So we came here for Father's Day , was greeted by a very nice lady . Took our seats ordered drinks and a young man with red curly hair with glasses brought our drinks to us . Now my wife ordered a coke while I ordered a sprite . So before he put the drinks down on the table he was kinda shaking mine , so when he walked away I looked down into my drink and there was little black whatever floating in my drink ? I told the waitress and she with No problem replaced the drink . So once we received our food which was good ( we got the Fajitas for 2 ) our waitress asked if we wanted Hot sauce and I replied yes , please . She never brought the Hot sauce so I ended up asking another waiter for it in which he did . ( the hot sauce bottle looked very old ) ( ewwww ) so again we finish our meal the waitress then asked if we wanted a take out box for the little amount that was left in which I replied No ! Guess what ? She still brought a to go box ?? They also tried to charge us $ 3.00 for Guacamole we never received ! She was also working the bar which only had 1 person sitting there . I have never gotten bad food from Chilis so not sure if it was because the order was for carry-out they just throw whatever in the box? Decided to come by Chili's on Saturday as they opened as my mom wanted some mother daughter time and typically enjoys the food here. I had the 6oz steak with loaded fries and broccoli while she had the full rack of ribs with shrimp, mac and cheese, and Cole slaw. Upon arriving the gentleman host was not to inviting and seemed irritated to be at work. The waitress however, saved the day for us to even consider staying and not going elsewhere. She was friendly, helpful, and just had a great overall personality. The gentleman assisting her with bring out food and clearing plates as also a delight. I am giving 3 stars for this visit as one was subtracted due to the host and the other one was due to some issues with the food. First my broccoli is supposed to come with my meal steamed and was definitely still hard and not even wet to make it seamed like it was teamed. My moms ribs were also overcooked and hard to get off the bone. Overall, you get what you pay for and the establishments you come to. read more

Came with my mom and sister for a little girls day. Service was terrible. Our waitress spent all her time flirting with these dudes sitting at the bar. Asked her for refill and she acted like we were inconveniencing her. Like girl, ain't this your job tf. Food wasn't great either. Everything was cold and overall wasn't good. The chips and salsa are fantastic with their own brand of very thin chips and tasty salsa, add some guacamole its yummmm. Ribs are meaty and cooked just right, watch out though sometimes they get skimpy on the sauce!! I like lots on mine. They offer other items, all good like chicken, shrimp , pasta etc. Apps are tasty, though a bit over priced- imo. Margaritas, spot on. Try their Blackberry. Beer is always cold. Service is always above average. Join their Club and get rewards and free chips and salsa with every order. Next time you are hungry or just feel like some chill drinks check this place out!! One person can make an enormous difference in a restaurant kitchen. This person would be the manager John. Our meals were perfectly cooked to the correct protein temperature (salmon, chicken, and shrimp). I asked John why the ribs were usually dry. There is a particular way to reheat the ribs, so they are moist. Then he sent me home with a few properly prepared ribs that were to die for. Also, they cooked my wife's salmon perfectly! I love this chain. We enjoy the soup & salad specials. The freshly made chips are super thin and wonderful. The salsa is excellent. You can sit at the bar and catch a game or have date night in the dining room. The soups are yummy. The server was attentive and kind. Today around 5:30 -6:00pm my juvenile son and I wanted to have dinner, he chose. After waiting a considerable time after ordering our food (steak fijitas and triple dipper), I set my timer on my IPhone. We waited 29min 41 sec not to include the additional time we had previously sat prior to our orders arriving which were wrong. I failed to mention it took a while for the drinks to arrival prior to stating our order as well. I explained my complaint with a manager who was understanding and wanted to comp the meal. I explained to her it wasn't about the money but the awful service. She advised she would correct the missing items from my son's order. As we sat and waited more time lapsed and I became more agitated with noticing people who came in after us receiving their orders. This coupled with my son's food getting colder was it for me. I requested for the same manager to come over again but she never appeared. After making additional requests to serval other servers the actual restaurant manager came over. I explained the situation to him and advised I just wanted to settle up and leave his restaurant. He said we were fine and took care of the bill. Neither my son or late any of the meals. Throughout this ordeal the waitress hardly checked on us which I can only attribute to her noticing my visual disgust with the matter. Again it's not about the money but the quality of service when someone spends their hard earned money. So in the end after 7:30 I had to resort to buying my son Wendy's for dinner. If I could put zero stars I would. We were recently kicked out of this restaurant because our just turned one year old was screeching a little while he was eating food. Patrons told the manager and they approached us asking if there is anything they can get the baby to keep him quiet. We said he is 1 what are we supposed to do?!? So we told him to bag our food which wasn't out yet and paid and left. The waiter was on point but as a family restaurant I would not recommend. These places are LOUDER on a Sunday afternoon during football and I bet not one person complains about that. Very poor management and very poor way to approach the situation. I truly love Chilli's. I do. But I don't know what happened to the customer service they had a few months ago. Waiters are not nice and the "To go" are doesn't even have a place to sit and wait. I went today to get some "to go" food. First, there was no one around, the register was empty; a waiter saw me from very far away and left. I walked inside where the bar is and another waiter saw me; she went to the register and just looked at me without saying anything! She clicked something on the computer and then looked at me again; I asked: is this the to go area? And she said Yeah...I asked for a menu and she pointed some flyers on the other side of the room. At this point I was getting upset, I went to get the menu and ordered the sirloin. I asked: can I include chips please? And she said: they're not for free, they're $3.99.. At this point I was angry and I told her ok added them. I paid $19 for a cold piece of sirloin, some weird mash potatoes that made me sick (they tasted like if they were old, like when the milk has gone bad) literally 3 pieces of broccoli, and chips. Not planning to coming back to Chilli's in Culpeper, the managers really need to look on this reviews! PS: oh and I waited 20 minutes for the food btw! Husband & I stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner on 1/11. Arrived around 4:30 p.m. to a completely empty dining room - just a couple of people sitting at the bar. Were seated immediately, but had to wait a bit for our waitress to show - sort of odd since the place was empty. Soft drinks were brought right away, but our order took a lot longer than we would have figured, the place still being empty & all. Regardless of time, husband's "Margarita Chicken" was delicious. An extremely tasty, juicy, grilled boneless/skinless marinated chicken breast served on a bed of black beans & rice, topped with a spoonful of Pice de Gallo. I'll definitely be thinking of ordering that next time!! I was in a sandwich mood & ordered the little cheeseburger sliders - & boy were they "little" - lol! About 2 bites each, & thus on the dry side. Must be hard to keep 2" diameter burgers juicy. Don't think I'll be revisiting these. Fries were typical & fine. So all in all, an okay meal for a reasonable price. Just order judiciously. I don't have the bill in front of me, but it was in line with other chains - Ruby Tuesday, Applebees, Glory Days, etc., etc. The menu just has more of a TexMex flair than the others. read more

