Worst Chilis ever. Called ahead for 6:30, got there and were told we would be seated immediately. 30 minutes later had to check with the hostess why we hadn't been seated yet. "You're not on the list. What is your name?" The same name I gave you a half hour ago and watched you check in and confirm you had my phone number to text me when you had my table available. We walked out the door and Chilis lost our business to Panera next door. Pathetic. Not even an apology or an attempt at one. On 3/11 my husband and I decided to have a date night, a very special date night as we haven't been out in almost 3 years due to covid and having kids. We arrived at about 8:15 and were told there would be a 20-30 minute wait and that was no problem, the hostess took my name and phone number and we decided to wait in the car (I even got a confirmation text stating chilis would text when our table was ready). Time passes and I decide to go in after 45 minutes as we had plans for a movie after dinner and many people have entered and exited since we've been waiting. So I go back in to the restaurant and a man at the host stand tells me I was never added to the waitlist which is in insane because I received a confirmation text! He does offer me a table, however at this point my husband would have been rushed and not even been able to enjoy our meals/drinks. So we had to leave frustrated and with our time wasted. After that blatant lack of organization we decided to just order takeout from Outback Steakhouse who were across the border, but we still made our movie on time. Very sad that chilis dropped and won't be patronizing this particular chilis again any time soon. read more

I had to get to a game with a sports team, so I called ahead for our large party. I was able to send an email with all orders by jersey number. We rolled in and the tables were all set up to sit together, water already poured, and it only took about 5 min before all of the fresh hot orders were out. Jennifer and Heather (mangers that passed on the info) did an awesome job for everyone. We will do this again next time we play in Kenosha. It is an art form to get a party of 22 in and out in a half hour!! read more

We waited probably around 45 minutes to be seated last night because for some reason the host thought that since we were a group of five (four adults with one tiny 3 yr-old), we needed to be seated at one of the tables for larger parties. When we got sick of waiting, he told us he could seat us at two separate booths. We ended up fitting just fine in a regular booth. Ugh. So, we were pretty fed up with the service before we even sat down. Luckily for them, they redeemed themselves with the very attentive waiter that served us. He was very congenial and great at paying attention to our beverage's volumes. The food was standard Chili's quality. I had the Southwest Cedar Plank Tilapia, which tasted very light. The piece was a bit small for the price, the broccoli was steamed sufficiently, and the rice was just... Well, rice. I prefer the Firecracker Tilapia that they used to have - I didn't see it on the menu. Oh, and why did they take the Awesome Blossom off the menu? Oh well. It's extremely unhealthy anyway. But what about the Caribbean Chicken Salad? That's gone too. I don't think I like what they're doing to the menu. read more

If I could do a negative review I would we waited 2 hours to be sat for my table of five. once they called us to be seated they offered us a booth, a small booth for four then insults my group saying he thought we were gonna be smaller once he seen us basically calling us fat then once he seen we weren't going to fit in that small booth offered to split us up. Mind you one member of my group it is his birthday. And then I pointed out all the tables on the right side were open and stated he didn't have a server for that area witch I totally understand but their was a server serving a table of four right next to the open table of six that has been open the whole 2 hours that I guess the server couldn't walk a foot over to serve. I applied for a job, i got a called for an interview and went in for it, i was waiting 15 minutes and no one was there to interview me.. because no one was able to helped on the first interview, I could of been applying for other jobs or an other interview. They I finally got 2nd interviewed and asked if I could come in again, so I did then they said, come in for a 3rd interview which I did. I've dined at the Kenosha Chili's on several occasions; today I lunched there with Mummie. We both had a tremendous experience, and were very pleased. Our waitress, Miranda (?) was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive; she took very good care of us, but did not 'hover'. We ordered the Southwestern eggrolls to start and they were hot and wonderful; a bit on the skimpy side, however...and truly, that is my only complaint. Everything else was wonderful! Mummie ordered the nachos (she loves nachos) and was absolutely thrilled with them; I had a small bite and they were delicious. My chili arrived piping hot and absolutely thick, rich, and delicious. Even better, there were no chili beans in it! I had the turkey club and it too arrived piping hot with a good-sized basket of fries. Now, I will tell you this: I have never, never, never had a turkey club this good. It was AMAZING. Wonderful flavours, perfectly prepared, absolutely flawless. Flawless, I tell you! Both Mummie and I were thrilled with our food (and, if you've ever dined out with Mummie, you will know this is very important), and told our waitress, several times, how much we enjoyed the food. She was so thankful, and shared our compliments with the kitchen and also the manager. We both enjoyed ourselves, and will be back very soon! read more

We go to Chili's quite a bit and am very disappointed. Walked in tonight bar only had 4 people at it bartender never acknowledged us to say she would be with us in a minute was too busy complaining to a server. I was in the industry for many years. You need to acknowledge your customers between that and her attitude could be why the bar was empty. We left snd will spend our money somewhere more welcoming. read more

