequently. Both times the food orders came out extremely slow, despite not being crowded either time. The food was disappointing and the bill really added up and was not worth it. Not too sure what happen on this particular day here. My family and I walked through the front door only to be standing there for about 10 mins with no one greeting at all whatsoever. Finally after the host greeted us, we waiting a little longer. The restaurant was only about half full and seemed pretty silly to be waiting as long as we did before being sat. Finally after we were sat at a table that clearly had NOT been cleared off and with seats that were filthy, we thought we'd have a good meal... that was wrong. The floor all around us was absolutely gross. Food was everywhere, looking like it was the aftermath of a full blown food fight. I wanted to leave solely based off the filth, but they eventually started to clean the mess up. It was another 15 mins or so before we tended to, and finally got our drinks. I ordered a draft beer from the bar, and when, I'm assuming a manager brought it to me, it was not even a full poured beer. I made a joke and asked if she drank some on the way, and she didn't get what I was saying. When I tasted the beer, it was flat and HORRIBLE. The sever herself was amazing, in fact she's probably too good to be working there. Unfortunately, she was a victim of circumstance, seemingly.
