Walked in the door and asked for a both. There were booths open. I had 2 kids with me and they were going to sit us by the bar. I mentioned the booth again and the host decided to give this whole statement about how the servers and the tables. The only issue is that within 20 minutes they started seating other families at those same booths that I pointed out. This is a new Chili's on Highway 521 that recently opened in Indian Land. I stopped in for an early dinner/late, Wednesday, lunch. I had the loaded wings app, a bacon burger and a side salad. My server, Preston, was in training, he, his trainer and manager Dana took great care of me, including substituting a side salad for the French fries (I am diabetic). They also remembered my minor requests of no tomato for the burger and salad and extra ranch dressing. The food was delicious and generous, meaning that I needed a to-go container for half of the burger. Despite a full house, I was seated quickly and my food came to my table promptly. My wife and I were "Chili's people" when we lived in NJ. When we moved to Fort Mill 18 months ago, we tried a couple locations in the area with disappointing results. We had given up and have not been to a SC Chilis in over one year. Since we were shopping in Indian Land today, we tried this location today for lunch and Chilis is back on our good list! Personally, I have never really cared much for Chili's. But, tonight was a game changer. It was absolutely delicious. We walked in and we're seated quickly. The waitress was overly energetic...in a good way! The food exceeded my expectations. The spinach queso was amazing. My steak was perfect. My husband bragged about his food and had a take home box. The service was prompt & greatly appreciated. On the way out, I noticed one of the workers spraying and wiping down all of the menus. Shewww, sanitizing is good to see. We will be back soon! Ambience is pretty nice but service is not great and food is even worse. Cajun chicken pasta is as good as having al dante pasta with Cajun pasta. There's barely any pasta sauce or chicken. Fries should be pretty standard all around but these fries were dry and chewy. The margarita chicken was like chewing on cardboard. Will not be coming back and do not recommend. Also very importance. My family and I rarely eat out. With 3 kids it can get expensive to do it often. We love Chilis but it is on the pricier side so instead of ordering on door dash to give extra money away and wanting to have our special treat hot and fresh I ordered curbside pickup. I was so disappointed. My text arrived that my order was ready and to open the link they sent when I arrived. I arrived not even 10 minutes later. I advised of my parking space as the text link advised me to. No one came out. I had my little girl in the car so I really wanted to avoid going in. Hence the curbside pickup. I had to go inside the to go entrance, 3 different employees looked at me from the kitchen and no one greeted me or helped. One of the employees that looked at me continued his conversation with another employee and finally came out asked my name and said oh your order is right here, I am so sorry. The bag has been sitting there completely ready the whole time. When I got home, and opened my Texas cheese fries, the fries were very dry, hard and there was no melted cheese. Extremely over cooked and the fries were stale. It was all burned and not very good to eat. When spending money to eat out you always hope that you'll receive a meal that was prepared with the customer satisfaction in mind. You wish that when an order is being cooked or delivered that the employees at a restaurant would care as if it was for themselves. Ordered to go chicken salad with extra honey mustard dressing. Should have looked before I left. Chicken was a little, and I mean little, amount of some shredded chicken, no tomatoes except for a few that should have been on a taco, and no cucumbers. Seriously a joke. After watching a great movie close by we dropped by Chili's because we hadn't been there in a while. Now I remember why we haven't been back till tonight. We did the 2 for $25 and ordered the 6oz house sirloins to be informed later they didn't even have anymore, but we could still get the 10oz for a $4 per steak up charge. So we kept rolling with it, then after we ate we were going to get our desert that comes with it and they didn't even have the cookie skillet on the menu so we went with something else they had. The service was terrible, my wife had asked for a unsweetened tea refill and never got one, I was shaking my glass of ice half the night with no one ever asking could they get me a refill. My wife had gift card and tried to use it and would not go threw. We spoke with manager (Dana) about the poor service and she seemed to care less. This place is a Joke! read more

