We're staying at a hotel here in Dennison and we ordered curbside for dinner. Ended up having a flat tire when I was about to go pick up our order. I called chili's and told them we'd be late but we'd be there. I picked up over 2 hours later and the staff was so sweet and empathetic. They offered to remake my order fresh and they did. Chili's food is Chilli's food. They have consistency down in that department. The spicy mango chicken at 550+ calories was 3stars good. The poor management of a lunch crowd mixed with the cleanliness dropped these guys to a low 2 stars. Why must they clean with moldy smelling towels/mops. How can they not tell?! I am 76 years old and last years spent over 7000 dollars eating out with my wife. Our 23 year old granddaughter is staying with us and this was her choice. We had tickets for a 1850 show so we thought arriving at 1720 was plenty of time. We had a simple order of a hamburger and the combo plate of ribs, brisket casadia, and chicken casadia. I began asking about the food after 40 min. Told it would be right out. The people in the next booth who arrived 20 min after us got their food and we were still waiting. Finally the food arrived with some story from the wait person that the manager was working to fix the problem but she was not sure what took so long for us to get our food. We did not have enough time to eat our food so she knew we were in a hurry and she brought to go boxes with the food. We ate some and took the rest with us. The chips were great, salsa was runny and not great. The broccoli was good. I guess the hamburger was ok. The ribs were over cooked and dry. The Casadia were dry and not very good. We have been eating at Chili's since the 60's. Could be our last time. read more

Ordered chipotle chicken bowl without the tortilla strips because I have to eat GF. The waitress said "yes, I will make sure to tell the cook you have to eat gluten free". My order came out with the tortilla strips, so I had to make her take it back and fix me a new plate. And as usual service was very slow despite the fact there were only 3 customers in the restaurant. We have been to many Chili's all over Texas and it's always the same. We ordered from there tonight. The steaks were terrible, the salmon was disappointing, grilled Chicken salad was forgettable. Had to use steak sauce to eat the steak, not worth the $20 they charged for it. The only thing we liked was the Roasted street corn, and it had a cardboard after taste. For Sherman this is surprisingly a social hub around the bar area at night mainly and friendly staff and locals that gather and spin stories etc always had a pleasant time and I was informed that they went back to their old recipe for chili but I haven't tried it yet but I will read more

Nothing to write home about! Chili's plays their menu safe, but nothing ever seems to standout. Service is very hit and miss. And the restrooms are usually a wreck. One thing I do like is that the manager will check on you almost every visit. read more

From time to time the service has been so bad, I didn't leave a tip, which is rare for me. In there rush hour times they will be under staffed. In a few instances I had to wait over an hour to eat because it took 25 mins for him to come back after getting the drinks, about 13 mins for the food to get to the table but then had to wait for the over 20 minutes longer because the server said he was gonna bring tortillas. read more

When I walked in no one was at the To Counter I then saw multiple employees pass by the Counter, some going to the kitchen some leaving, at no time was I ever helped or even addressed. Burger-only good thing was the top bun and the tomato. Bottom bun was so overdressed it was soggy-my well done patty was so overcooked you could not even see or taste the cheese. This place has just been kind of ok for the past few years. My daughter and I had dinner there last night. I noticed that everyone in our section who had arrived well after we did was receiving food and we still had none. Our waitress finally came to the table and gave us some story about how their new system switched our order to another table. She somehow knew what my daughter ordered but not what I ordered. I'm fairly certain she just forgot to put our order in. She did tell us we would not be charged for the meal, which was a plus considering we had already been in there almost an hour with no food. She put our order in and finally after about 20 more minutes of waiting our food came. My daughter's was ok. My rice was cold and the salmon was completely raw in the middle. When I told the waitress, her solution was to offer me a free dessert. I declined as I just wanted to get out of there at that point. I left hungry and very disappointed. Worst food ever! Ordered the two meat fajita, beef and chicken. The chicken was okay just bland. The beef was tough as horse meat. The rice was hard and dry. The pepper and onions were almost raw. Totally uncooked. I was shocked. Last time we had the burgers and they were awesome. read more

Hostess so large she can't seat you, and surly when that becomes awkward. Wilted lettuce, hot wings with no sauce, rushed past appetizer order, asked to pay by computer, computer suggests 20% tip for carrying food out, then computer calculates tip on tax. First I want to say Hannah our waitress was the only great part of tonight's meal. I had the fajitas, they were chewy had to cut them in very small pieces to eat them.
