I F(41) with my children F(21) and M(2) and we had a wonderful time. It was quite a busy night so we had to wait just a little bit, though it didn't take too long. My daughter just loves the strawberry lemonade, she gulped almost four cups down . We always know what we want so we ordered immediately. Me and my daughter got a triple dipper while my son got the quesadilla salad. It came out surprisingly fast (just like my son ). The food was wonderful though my daught kept kicking me, it's hard to have a family meal when your marriage is on the rocks LOL. After we ate all the food we got the molten ice-cream brownie. It was Fantastic. My daughter payed for me and my sons and I payed for mine. It was a wonderful time .

Service was good, and it seemed to be short staffed because the bar tender was also waiting tables at the bar and by the bar area. The food was good and hot. Server was friendly too.

Okay, you know we love to have a good Burger and there are really good burgers here in Kenosha but have you had a Chili's Burger lately?!! Yikes, the Burger is so well cooked and bigger than the bun, it seemed! But what made it, was the great taste of the Burger and the condiments with it, in addition to the plenty of fries for the side. I had the Old Timer Burger and my husband had the Mushroom Swiss Burger. Both were decadent delicious and satisfying good deal. After first starting with the triple dipper appetizer, the meal was delicious. The friendly wait staff are friendly, kind and accommodating which always makes a good meal better! Did I mention, the $6 Margarita's ... well yes, those too quench your thirst. We'll be back for all of that again.

I have always loved Chili's especially the El Presidente margarita and southwestern egg rolls. Today was extra special with Brandy as our server. Very professional, helpful with menu and friendly. If you come in, make the request to have her as a server. You will not be disappointed. Kiddos Brandy. Keep up the great job and thank you!!

So apparently you no longer get tortillas, lettuce, tomato or guacamole with you fajitas to go

They dropped my favorite chicken tacos from their menu. Now the only tacos they have are spicy shrimp tacos. They've lost our business.

We then asked our server Juan what he recommended and we ordered two of those. We ordered the Steak Fajita with flour tortillas and cheese and sour cream on the side. Also the Bistec Con Rajas Y Queso with corn tortillas and sour cream and cheese on the side. Oh my, the flavors mixed together so well. I added the guacamole and salsa and enjoyed every taco, every bite. I stuck with water and my hubby had a horchata. He said it was delicious. We followed our dinner with a piece of Choco Flan. Ohhhh those two mix nicely for a great flavor!

But I'm no Sherlock Holmes so it took awhile for me to investigate this place and try their fine cooking. First of all, they will start you off with pico de gallo salsa and two other types. All three went very well with the big basket of tortilla chips. We decided to have their most popular meal and that was the steak tampiquena - cooked to perfection and still tender and pink. We also had the chimichanga meal and I elected to have ground beef as opposed to chicken and it was incredibly good!! I also tried the quesadilla with ham and beef lengua (tongue) taco, which was on the dry side. The veggies, guacamole, and sour cream were all very fresh. The conversation with the owner's son was very pleasant and they've been open for about seven to eight years. I told you I wasn't no Sherlock but I will be back here to this stately house otherwise known as El Senorial.

I want to start by saying that our server Sydney P was excellent. She was friendly, checked on us…read moreoften and had our experience been based on that- it would have been 5 stars! Unfortunately, that is not usually the case with service at El Camino. My husband and I had not gone back in a couple of years after they opened because of consistently bad and rude service. Their food was fine but even the best food isn't good paired with a bad overall experience. We decided to give them another try a few months ago and even though the service was a little better- it wasn't worth keeping them on our weekly rotation. My husband, daughter and I had gone there for dinner on Tuesday and as I said had a wonderful server. Both my daughter and I have had their steak tacos (filet and skirt), even though the flavor was fine, they leave the pieces SO LARGE that you chew forever on a bite of taco. This is not to mention that the tortilla does not hold up well to bites into these large clunky pieces. Because of this, I started ordering the Barbacoa tacos since that is shredded beef. However, my daughter doesn't like Barbacoa so she requested the cooks cut the meat smaller. The food came out and the pieces of steak were as big as ever. When I say that this could be a choking hazard for the best of eaters (let's forget about seniors, children, or people that may have dental issues) I mean these pieces are nearly the size of dice. We asked for a steak knife so that my daughter could finish prepping her own food (though she is not an employee of El Camino, apparently those who get paid to cook there, don't have to accommodate special requests of using their chef knives to cut steak before putting in tacos. As I watched her spend about 10 minutes deconstructing 2 of her 3 tacos and cutting up the meat and putting them back together (as it was getting cold), I asked for a manager. Nick came over to our table with a strange attitude. I said "Are you the manager?", as he did not introduce himself...at all!, he said "yes". I started by explaining that we asked for the meat to be cut smaller. He then starts to get defensive and argumentative saying how "everyone loves that dish", "everyone orders that dish", "There are NEVER any complaints about that dish". I had to interrupt him to explain that we were NOT complaining about the dish but the prep of the meat. He then says "Maybe that dish isn't for you". I said "So NONE of the steak taco dishes are for us because not only our request for safe size pieces was not accomodated but you are telling me that we take it or leave it???" He continued to talk over me and arguing until my daughter (who is very quiet and laid back) got mad and started explaining to him that he shouldn't be talking to his customers that way. Her and her husband order to go often and she explained that at home, she deconstructs her tacos, takes kitchen shears to cut the meat and then has to put them in the microwave to warm them up. Just because people don't complain doesn't mean they aren't unhappy about it. Instead of Nick listening and understanding what we were trying to do, he continued to talk over my daughter, and then snaps at her with "I'LL JUST TAKE IT OFF!". That set my daughter off. None of us needed nor wanted a free meal. We didn't ask for it, nor want it. We told him that. He finally asked what we wanted. I said that all I wanted was to share a suggestion of not only talking to his kitchen staff about accommodating COMPLETELY REASONABLE REQUESTS but to share with the other management our suggestion. That's it. We told him several times that we weren't complaining about the flavor, just the prep and that everything else was fine including the excellent service and that he, NICK, and NICK ALONE has ruined it for us. By the way- the ONLY way I knew his name is that I had to ASK HIM for it... We will NOT be back nor will my daughter and her husband order take out anymore. The food is fine but definitely not worth the complete disregard and disrespect of their customers! There are SO MANY better places that appreciate our business! Nick was on the right track- maybe EL CAMINO is not right for us....or anyone else.

There has been no improvement, and the latter was for the worst. The first sign was how empty it was on a Friday evening. Let's start with our service. Awkward, silent, miserable and a bad way to start dinner. Our server looked like she did not want be there. She was silently awkward, noticeably miserable and never once went beyond 2-3 words at a time. We ordered mojitos and margaritas, all made of mostly fruit puree. Realizing it was a mistake coming here, we ordered entrees to get the evening over with. Our food was the biggest disappointment. The quesabirria tacos were bland, lacked salt and the consomé was nothing but red broth. The food truck in town that specializes in this would have tasted better. The chicken dish was the opposite. Nothing but salt in a cream sauce so you couldn't really taste anything but salt. Hoping to be full of something I tried the rice. It looked like it had been partially ground and tasted like cumin out of a jar. We left hungry, extremely disappointed and upset we paid for such service and "food". We will not be returning.

I have never had fried cheese curds before so I have nothing to compare them to but I thought they were yummy. I had the BBQ brat with sauerkraut and German potato salad.
