This is probably the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in the past 5 years. I called the restaurant twice only to have the line not even available. I then called the other 2 Chili's in Richmond to see when the happy hour was and both of them said it was until 8pm. So I get there to a restaurant that's not even 1/4 full and wait over 30 minutes to them to then tell me they don't have happy hour. What a disgrace I'm not even going to eat I'm disgusted at the lack of care and feel horrible for the hundreds of people who pulled up only to not even be served because they can't run a fucking establishment in any way read more

Usually when you show up at a restaurant with a large group of people, your expectation should be lowered. Simple because your waitress have to deal with your large party as well as her other tables. However, the waitstaff at this Chili's impressed me. She was constantly at our tables to ensure our drinks were refilled and if we needed anything. In addition, all our orders arrived correctly. So, why just 4 stars? Well...when we arrived, there was a long wait. So, some of us headed to the bar to get a head start on getting plastered. However, the bar was out of some alcohol...making a few of us changing our orders a couple of times. That's just not good! A bar should be well-stocked! read more

Food/drinks took a while to get to us. Steak was undercooked(I like rare). Chips and salsa never offered. Got some to go though

This is a nice tex-mex restaurant. Their table side guacamole is something to try. Its made fresh at your table as you watch. Tortilla chips was very oily and too delicate. Tex-Mex Mexican bowl was really good. I asked a veggie version and they gave a bowl that had a black bean patty instead of chicken. Veggie fajita was good as well. They made our visit a pleasure. Nice place overall. read more

Didn't even get a chance to try the food. We're in town and staying at a hotel across the street. We walked over for dinner only to be shown to the bar area that was COVERED in trash and food. It was like there wasn't any effort to clean the floor at all throughout the day. We walked out without even sitting down. If the floor and tables can't be kept clean, I highly doubt the kitchen is up to par. Absolute disgusted. read more

We were told 10-15 minute, 30 minutes went by before one of our group members went to ask and a girl at the podium said it'll be an hour wait. Pretty disappointed that we waited that long to be told a different time. We understand there's short staff but we should've been told an accurate wait time read more

Awesome. I'm a "special needs" eater (Gluten Free) and often have issues with dining out due to ignorance or just plain stupidity. This place accommodated my diet by giving us a salad that wasn't part of the 2 for $20 special and made sure that I had everything that I needed to eat. Good job Chili's for being informed about Gluten Free dining. read more

Love coming here on dates, and with friends! definitely recommend to others! it's super fun and good food without breaking the bank!!

Lived up to the Chain standards. Good food and a fast takeout was provided. They were not stingy on condiments etc to go.

We must have had something on our forehead that says "don't help us". I don't normally write a bad review, but this place just sucks with service. First, when we walked in, nobody greeted us or anything. Finally a server came up to seat us. Then, about ten minutes goes by and nobody came to take our drink orders or even to tell us to pound sand - nothing. It was a slow evening and there were plenty of servers around, including one filling salt shakers, so it's not as if they were overwhelmed. We just left. Do not go here if you expect service. It's no wonder that chains are going out of business. read more

I haven't been to a Chili's in over 10 years and after this experience I can remember why. I came here for a friend's birthday and ordered a glass of wine immediately after I sat down. It took a little longer than I thought it would but our waitress was nice about it. I ordered the chicken and shrimp fajitas with the rice and beans. It was extremely disappointing. I was expecting the flavors to be bold or at least existent - they weren't. My entire dish tasted like nothing had been seasoned and my beans were more juice than beans if you can imagine that. I definitely won't be back at a Chili's for at least another 10 years or ever. read more

So a girlfriend of mine & I went to this chili's for an early lunch today & we received the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Comparable to the location in Midlo as well. I ordered a steak/mash/broccoli/shrimp combo & she ordered an app. The steak was BLOODY & not thoroughly cooked as requested. The manager came over and offered to recook it & did I want to eat the rest of it while I wait??!! There was blood spewed on the mash and broccoli. No thank you. My friends requested NO cheese on her sliders. There was cheese on it. The short of it, we left. Will not be returning to any other chili's, EVER. read more

