My girlfriend and I had breakfast at First Watch this morning and had a great experience. The food was fresh, hot, and came out quickly. We both ordered the Trifecta, and everything was cooked just right. The Million Dollar Bacon was definitely worth trying, and the fresh orange juice and coffee were both excellent. Our server, Leilah, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a relaxed atmosphere. Food was delivered hot and fresh during 10 mins of my placing my order. Food was filling. I couldn't eat it all. Pancake is multigrain, light, and delicious. I'm ALL for healthy foods . I ordered bacon and while it was good, too me it was too salty . Eggs were cooked perfectly (over medium with very little runny yolk). Coffee comes with a carafe! Love this idea. Super cute atmosphere and vibe, service was solid. 3.5/5 Food was good but could have been served hotter - it was lukewarm at best. it wasn't busy yet in the Saturday morning we visited. We arrived about 30 minutes after opening and the restaurant had only a few tables seated. The hostess wanted to sit us a party of two right next to a table of eight when the entire restaurant was almost empty. I asked for a different table and they were accommodating, which I do really appreciate as the acoustics are very loud in the restaurant. Sitting right next to a table of eight would have been overwhelmingly loud as we would have felt like part of their party. Our server was great and refilled our drinks without us asking which I always think is a sign of a great server. Food was just ok, not very hot. Eggs taste better when they are hot. My husband's potatoes were lukewarm which was disappointing. Waffle was good but would have been better if warmer. Also, what's with the one piece of toast as a side??? Bacon tasted like the precooked variety and again not very hot just warm. Temperature of food was disappointing. Prices are a bit higher than other area establishments. I was traveling over Mother's Day weekend, so I chose to take my mom to First Watch today to enjoy a meal. Our server Taylor was thorough and knowledgeable. We asked what she recommended, and she provided several options. She ordered The Traditional with ham and sour dough toast. I ordered the Barbacoa Breakfast Tacos with potatoes instead of black beans. Our food was severed quickly and hot. Everything from the presentation to the flavors was perfect, and the portion size was large. The restaurant is large with both tables and chairs and booths. Very nice space, clean. I think we may have spoken with a manger on the way out for a moment as well. We spoke with a nice gentleman by the name of Isaac, who asked how our visit was. Checked out the new First Watch that just opened and it's a great addition to the area. The space is big, clean, and bright, and has plenty of parking. Food wise we ordered the Trifecta and the Chickichanga, plus a fresh OJ. Everything tasted great, potatoes were crispy, waffle was fluffy, and the Chickichanga had tons of flavor. The vibe is relaxed, music isn't loud, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, a really solid breakfast spot. Loved it! read more

When we first walked in it was a very clean and crisp environment. The host smiled and sat us and then it went all downhill. Our waitress came off like she did not want to be there at all. We ordered the honey butter biscuit bites and those came out first as expected but were cold and had no honey or butter flavor and putting the butter on it did not make it any better. One minute after our biscuits came, the entrees came. We ordered the banana brittle French toast, it was not even warm and besides all of the awesome toppings, it fell completely short, it was flavorless. The other entree we got was the Chipotle steak and queso hash. Another item that was barley warm and the guacamole was brown which killed the entire meal. It lacked flavor as well but was a little bit better with the queso sauce but you could not get past the nasty brown guacamole flavor. We got a small fruit bowl and that was good besides the huge piece of non ripe pineapple. I do not recommend going here, they're definitely better brunch spots and I had high hopes for it. read more

Got in on the soft opening. Clean, fresh, and Very well staffed and managed. Very reasonably priced! We both had skillets! It's a humongous amount of food, and so delicious. This is my second time visiting. Food was delicious however when ordering my kale tonic beverage I asked for ice to be on the side so I was given this small glass and a larger glass with ice. Later I ordered another kale tonic beverage they gave it to me in the larger glass with the ice. So of you order separately they give you a smaller glass which I don't like being that the cost of the drink doesn't match the size of the glass. The Classic Eggs Benedict was a good spin on the concept: lemony-good Hollandaise sauce over perfectly poached eggs atop thinly sliced smoked ham on a half ciabatta-like toasted roll with fresh greens on the side. First of all I have been a big fan of First Watch in Venice, FL for years. Unfortunately the one in Kenosha was very disappointing. Must admit the service was prompt and friendly but that was the high point. The coffee we were served was lukewarm at best. The over easy eggs were hard cooked with burnt edges. The toast (only one slice) was burnt and the butter like substance that had been mopped over it was oily. The "smoked ham" should have been labeled as "vulcanized ham" Maybe 1/8" thick and no taste at all. The potatoes were also over cooked had no flavor other than very salty and also cold. Since the service was fast I really don't know how they could have served such cold food. Will give it another 6 months and if they are still open will give it another try and see if they can get their act together. The only positive thing was that I was using a Christmas Gift Card so I didn't have to pay for this meal. read more

At 0715 we go on the website and Join the line it says the wait will be 30 min. We walk in at 0735 and checkin with the hostess. We watch about 6 sets of people walk in and be seated while we wait. We asked why it was taking so long and how people are walking in without waiting. We were told we were next twice then at 0803 we were seated. When ordering my food I asked for the potatoes in my milliondollar potatoes to be burnt because I don't care for my potatoes to be raw on the inside. I cook them like that all the time on a flat griddle by putting a metal lid over them while they cook to hold in the heat and cook the inside. After 3 attempts the middle was still raw. I eat the same thing in Florida at 3 different First Watch restaurants and they understand. Also, in Florida they appreciate military service with a discount. Here they do not. read more

My wife and I used to frequent First Watch in Kissimmee, FL, when we lived in nearby Celebration. We were delighted when we learned that a new location had opened in Kenosha, WI. We had brunch there recently and were thrilled when we found that the service and the food were both as good as (if not better than) our old Florida location. I ordered the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl and found that is was a semi-spicy Mexican-style dish. I reached for the bottle of Cholula when the dish arrived, but I found that it was seasoned perfectly and did not need enhancement. I paired the dish with a Pomegranate Sunrise ( a rum-infused fruity libation that was very good). My wife ordered the Bacado Omlet and said that it was stuffed with the best bacon she had tasted in a long time. We finished the meal with the Blueberry Lemon Cornbread. We were disappointed when we learned that it is on the seasonal menu. It was delicious! read more

Wasn't a fan of the iced coffee . The kale tonic was really delicious and refreshing. Our waitress was so vibrant and sweet ! Definitely adding this to my rotation of breakfast places . Went today for lunch. It was busy, but about 15 or so min wait. Said they were working on getting tables cleared. I saw 2 open tables, and 4 that needed cleaning. No one cleared off the 4 that needed. it. Had 1 cust ahead of us in line, and a small group or 2 behind us. Server got to us in reasonable time, she was nice. I know it was busy, but seemed to take a little to long for food. It was tasty. Thought she waited to long to ask if I wanted a refill on my tea. The biggest thing was my friend ordered the lemon blueberry cornbrea; but when we got our checks, they split the cost of the cornbread. WTH??! My friend ordered it, not me, she told the waitress it was to taste and would go home with her. WHY in the world would you even think this should be split when only one person ordered it! Unacceptable. They should have asked 1st before even thinking of doing that. We figd a fix, but hope this isnt standard procedure. Will go again, for food was good.