Went to have lunch on a Sunday afternoon at 120pm so it was later, and signed up on the waitlist online and was told 10 min. We went in and was told it was another 35 min wait and when we arrived, atleast 10 people were leaving and the restaurant was empty. So while asking why the waitlist said to come in and then the hostess said that doesnt matter it will still be 35 min. We left . As we were leaving 3 families of 3 walked in and came right back out. So my question is why have a online wait list if they dont use it ? And have very rude hostesses that hate there job. 35 min wait on a sunday at 130pm? Really. Horrible read more

Order from chillis from door dash at 645 pm. Got an email that my order was confirmed at 648 pm. The dasher got to the restaurant to pick up my order around 745 pm an hour after and waited there for about twenty five minutes and still the order was not ready. So after 1 hour and 30 minutes I started calling to try to figure out what was going on and could not get in contact with anyone at the restaurant, called about twenty times and nothing so finally decided to contact the dasher and all that they kept tell me was that the order was still not ready, finally decided to cancel order. "Boy, this is some outfit." - 1.5 Stars Though I have enjoyed dining at this Chili's in the past, this experience was sub-standard, at best. Though the food was tastier than average, the extended wait time, cold fries and corn, and relative neglect by our server deeply disappointed my party and myself. This restaurant is an incredible disappointment. This is the third time in a row where I ordered online one thing. Just one thing. An old timer with a side of guacamole, everything included. The online list of what I get on the burger is automatically selected for me so I shouldn't have to do a thing. Right? Not for them I guess. Because what do I get instead? A disgusting sloppy plain cheeseburger. No condiments of any kind, no lettuce, no tomato, no onion, nothing. But thank god you guys remembered the old cheese. The guacamole, which I paid extra for, nowhere in sight and the burger itself tastes horrible like you guys just threw a left over from yesterday in there. What puts salt in the wound is the fact that you really bad word people don't give me a receipt for my food and the one you give me in my email says old timer with a side of mayo. They have a complete gluten free menu for my wife. The food is good and we can go to eat there due to that menu. Thank you so much Chilis.

Service during off lunch hours was slow. The steak fajitas were overcooked. Some portions of the meat were like pieces of leather. Other parts of the steak was okay but still not cooked to medium rare / medium as it should properly be cooked. The steak was very well done in temperature. I have not been to Chili's in years so Im not sure of any recent ingredient changes. But to me the steak seemed like it was re-heated mass produced steak or the grill station just cooked the living daylights out of it. Either way half of each order was barely edible. Not sure if I will return any time soon. Its a $20 risk. If I do return next time it will be sent back if its served the same way. read more

Chili's is my favorite place to go, so I get Chili's gift cards for birthday and Christmas. Burgers, Ribs, Fajitas and great bar service. My wife likes their soups and salads, and we always get a nice booth with a great view of the TV (for game day). Favorite family bar and grill, (mostly the grill part!) the food is alway great, service is always fast and you can afford to take the family out to eat and order an appetizer too! I have been going to Chili's at several other surrounding locations and have had great service and great food. However, recently, we had 'service' that was non-existent with incorrect and incomplete orders at the Kenosha, Wis. Chili's. I love going to Chili's, however, I have been to this one only twice in ten (10) years and it doesn't operate professionally as well as several other surrounding locations. I honestly believe that big chain restaurant are not cut out to do business in Kenosha. Moving forward I will avoid going to these places at all costs. The hostess was pleasant and had a good grasp on balancing the seating in the restaurant as to not overload a particular section. Our server was uninterested to say the least. He was prompt taking our drink order but after the drinks were delivered his visits to our table were scarce and rushed. We ordered at 8:10p and our food didn't arrive until 8:45p. I have alway loved Chili's, but my experience last night prompted me to finally write a review. My husband and I went there last night for dinner. The manager was talking table to table asking how everything was. He noticed my husband had a maragarita and I was drinking water, so he asked if I forgot my I'D. We explained that I'm pregnantwith my first child. He seemed legitimately excited for us and was asking questions about due date, etc. After dinner our waiter asked if we wanted dessert, we were full so we declined. He offered us free dessert because he heard about our good news. I felt like this went above and beyond what was necessary for them to do, after all, pregnant women go in there every day. I wouldn't expect everyone to get this special deal, but it certainly was a pleasant (and generous) surprise! read more

Tried ordering dinner for my family today for Mother's Day, website said 45 minute wait, placed order, text said 45 minute wait, got there 10 minutes early, line was around the block every parking space full with families waiting for their food, half of Panera parking lot full too. The car next to us had been there for over an hour, finally found some poor girl they had thrown to the wolves, she said the wait was more than an hour from when our food was supposed to be ready. Many other people came up behind me to ask the same question. We finally asked her to cancel our order and had to end up getting drive thru for Mother's Day because now it was too late to order from anywhere else. Greedy greedy managers, if they had been honest about the wait I wouldn't have ordered from there in the first place. We tried calling them over and over to find out how long the wait really was, they just kept answering and then hanging up. Will never order from them again. Manager should be fired, shame on you! They had pretty good service there. I love the humor my waiter had. Just one thing that really bothered me though is that I forgot my to go box and they threw it away. I know it was my fault for forgetting it, but I wish they stored it somewhere for atleast 30mins -1 hour for the person who had the food could go back and retrieve their forgotten to go box.