Arrived at the restaurant w/ a party of eight. I was told the wait was 15-20 mins. That 15-20 mins took damn near 1 hour. Big kicker for me......my party and I were waiting for one FUCKING chair and management wanted to split a party of eight, because of ONE FUCKING chair. Mind you, there was a table for six that had a party of three. It took me to bring that to the hostess (x2) and the manager. WTF did I miss. Not happy with the lack of common sense displayed nor did management apologize for seriously making a party of eight wait 40 minutes pass the given time for ABSOLUTELY nothing. Will never patronize at this location ever again. That is all. read more

If you have a person with visual impairment, don't come here. Their new lighting is dim and not adjustable. The chili recipe has changed too, and not for the better. It was too thick, like a blob of meat. I used to enjoy coming here, but their choices of late have diminished my interest as much as the poor lighting. read more

I ate dinner at the Glen Allen, VA Chili's on 7/17/19 - Food was ok and the service was ok at first but the server (Ashlynn) seemed to be in a hurry for me to leave (I sat in the bar) - offered me a to go box when I wasn't halfway through my meal. So I took the box, ate some more and put the rest of the food in the to go box for my lunch tomorrow. I had a little less than half my meal and about 1/3 of my large beer left. I ran to the rest room for about a minute to wipe my shirt and they cleared my table. SUCKS! When I came back they came out with a container - said they held it for me even though they cleared my table because they thought I'd left. I didn't want it after they dug it out from wherever. Anyway, for whatever reason they seemed to be in a hurry for me to leave so I'll be sure not to go back. I tip well, their loss. read more

Usually I love this place. My husband and I come here a few times a month. This time, not so good. We were sat and we watched servers and hosts walking around, joking, and laughing for 15 minutes. One server even made eye contact with me. The host that sat us walked by us quite a few times. No one said anything to us and we were just on our phones at this point. We ended up going to casa grande and got our food before anyone acknowledged our presence at chili's. As a former server, I can say firsthand that this should never happen. read more

Their restaurant is almost empty, and they have people on a 25 minute wait!!!! Apparently, people have failed to come into work. Horrible management. No wonder all the restaurants VCC are closing. Won't be back. read more

Everyone was nice. The drinks were good and the food was better. Would come again and will. Only problem is that the host was a rude jerk but he only sat us. A momentary problem. read more

Chili's - Looks clean and cute - Bars Near Me - Glen Allen, Virginia

my boyfriend and i come here a lot and i can't complain. the food is always great and the service is too. the bathrooms aren't always the tidiest but it's tolerable. i like this place a lot read more

Wonderful service. Food was really good and service was amazing! Waitress (Kasey) made sure we had everything that we needed and more!

Rating is not for the food but for the service.. we ordered starters and main course for 4 ppl. The waiter got the starter out and when we are having our starter itself they just came up with main course and tried to move things around the table to keep that.. we have to rush and finish the starters just to make room.. I've never seen a restaurant where we have to accommodate the convenience of the waiter and eat accordingly.. after main course is finished we asked them to clear the table and ordered desserts.. to our surprise the waiter asked us to stake the dishes and move it to the end of the table.. I've never had such an experience anywhere.. we are still in shock about the our experience in Chillis today.. I really hope the management take some action to correct this.. read more

I ordered food for delivery and I had two steaks one for me and one for my brother. That's besides the point. The point is both steaks were overcooked as hell, I ordered medium rare and I got a loaf of beef jerky. A dried up well done piece of meat that didn't even carry that much flavor. You can guess why I'm mad. The best part is it was $60. For sure quality food *sarcasm*. For the chefs that work there, LEARN TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEDIUM RARE AND WELL DONE! ITS NOT THAT HARD! read more

The service was amazing, but the food was completely inedible. My chicken was so dry that I could barely cut into it and my mom's steak fajitas took a minute of chewing to get down. I would suggest steering clear of this place until they get a new cook. read more

Ok.....now I'm not a chain restaurant girl at all. My friends practically dragged me here and I was very reluctant. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This place looks like it's freshly renovated and looks nothing like some of the other outdated, greasy chain restaurants I've seen. Our waiter rocked (we sat in the bar area) and never had to be asked to refill our drinks or didn't disappear for long periods. I enjoyed the presentation of the nachos. The reason it loses stars is there was some food inconsistencies. One of my friends had very crunchy fries while the other had regular fries. The broccoli that came on my plate was falling into pieces it was so steamed, while my friends was crunchy and barely cooked. Stay consistent Chilis! Ribs were great, my buffalo chicken patty on my sandwich was a bit too oversized, and our cookie dessert was great. I won't be making this a regular spot but I've definitely changed by mind about this being a bad place. read more

