I came in on my birthday for lunch and a drink. Got the food but not the drink because the bar is really small...and there were people occupying seats already. I also witnessed a customer leave. The customer was dining in and was waiting for the waitress to come and take their order but that didn't happen. The waitress told the customer she forgot about them and continued to do what she was doing...The customer left. I over heard the waitress tell the other customers at the bar "They'll be alright". That was questionable customer service. I will definitely go back for the food....As for dining in....I'm not sure about it. read more

I will not support a business that passively disrespects me and assumes that my time is unimportant. I ordered food online. Came in 25mins later. I told the host ( older light skin lady with braids ) my name for the order... she said that it would be a few more minutes. Cool...me and my son went outside and sat at their tables to wait. We waited for about 10 more minutes and then went back in again to see if our order was ready. The same host came up. I reminded her of my name and she saw it was ready. Right as she turned to go get my food from the back, another lady came in behind me. The host stopped and asked the lady behind me if she had an order placed already which was no... the host then stopped short of going to get my food so she can start taking the lady's order behind me. If you know I've been waiting longer and I was in front of the lady that just came in, why not say " give me second to get her order bc she's been waiting and I'll come take your order". Duh... Thats not only common sense but common courtesy as well. The guy that was working there saw what she did and was like I'll go get her order. That host knew I had been waiting there for my order and knew that the lady came in behind me; however, she treated me like I was unimportant or my time was unimportant. No thanks. Right before the holiday we did an online order the day before for an 80 wing tray ($138.00). The next day an hour or so before pick up I called to confirm and was told they had no such order on system despite the money being withdrawn. So after and back & forth the order was eventually found but also meant my order was not ready so I ended up waiting an additional hour or 2 which as you can imagine sucked. The restaurant was clean and appeared to have a full bar although it bothered me a bit that the food menu there had no listed pricing which kinda gives the feel that they change them at will... By far the prettiest Harold's Chicken I have ever visited. I almost didn't go inside thinking it was something else. From floor to ceiling, someone thought of all of the little details. Beautiful space for dining, high tables by the windows and a fully functional bar. They also rent out this venue. I ordered ten wings with mild sauce and black pepper. This is definitely the nicest Harold's I've seen. It's an upgraded, dine-in restaurant, that the server comes to your table. The service, food and ambiance were all great. There's also a bar that looked quite active. The music they played was the best...smooth yet upbeat. I stopped in after work to treat myself to a pre birthday treat to myself. The vibe is cool. Nice lighting and hip hop music playing. Big screens table seating as well as a bar. I doubted the drink being strong enough for me but it was gooooooooood. lol! I saved my appetite and ordered 6 wings with salt pepper and mild sauce. Coleslaw was a must. I'm sure we've all had Harold's and this new one is good but finish reading. The service was incredible and the mixologist, Davita was AMAZING!!!! The Long Island I chose was based on a recommendation, I thought it was good but weak. It was this day that I learned the difference between a bartender and a mixologist. I was gone.... After one drink. But back to the food. It was fried perfectly, delicious and great flavor.... But it wasn't hot!!!! We waited a while for the food so I was convinced it was going to be hot out the grease. Nope! Also, I was with my daughters and my nephew and the whole restaurant is 21 and older. I've been 3 times - 2 times eating in the restaurant and 1 time to go. The food is very good and fresh. The portion size is large. The drinks see strong if you eat at the restaurant. However, every time the service is slow. Most recently, I placed an order online. When I arrived in the restaurant during my scheduled pick up time, I was told they were out of one of the menu items and that it would take 10 minutes for my food. I was told twenty minutes. I was ready in twelve minutes. The chicken was old, and the fries were older, and the food was not hot. The sauce was invisible. I was so hungry and disappointed. Food is good every time. Can take a little long due to low staffing I'd assume, but it's always worth the wait.

Avoid this place at all costs. If I could give 0 stars I would. While the atmosphere was nice, my husband and wanted to try the place out because we had never been. First we waited for about 35 minutes for the food to be prepared, essentially for fast food is a long time, but that wasn't even the biggest problem. Once we received our food, it was bug infested. We had barely touched it and returned it uneaten. I have never experienced such disgust at a restaurant in my life. When we returned the food to the cook, he advised us it was pepper we were seeing, not bugs. Refused to refund our money and said he just didn't believe that there were bugs in the food. I will be reporting this place to the health department. Disgusting!!! read more

My first and last time going here. I ordered 5 wing lunch special for carry out. When I tell you I was shocked when I got home--I am not exaggerating. They gave me 13 fries!!! Are you kidding me? Is there a potato shortage or something? And not sure if the cook is a 12-year-old because I am not sure what experienced cook would put the fries on TOP OF THE CHICKEN! I was floored when I saw it.
