It's the same one that was formerly known as Keegan's. There's a mix of Irish flags and sports memorabilia covering the walls. A lot of the guys here will be drinking beers. There's a few on tap including of course Guinness. It's about $6 for a basic cocktail. There's plenty to choose from beyond Jameson. Has no food. They let you bring in stuff. Going here is kind of a throwback experience. It's actually a lot cleaner than it used to be when it was like how dank and dusty bars used to be around here. We came in and waited to be greeted by the hostess. Maybe 10 minutes passed and 2-3 other groups also came in before we saw the hostess and she had the sourest attitude I've seen that wasn't a snotty teenager arguing with their mom. The tables were so close together and booths tight that multiple groups had to adjust chairs or add chairs to a booth to be able to fit their group of 4 comfortably. Tables were left dirty & covered with dishes - two tables we're left uncleared for the entire 2+ hours we were there until the hostess with the horrific attitude cleared one glass at a time with a truly horrible look on her face. At one point when the hostess was walking back to the front from the kitchen, a young child (maybe 3-4) was politely walking to her table and the hostess said something to the effect of "get out of my way" - to a toddler, behaving perfectly reasonably and the hostess wasn't even carrying anything that might topple over. Our waitress was not much better than the hostess. While she was mostly pleasant, after 45 minutes we had to flag her down to ask where our appetizer was and she apologized before bringing it out 10 minutes or so later. It wasn't so busy that the kitchen was behind - I think she just forgot to put the order in or the kitchen forgot to fire it. We had placed our dinner order at the same time, and that came out shortly after the appetizer for 3 of the 4 of us. The 4th member of the party had to wait 10 minutes or so for her chicken wrap to come out. Flagging down our waitress for the check was also a challenge. She would disappear for long stretches of time. Service was truly appalling and we were there for over 2.5 hours for what we had expected would be a quick and delicious dinner. I won't go back.

We kept getting our conversation interrupted by the bar tender whose name was Val. We were talking about old navy and she interrupted our convo and started being fatphobic about the sizes they offered "why do they have so many sizes, it's wild, who even wears that size" and when my by chimed in about how inclusive they are and how some people need it and, she started putting her foot in her mouth and tripping over her words, strike one. My boy friend then stated to talk to another patron in he bar and she kept interrupting their conversation and making it about her and her bf, but the thing is no one was talking to her once again, the patron ended up leaving after the 3rd interruption, strike 2. This final strike caused us to leave the bar and we won't ever be coming back. We were once again having a conversation, without her and she come up to us and loudly called us "Ladies" in front of everyone, this is after I had already introduced him as my boyfriend. He corrected her and I also corrected her and she just stood there with a stupid blank expression over her face like she didn't hear what we said. She then tried to give a half ass apology about her being drunk/tipsy and she didn't mean any harm by it, but the damage was done. She was obviously off of some drug or something because she couldn't sit still and she kept twitching. She never apologized and we left right after. After being a patron of this bar for over 2 years, I expected more respect or just common decency. It is soooooo unsafe and dangerous to be so unaware, especially with the political landscape of the city being what it is. She is able to go on with her life and it's not a good look for the bar and I will not be returning and telling my friends to also not return to the bar. Her behavior was beyond unacceptable and not be returning.
