Was traveling through the area recently and thought I'd give this place a try since it was the…read morehighest rated restaurant nearby. The four out of five stars that it has is clearly not because of their burgers. Quite underwhelming. For $14 I thought I might get possibly two slices of tomato and two pieces of cheese, one on each patty, or even a special bun, but looks like they're doing some cost cutting. I gave it an extra star because the sweet potato tots were pretty good but the burger is 2/5 stars. It's sort of compares to a Hardee's six dollar burger, but with that one, you get more cheese and toppings. The place itself looks like it could hold a lot of people and the bar looked well stocked, a place to maybe watch a game and have a beer.

Kregger's Tap and Table has ample outdoor seating; about one-third of it is covered. Because it was…read moresuch a hot evening, we spent time surveying the outdoor area. While we found a shaded table with a nice breeze outdoors, the chairs were wet and the table was tilted, so we ultimately opted to dine inside. Inside, a band was setting up for music later in the evening, and they boast a large selection of beers on tap. Despite the indoor area being almost full, we were waited on quickly, and our food arrived promptly. For my main course, I had a classic burger (normally served with cheese). Since I prefer no pink, I ordered it without any pink element, which was great as it kept the flavor clean. The exterior had a nice char that added depth to the flavor. The burger was served with thick slices of tomato, onion, and lettuce, a small amount of mustard, and on the side were jalapeno and hot dill pickles. The seasoned fries were very good, though they were slightly too salty for my taste (I'm not a big salt person). If you need to limit your sodium intake, I suggest skipping the seasoned fries. My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna Tacos, which were delicious and beautifully encrested. While she found the coating flavor was unusual with tuna initially, adding lime juice made it perfect. When I tried a piece, we noticed that the tuna might have been cooked on the same surface as my burger, picking up some of the char, which added an interesting element. Overall, the service was excellent throughout, and both our meals were enjoyable and served hot and quickly. The atmosphere is lively, filled with customers enjoying the music. We didn't stay for the band (which I'm sure would have enhanced the mood), but we noted that the outdoor tables are quieter and suitable for families--though this might change later in the evening. This spot is perfect whether you're looking for a quick meal or an enjoyable evening with live music.

We tried the chip shot (chips with salsa verde and queso dips), pizzas, and wings (Korean bbq and spicy Asian). I wasn't a fan of the queso, it was room temperature, had a weird consistency, and no flavor. The wings were pretty good and literally were falling off of the bone. The pizza was excellent! I ordered cheese pizza and added provolone and queso fresco. I definitely wasn't expecting the pizza to be that good so it was a nice surprise. A dj was also playing a mix of house/90's hits that we enjoyed as well. Our bartender was super sweet and did a great job taking our orders, remembering our modifications, and checking on us! My sister and I visited with my niece (my sister's daughter) and it's a cute local place. They were having a daddy daughter event for Valentines Day on one side of the restaurant and it was adorable to watch. We ordered the garlic knots to share and they were really good. I got the Italian sub with onion rings and my sister got the pesto tortellini with shrimp. The menu is weird because there aren't any prices on it. Due to that fact, my sister asked the waitress before ordering the cost of her dish. She was told $13. She was surprised to get such a low cost with the shrimp on the dish but went ahead and ordered it cause it seemed like a good deal. When we got the bill, it was about $21 plus we believe the waitress didn't properly split the cost of the garlic knots but we didn't realize it till after we had gone home and double checked our bills. Finally, I ordered a chicken parm sandwich to go for my husband to eat before he headed to work. The bag I was given was taped shut so I didn't check but when we got home, we didn't get the onion rings we ordered for him. The attention to detail seems to be lacking at this place even if it did have overall good food.

Bartender was probably the busiest staff member, and he ran his bar efficiently, and with a smile. Overall the place just had a good, friendly vibe. If I have a critique, and I do, it's that the ranch served with the wings is pretty bad. I'm a bit of a ranch snob, and I didn't dip after the first wing. The brussel sprouts, however, were fantastic. Crispy without being burnt. Not too much Parmesan or balsamic glaze. The location isn't in my usual area, but I'll likely be back for a game, a beer from the absurd selection, but maybe I'll go blue cheese with my wings next time around...
