We had dinner here after a long day of travel. I think everyone enjoyed their food. They got philly cheesesteak, fajitas and a burger. I got a chipotle bowl. Well Chilis used to be one of our go to places to grab dinner . We have tried it 3 times since Covid and all 3 times have been horrible . Short staffed, seating in the bar area only. Enchilada soup was alway a favorite with the southwest soup . On two different occasions the southwest soup was horrible , it tastes scorched and taste nothing-like it should have . Today we tried the southwest soup again and it was over powered with chili powder, salt and scorched . My spouse had the chili and once again. It was Extremely salty and black in color . Usually came here because they were cooking so well but tonight has sucked as my steak was pink in the middle and we asked to be burnt and even told them to cut it to check it to see if done because I don't want no pink at all. Then my husband came out completely raw on one side of steak and medium on the other side. Whoever the cook was didn't know how to cook steaks. And no taste to the steaks. Absolutely awful. This is the second time that my wife and I attend and leave. Last time they brought us the entire wrong order when we tasted it and figured that it wasn't the flavors we had asked for and told them, they took the wings and gave them to the table across the way. This time we stood at the podium for 10 minutes before anybody acknowledged to see us. Then, after we waited another 10 minutes before anybody came to the table to acknowledge we were there. Absolute awful service. What is worse we come often for weeks at a time with my team to work at TVA, we will continue to tell everyone to not eat here. read more

My review is actually closer to a 3.5 as I had no real issues with my meal or the service. It was a totally adequate lunch stop. I primarily opted for Chili's because the parking lot didn't look overpacked and the ads for their new burger menu looked pretty good. I think I remembered the ad a tad incorrectly as I thought the burgers were in the $6.95 range for lunch. They're actually closer to 10 and 11 bucks though you can get a basic "old timer" (w/ or w/o cheese) for 8.50 or so. I opted for that which was served with fries on a platter. The burger was pretty good---the toppings were fresh, the thick cut pickles delicious, the beef juicy, the cheese tasty and the bun toasted and not soggy. The beef is a tad on the greasy side as each bit left a trail of grease on my chin but it was tasty. The fries were not bad but lacked something (crispiness, spice). Service was friendly and fast, I was in and out for lunch in less than 35 minutes for less than 10 bucks. read more

Absolutely the worst restaurant in Gallatin! I came to pickup my order and was greeted with nothing but "I don't know where your order is at" and "are you sure your at the right chilies". When I proceeded to show them the pickup order on my phone they then told me "we are sorry but we can't anything about it " I understand mistakes happen but at least check who is picking up the food and make sure People are getting the service they need when they pay for it. Chasity is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered at a restaurant. It took her 1/12 to put together two apps. Everybody that was there she messed up their order. She calls the customers "honey" when there is a problem. And no she is not a little old lady she's a incompetent child who needs to go and learn some manners DO NOT ORDER ON LINE BC U CANT GET A REFUND they cooked my sisters food then 1 hr later they cooked mine. Just found out that Lindsay Kelley doesn't work there anymore. VERY disappointed. She was so helpful and kind and always went above and beyond to help customers. I've seen her help tables that weren't even in her section because she's such a team player. I don't know what happened, but management obviously screwed up by letting her get away. This location has the worst manager for customer service that I have ever encountered. Last night my daughter graduated. We decided to go to Chili's in Gallatin. I had my in-laws and family with me (party of 10). Walked away n and place had no wait and 8 tables empty at the time. We asked to be seated in 4 booths to accommodate the party After asking if there were tables we could put together. They said gives us 10 mins to clean. 10 mins later we walked in and seen they were seating another party that came in after us at tables they pushed together. We didn't say anything as we proceeded to the 4 scattered tables we noticed 4 more booths but they were together. I asked if i Could help clean those tables off and we would sit there. After 10 more minutes went By and us hanging and tables still not cleaned and seeing groups of waitresses standing around I approached and said can I help so we can get these tables clean ( I had 4 -70 year olds with us and a lady in wheelchair) because In-laws were just standing in middle of restaurant while this wait is going on. Then by my surprise the waitresses said they didn't know no one communicated with them....at this point I'm upset so asked for the manager....manager during a busy time was hanging in back and high in my opinion needed to be on her floor coaching and directing. She comes out and now tells me she only had 1 waitress over there....I stated there is only 1 person that 1 waitress was helping and why couldn't the waitress available just walk to our section. Then she said they were turning people away they were so busy then it was not enough cooks then it was an associate died that day.....the thing was we were already being seated we just wanted to move 2 seats away from where we were so we could be together. Long story short she finally seated us after 30 mins of back and forth and waiting then told us we couldn't be served for 10-15 more minutes til it was waitresses shift .......as well e sat there we seen multiple parties come and go and we still had not been served....after we were literally the last people to leave restaurant and waited 2 hours for food I asked to be compensated some way shape or form and manger refused. I then asked for District Managers number and instead of manager coming to give it to me the To Go lady did while groups of waitressss and manager stood in back watching and giggling as we got up to leave a girl in back was sneaking pictures log us being funny I guess. So then we left and as we were saying good by to each other in parking lot a employee runs up to door opens in and yells out oh my God.....meaning we are still there. i Have worked retail management for over 20 years , I would not take any excuses from this staff this was the most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered anywhere. I would look at your reviews at this location and really take charge. This review has nothing to do with the food or service I have read about, but the reviews I have read go hand in hand with my experience with this Chili's in Gallatin. I did work for this Chili's on January 14, 2012, this is being written on May 10, 2021. This particular restaurant doesn't like to pay their bills. I have sent the restaurant numerous emails which I know they have opened, I have sent the restaurant letters, I have even sent the CEO of the company a letter explaining the past due email hoping that might shake some things loose but NOPE. This location has left me no choice but to have my attorney put them in collections or I may simply go to the restaurant and retrieve the equipment I installed. Can't seem to get any response from anyone associated with this company so I'll let my attorney take care of it. read more