3 of my friends and I were eating at chili's earlier tonight. WORST SERVICE EVER. Our server, Theresa only came to our table about 3 times. She also was very rude to both me and my female friend but she wanted to be best friends with our men. I asked for sour cream 3 times and never got it so I had to ask another server. Our drinks took 20 mins and another at least 15 to get straws and silver wear. It was plain and obvious she was being rude strictly because another server has a problem with us. She sat down at a table with that server multiple times while whispering in her ear and continuously avoiding our table. Chili's was not busy at all and we were her only table. Management really needs to step up their game and hire servers who actually know how to serve. read more

QUICK SUMMARY- Our server, Herschel, was amazing. The sweet fries were amazing. I'd visit this location again. __________________________________________ I need to preface this review by saying that I have visited a Chili's restaurant about a dozen times(and I usually am not impressed), but this was my first visit to this location. My husband suggested we stop here for lunch during our usual weekly shopping trip and I reluctantly agreed. Chili's has always been the epitome of "average" to me and just not worth the calories I'd have to burn off and the cash my hubby would have to spend. ORDERING- We visited on Sunday afternoon(6-22-2014). It was not busy. We were greeted within a few seconds of arriving and waited about a minute for a table in the dining room to be prepared by the hostess. After being seating we waited about a minute for our server, Herschel, to take our drink order. He asked if we had been to this Chili's before and he explained that the interior has recently been remodeled. He was genuinely cheerful and informative without sounding like he was giving a rehearsed spiel; it just felt like he was making pleasant conversation. If we returned, I feel like he'd remember us. THE MEAL- We got the special: Pick an appetizer and 2 entrees from a selection for $20. Sounded perfect. We ordered the tostada chips & salsa app, I got the 6oz. sirloin with broccoli and sweet potato fries, and Hubby got the honey chipotle chicken crispers with fries and corn on the cob; both came with a piece of texas toast. We waited about 20 minutes for our food to arrive. Hubby loves the chips and salsa but I just pick at them. The chips are slightly warm, which I like, and the salsa is cold, which I don't like, but this salsa is much better than at other Chili's I've been to. It's usually too watery and chunky, but this was well blended. I tried my sweet potato fries first and I nearly finished them before I even started in on my steak. They were incredibly delicious! The perfect balance of sweet and salty, crisp and tender. I would come back just to order these fries! My steak was cooked to the temperature I asked (Medium) and was well flavored and tender. The broccoli seemed to be from fresh (not frozen like some chains serve)and were cooked well, but didn't have any seasoning. Overall a lovely meal that made me glad Hubby had chosen it. It was a good portion of food; I did have a little leftover, but didn't feel stuffed. I commented to Herschel that "the fries are bangin' " and he relayed that to the chef who appreciated my comment. Herschel added that the chefs had just been retrained on the fries to make them better, so I'm glad to have been able to give positive feedback. Hubby liked his selections as well. I did try his honey chipotle crispers but the sauce was a bit too acrid for me. It tasted like it had a raw pepper flavor more than a sultry, smoky pepper flavor. It wasn't bad, just not my taste. He liked them just fine. ETC- The restrooms were clean and well-appointed. There was a touch-screen automated menu available at our table (Hubby had heard about this being a new feature at Chilis) and it also had games, but I kept making Hubby use my Pocket-Bac hand sanitizer every time he touched it, LOL. I didn't dare touch it. I admit to being a bit of a germ-a-phobe (I wash after touching the menu and don't touch the tabletop at restaurants, but it kinda grossed me out to think that all of you people who don't wash your hands before a meal had touched it and I don't know how/when Chili's sanitizes those things, so NO THANKS to table-side touch screens for me (neat idea though). read more
