There are many times where it is crowded and they do not get people seated right away and the food is really good and it fills you up good too. It's very clean and professional. They get your order correct 99% of the time. The bathrooms are an okay clean type of thing. There is very little wait for your food but there is an occasional wait. Been to this location between 2-4pm (dead time) 3 times within the last 2 weeks. All 3 times there were less than 15 customers in the entire place and none of which were seated at the bar. We were told the first time that they were at capacity and it would be a 30 minute wait.. And that we could not sit at the bar and just have drinks, though no one was sitting there at all and there was actually only 12 people in the restaurant! The second time they said their kitchen was behind and it would be 45 minutes before we could be seated, again no one at the bar, less than 15 people and couldn't sit and have a couple beers! The 3rd time, there were 4 tables in the ENTIRE restaurant, no one at the bar, 4 staff members sitting at a table near the bar, and the hostess told us they had an hour wait because of reservations!!! Really?. At 2:45pm in the afternoon?? And the whole place is basically empty??!!! Again, no bar.. I'm curious who the hell runs this place!! Pathetic!! Taking COVID into consideration, it makes this place even more ridiculous!!! They weren't NEAR capacity and turning people away that were content to just sit at the bar and have drinks until they place food orders!! I guess all the employees sitting on their ass don't feel like pouring two beers!! We will likely never return and will be sharing this information with multiple people in the area!! COVID evidently didn't hurt this place because they seem to be content with having no business and paying a bunch of lazy staff to sit around!! I would really give 2.5 stars. No surprises here at a chain restaurant. BUT I must say, I really really hate those pay kiosk things. SO FILTHY. The wait staff is fine; but why leave a 20% tip if they can't be bothered to take care out the bill or anything? I will probably go again but not often. read more

I understand that the restaurant just opened and I was looking forward to it as I love Chili's. I order the chicken crispers and my husband a chicken sandwich. We got the chips and salsa and the chips were extremely salty as well as our fries, we sent them back. The corn had to much pepper on it, I couldn't eat it and the crispers were not very good. However, as we were leaving, Danielle was saying goodbye and to have a good day and the manager came up to her and yelled at her and gave her attitude for not doing something in the back. I've been there 5 times now. Food is pretty good but definitely not as good as other Chili's I've been to. Their real failing is their service speed. The first times I went I was understanding that they just opened so it might take a little longer but now it's getting ridiculous. Don't say you need another minute to decide because you won't see your server for another 15 minutes. My parents went and it took almost an hour and a half to get their order...which was wrong! And most times I've gone I don't see the server for at least 20 minutes after they've dropped the food off. I highly suggest they retrain their staff read more

This place was absolutely horrible! We walked in and I wasn't even greeted by the hostesses their was 4 of them standing there. Once we approached then they asked if we wanted to sit and then bar and asked if I was over 21 I responded yes I'm over 21 but I would like a booth. I got asked to have a seat while the booth was cleaned 10 min later I was asked again what my age was and if I wanted to sit at the bar! I replied no thank you I'm still waiting for my booth. Waited another 5 min and still was not seated! Keep in mind there was no wait and we could see that 3-4 booths were opened and clean but for what ever reason we couldn't be seated! Terrible! Half the restaurant has dirty tables waiting to be cleaned off. Service is extremely slow. Not sure if waiter was incompetent or waiting for bartender to make drinks but either way extremely slow and understaffed. Need to hire bus boys to clean tables and floors. Meals were brought out and one person was left waiting for their meal and another person was brought a burger and told the fries will be out shortly. They came at the end of the meal. Who serves food like this? There are many other restaurants in the Dekalb / Sycamore area with higher quality food and way between service. Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

It's Chili's, can't really go wrong. The place is pretty new and I think the service we received reflected that. Our waitress was very nice, but she did forget some items, which wasn't particularly an issue, but overall the food was good and we had a steak cooked to order correctly. Got there at 5 no problem getting a seat. Had not been to a Chili's in a number of years store had been totally redone. Updated menu for food and drinks. Had the Steak & Shrimp fajitas, guacamole Burger, tenders with fries, bacon burger and cheddar bites for an appetizer, and a kid's tenders meal. Fajitas were served with four tortillas which gave you plenty to eat with everything piled on with it with a side of cheese guacamole sour cream and tomatoes. All of the chicken tenders were real white meat chicken and very tender and juicy with a nice breading crisp but not over done. Burgers piled-high cooked to medium rare very juicy served with fries excellent choice. Wait staff very attentive and took care of the kids at the table with us quickly and efficiently. Dinner for four and a half $68.25 And no cocktails not a bad deal. Only drawback is layout of restaurant floor that allows cold air with the doors open to push through in the middle of the restaurant where guests are sitting. read more
