Local chain with a very loc feel. Went with a group of seven, service was quick! Plus for that. All of the food was fresh, albeit very mid. If you are looking for a step above a national chain, give this place a try. I didn't try any of the drinks but the bar was well stocked. The staff might need a few more training days. Some of the, if not, the worst food we've ever had at a restaurant. This was on the standard of school lunch room food and possibly worse than that. We got the blackened chicken pasta and the spaghetti with meatballs. Would not recommend either. The sauce on the blackened chicken pasta was so split and "chunky/curdled" looking and the oil in the plate was awful. It was so salty you couldn't eat it even if, everything else was okay. The chicken wasn't blackened at all. The sauce on the spaghetti tasted like your standard off brand store bought sauce out of a can. The meatballs. Worst mushy texture I've ever had from a place. We come here pretty often maybe twice a month and tonight was a huge disappointment. I ordered the lasagna and it was just awful. I really don't know how to describe it other than yucky and very unappealing to look at or smell. Also ordered the spinach dip and the small bowl wasn't even half full of spinach and it was barely warm and hardly any cheese mixed in. Just a very disappointing experience tonight. Spent 2+ hours for dinner. Went 25 minutes without ANYONE called to be seated. Once we were seated and placed our order another 20 minutes before the food came out. If you're in the mood for lasagna or spaghetti this is NOT the place. My grilled shrimp was so so at the best. We went there for lunch 05/09/25 and got there at 11:00 am. The service was great. The building wasn't maintained very well. There was a lot of visual wear and aged finish but it was very clean. Our server was great. She was very sweet and checked on us regularly. I ordered house lasagna full size and my wife ordered the Mexican spaghetti full size. We were both surprised that the full size was like a lunch size. My lasagna was poor. It had a plain tomato sauce, slight amount of cheese, and minimal meat sauce. It was about an inch thick. My wife said her Mexican spaghetti hardly had any sauce and a small portion. I'm used to thick, cheesy, meaty, and great Italian sauce lasagne and a serving size that's too big to eat. The salad and soup were very good. I'd pay a little more for the good old Italian food I love. We will not be going back unless we hear things have improved significantly. read more

We first dined here about 2008 or 2009 It may have been the downtown location. I don't remember to be honest. Over the years we took local friends and out of town guests here to enjoy the meal. Recently though we have been going to the Hendersonville location and to be honest the quality is not as good as it used to be and the service is lacking also. I used to visit the downtown location every time I was in Nashville. It was always a place my friends and I looked forward to eating at. The food, service and atmosphere did not disappoint. This place is a solid, average place to get food. Nothing was five stars, but nothing was 2 stars. I had the grilled salad and requested to add the listed steak, but it wasn't available. Instead, i added the chicken, which was cooked perfectly and very moist. The menu stated it had green peppers, and I was expecting grilled Ortega or pablano peppers, but it was diced green bell pepper. I don't think anything was grilled except the add-on chicken. The spaghetti and lasagna were "ok," according to my hubby and daughter. The bread was good, but some of it wasn't cooked all the way. Our server Hannah was super friendly and checked on us often. Other staff members refilled our waters and took away finished plates. It seems like a well run restaurant. The only weird thing is they have these registers up front, but you don't check in there or check out there. I'm guessing it's for take out. The noodles were so dry looked/tasted like they came out of the box :-( Either get some chefs here or change the menu. Italian food is not what this tastes like! I was very disappointed in the meal tonight. It is not as good as it was pre-Covid. The menu changed as far as what you get when you order a meal. In the past a ribeye came with a salad a side and an order of spaghetti of your choice. Not anymore. as long as you do both, I hate it. I've got a whole pile of them sitting on my counter at home. Demos is our go to place when we want to take a road trip just 5 hours away. The food is always good and the Service is excellent never have had a problem. The chicken and rice soup I could eat till I'm full and I have done that before. All you can eat soup and salad just hold the salad. And the blackened chicken is my favorite pasta. Fettuccine noodles with lots of chicken and a creamy sauce with their seasoning on top it is so good.Don't forget the sweet tea before Covid you use to get a little pitcher of their sugar syrup and you could put in as much or as little as you wanted. But now they just bring you sweet tea. Those good old days will be back. In the past month we have been here twice and Murfreesboro twice so that tells you how good they are. I have always always always loved this wonderful restaurant! I have eaten at 3 of their locations over the years (hate that downtown is closed now!) and their food is so wonderful every time. The bread is simply perfect. The ranch dressing that they make is just phenomenal. (Try dipping that bread into the ranch!) THE SOUP! The chicken soup. It's what every chicken soup ever should taste like. It could probably heal any ailment that calls for a chicken soup. They have so many great food options for your meal as well and the menu is huge. I love that you can order pasta as a side dish with your steak or chicken or whatever meat. I often get a steak or the grilled chicken meals with a side of pasta and Alfredo or marinara. The blackened chicken pasta is a great creamy pasta dish if you're eyeing something like that. It's got just the right amount of kick! Tonight my family ordered food online for pick up to bring home. We ordered 4 meals and according to the website, it would only take 20 minutes until we could get it via curbside. It was ready on time! Still hot when we got it home, too. Everything was so delicious! My parents both got the giant ribeyes and they said it was the best, most tender steak they have had in a very long time. I had grilled chicken and a side of pasta with marinara. My son had the kids spaghetti. We got salads and soups and extra bread and y'all, it was all just wonderful! My only complaint for this particular visit is that one of our steaks was supposed to have an upcharged addition of mushrooms on the steak and it was not included. I cannot wait to eat here again! Decent little restaurant. Nothing overly special. We enjoyed our meal but wouldn't go out of our way to go back. Our order: Club steak (teres major cut) Jim's famous spinach Chicken rice soup Sirloin medallions Homemade hash browns Chicken rice soup The good: Soup is pretty darn good and served with fresh warm rolls was easily the star of the meal. Steaks were seasoned well but under cooked. Wife ordered medallions specifically so she could get medium well with very little pink and they were obviously more medium rare. And the teres major cut of beef is thicker on one end than the other so I had a mix of well done, medium, and rare when I ordered medium. The sides were just okay. Nothing special about the hash browns. And the "famous" spinach was just cooked spinach with some Parmesan cheese mixed in. Definitely not worth the $1.19 up charge for sides. Everything was edible but when the starter course is better than the entree you really can't say it was a special meal. read more