Walked in through greasy finger print covered doors to be greeted by a male host with his hat on sideways and the obvious inability to speak. He did not greet us, just looked at us. Out of respect for his impairment I simply held up two fingers. He walked to the bar area and dropped our menus on high top and walked away. I then realized he could indeed speak as he was chatting it up with a larger fellow with a huge head of hair that we all learned was a former employee that had walked out days earlier, and decided to come back to hang around host stand and actually seat guests. ‍ an unkempt person in a dirty tee shirt was representing Chilis on a pro bono basis. The bartender, while trying his absolute best, had to cover the bar and the entire lounge area. We got our chips salsa and drinks, and placed our order. 45 minutes later our meal still had not come out. We had not gotten or been asked if we wanted refills on drinks or more chips and salsa. We just sat there. The bartender must have apologized to everyone in there 10 times. I began to realize that had become the management style, just keep apologizing for the many inconveniences. This isn't meant to impugn the bartender in anyway, he is just a product of his environment. But if the restaurant at least appeared clean, organized, and we'll managed then the set backs like we experienced with the kitchen would not have been as profound. But the Chilis in Indianland is a poorly managed restaurant that has hired anyone they could get to clock in and it shows. $56 for a meal I was so upset over I couldn't enjoy. You decide if that's the experience you're looking for. Indianland SC is where all good restaurants come to die and this Chilis is no exception. It could have been a gold mine. read more

Our party of 4 was seated at 5:00. The place was not crowed or busy at all. After being greeted and seated the visit went down hill. The appetizer was forgotten. The entire orders were wrong on 2 orders, The fries came much later as they were not ready, At this point the table was crowded with empty salad bowls and extra plates, Desert was placed for 2 of us. The check came with mistakes and the waiter gave inaccurate explanations of how to use table computer. At this point the table was a mess of plates, bowls and glasses. The climax came when a full glass of water was spilled passing the bill technology around. The waitress quickly came and saw the mess and puddles of water and then came back with a wash rag. No notice given of large amount of water in the walk way. The anti climax was when the manager just gave me blank looks when I showed her the mess and water on the floor. read more

Day one, quite literally. Walked in here at 12:05 on Memorial Day, 65 minutes after they opened. It's Chili's, so they've got their training specialists from all over helping with the new crowd. The regular staff seems great too. Food is great. Restaurant and bar is clean, but a smaller footprint than older Chili's. Right now there don't seem to be any kinks to iron out because they know how to open up restaurants like pros. Hopefully they can keep up the awesome vibe for this new addition to Indian land. read more

This whole order was a complete mess. Burned and soggy meals. Based on the way the food looked I was concerned I was going to get sick. The nachos had no cheese or anything on them but burnt meat and burnt queso. They were supposed to be chicken classic nachos and I am sure you can tell by the picture they were not. Okay so we go in to eat lunch today & I got a steak MEDIUM Rare right MEDIUM rare. So we get our app my salad everything was great until they brought my steak out the first one had ZERO pink in the middle , no big deal but I have to have my steak almost bleeding for me to like it not only did it had zero pink the top of the steak was burnt and just gross so the server asked if I wanted to make a new one okay that's nice but everyone's done with food and cooking a new steak is a 10/15 minute thing I didn't wanna wait and sit and eat so I asked her to just make it Togo please and make sure it was really pink in the muddle like how I asked. There is virtually no place to wait for a table without standing right on top of people trying to dine, which is uncomfortable, inconvenient and inconsiderate. With 2 appetizers, 4 meals and a dessert literally nothing came out right and some things weren't even right on the second try. We couldn't flag our server down when we needed something (which was the entire experience because nothing was right), never got refills or were even asked. Everything took so RIDICULOUSLY long to get that nobody actually got to eat at the same time - not the goal of a family dinner. Finally my husband went and found the manager... he listened but then even THAT wasn't enough to get it right. My daughter's mashed potatoes were awful, appetizer was cold, my husband's chili was the wrong size, burnt, dry and tasted like nothing but chili powder - and we had to wait forever and ask twice just for him to get a spoon to choke it down. My other daughter's salad was wrong, my meal was wrong, on and on and on. Even after the manager was brought into the equation and didn't get it right... he never once came back or even looked over to see if things had been resolved - which they had not been. Not good food, absurdly bad experience and I'm genuinely not sure anyone but us cared. Accidents happen and we are completely understanding of that... this was not that. This was a situation where nobody in this equation cared to do their job, or that people who work hard and had chosen to patronize the establishment were there to enjoy family time together and a nice dinner. I have been to the new Chiles in Indian Land several times since they opened and I must say it's not what you would expect at a Chiles, let alone a new one, I understand it's busy but I do not think it's clean, trash on the floor. We went there and my husband ordered a bacon b urger, it came out too cooked and no bacon strips on it just bacon crumbles on it, asked the Manager about it and she said they ran out of bacon, crazy for a Monday evening, I hope they get their act together, poor design as no place to wait other than the bar. read more