Food was average... service was lousy. The place wasn't extremely busy yet it took over 30 mins to get two burgers and an appetizer to our table. That was the last we saw of our waitress until it was time to pay. Idk if they were short staffed or what but we spent way too much time there outside of our me read more

This is a good, solid location of this venerable chain. Nothing great, but not too bad either.

Sadly, this restaurant has closed - the end of an era. Chili's (and really, this Chili's) was the only large chain restaurant I was willing to dine in... and now it is gone. Farewell, old friend, you will be missed. read more

Ate here to celebrate my moms birthday as well as mine since there pretty close together. The staff is pleasant and the food is great. They have a good variety of food so there's a little of everything for everyone. Additionally, their margaritas are a must have. Happy hour house margaritas are 4.99. The raspberry is to die for (on the rocks or frozen). The Cajun chicken pasta is good as is the ranch chicken quesadillas. Texas fries are yummy too as an app. Well be returning in the future for sure. read more

See all

Ok, it's a chain, so it will never get a full 5 stars, but this place is pretty good. Never swamped, pretty accommodating. Bartender is real friendly. It's basically your standard chili's fare. What is important at places like chains is the staff and the service, and they do a pretty good job. read more

Wasn't in a hurry for lunch, so I just walked into the bar for a salad. Clean and about half full, mostly local workers, nice diverse group. Food looked great coming out of the kitchen and no overheard mention of slow or timeliness on orders. Bartender was great and moved food and drinks chatting with everyone as she served. Served my drink quickly and checked on me twice to take my food order. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken salad and it was huge. Overall good experience for a Friday afternoon lunch. read more

Food was good. Consistent with quality and presentation. Service was great from hostess to waiter. One of the best experiences with this chain that I've had. read more

Was planning on coming to this restaurant with a party of 10 so I called ahead to see if they tool call ahead seating. They did so I called an hour and a half before out arrival and our table was ready. Our waiter was AMAZING (especially to handle our party of 10). Food was great and it is highly recommended! read more

We entered to an empty lobby and had to wait for a hostess to show up and seat us. What started out as a questionable decision ended up a very nice experience. Our server was helpful, engaging without being pushy and knew her menu well. I wish I could remember her name, because she is a great asset to them. Our food was yummy, coursed well and dessert was put of this world. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great experience. read more

I enjoy all their food that I have ordered, but especially the salsa. Service has been great, too.

Good service and prices. Friendly staff. Typical chain menu. Seems that the prices for margaritas are getting awfully high.

I am REALLY impressed with the changes they have made to this Chilis over the past 6 mos. Looks really fresh, clean and trendy for a chain restaurant. Jay was our sever (2 adults and 2 teens) and did an awesome job! Never had to ask for a refill or anything, he had it all covered. Food service was fast and as always really good. Love all the new choices and substitutions are never an issue. Can't ask for any better service tonight. read more

Worst experience...rude attendant...unattractive environment...served wrong food and was too late to serve that.

The food tasted alright but every time we go to this Chipotle...we end up with diarrhea. My wife and I ate at the same spot and both get diarrhea at the same time. This spot has had problems in the past. Years ago, I witnessed someone touch a dog and then handle food without washing their hands. The leadership just doesn't get it. read more

LOVE this place, my family and I have been going here for the longest time! We're always satisfied with out experience...the food is amazing (we often order nachos, burgers, and fajitas: all delicious, cooked well and very flavorful), the service is great, and the wait time for the food is never too long. read more

If I would give this place 0 stars I would. food is always cold, staff is rude and the managers are not helpful nor caring. I was sat near the kitchen and just heard the servers gossiping about another server the entire time. I didn't come to be in a high-school environment I came to enjoy a meal and couldn't even do that because it was cold and wrong. I have given this place too many chances. 3 strikes you are officially out Chilis in Glenn Allen. Buh-bye read more