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. We walked in and there was two other gentleman waiting to be seated and were told a half an hour. It wasn't even busy and they were tables. I don't think the staff working had much motivation. We just came in to have drinks and there was just two of us. We sit at the bar and we're probably seated for five minutes and weren't even acknowledged. There was a pregnant girl did clean off some dirty dishes as we were sitting down and didn't even say anything. My husband said something about good timing because there was only two seats at the bar. She just kind of scolded him. I thought as she thinks working in a restaurant is hard wait until she has the baby. I would not waste my time or money here. So we brought our business elsewhere. Since when did this place start allowing people to bring their dogs inside the restaurant? I got it, if a dog is wearing their service dog vest then they have the right and need to be in there with their human. I had the Smokehouse Platter w/ brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, barbecue chicken, French fries (delicious), and corn on the cob (AWESOME). I really wanted to give this Chili's a higher rating, because it really was a mixed bag of good and bad. Unlike many other reviewers, we had no problems with the service. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and efficient. And our Southwest Eggroll appetizer was great. But they always are. Then we got the drinks. The Margaritas were very good, but my wife's Cosmopolitan was not well made at all. She thinks it had way too much Triple-Sec, but she didn't like it. And as I've mentioned before, she tends to judge a restaurant by its Cosmos. We went to Chili's because I was in the mood for Fajitas. I had the Chicken/Carnitas combo, and they were very, very good. I love the way it looks, the sound of the sizzle, and the aroma coming off the pan. But I was the only one happy with my dinner. My wife's tacos were stone cold by the time she got them. My son's steak was very underdone for him. I like a very rare stake, but he's more civilized than I am. My daughter was very disappointed with her Margherita Flatbread. It was downright soggy. Seriously, why would they do that? She is a vegetarian, and Chili's does not have many vegetarian-friendly menu items. The Margherita Flatbread has always been her go-to at Chili's, and this experience may just guarantee that we'll never be back. And I will sure miss those fajitas. read more

From some of the other reviews I am in the minority. There was a hostess last night and she was very friendly. As it turns out my server was also very friendly. I ordered the Southern Smokehouse burger and asked them to substitute the Texas Cheese fries. No problem. The Southern Smokehouse burger is a nice burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, garlic mayo, and onion petals. It was overcooked but still very good. It comes with a side of BBQ sauce. The Texas Cheese fires come in a cast iron skillet with cheese, jalapenos, bacon, green onions, and ranch dressing - very good. Overall good service and good food. read more

It has been a while since we have eaten at this location and now I remember why. They like to say they 'team serve' you, but what they really mean is no one serves you. Every time we have been to this location there is a problem. Always poor service. The manager is unfamiliar with how Foursquare check in specials work and basically accused me of checking in twice (how?) to earn my 3rd visit free dessert. In addition, this visit my burger was overcooked (I asked for medium, it was medium well) and found a hair in my fries. Lastly, I planned to order the chocolate peanut butter molten lava cake, then the waitress informed me she was allergic to peanuts so I would have to pay BEFORE I ate dessert! This is not how I would expect this to be handled. Please save yourself time and money and drive on by this location. Go the Hendersonville location instead! read more

My wife and I have dined at this location a few times as it is close to home, but each time was a terrible experience. Very disappointing. The food was undercooked and the staff didn't seem to care. I ordered the cajun chicken pasta and the chicken was cold, almost still frozen. Went back a few weeks later, got the steak faitas and the steak was barely cooked. This time, I politely notified the waitress. She didn't apologize, took my plate away and brought back in the same way, still very undercooked. I didn't touch it.
