    Menu of burgers

Tried to kill me. Been a vegetarian for 30 years. Ordered a burger and subbed the meat patty for veggie patty... or so I thought. It showed up and I was suspicious but since the menu / server didn't specify which kind of veggie patty it was so I thought okay to proceed. I looked at it and smelled it but still wasn't sure. Was it an impossible? Hmm. I took and bite and immediately knew! Meat! F'ing bleep! I spit it out and flagged down my server. VEGETARIANS BEWARE. See photo of very obvious veggie patty in photo. Ugh, I'm so mad and upset about this.

Chili was decent though slightly watery. The cheese & tortilla strip topping was nice. There was a lot of beef in it. They don't list the cup of chili but we got one (it's really quite small). Crispers were good. They were flavourful even without any sauce. The fries were good, with a savoury bite. The coleslaw was good though sweet (YMMV). The ranch sauce was so so though. Service was good, and this place is cheaper than Flames, which has pretty similar food.

Our flight was canceled and we need to find a place for dinner and this is the only place that we found! Our waitress was very helpful and attentive, which made our dinner that much more pleasant! We ordered the steak fajitas to share and when the food came, it was a large platter of food, the beef was very tender!

While in Calgary we had time to kill and we're hungry so we opted to grab some lunch at Chili's. We were seated right away. The menu here is very limited on what they offer but it is still enough of the classics that we were all able to find something to enjoy. My girls both opted for kids cheese quesadillas, I ordered the bacon ranch quesadillas, and my husband got the American burger. The food came out fast and was really good and filling. We would stop by again if at the Calgary Airport again.

Always a good choice when you're in the airport. We went to Chili's during our layover. I ordered a delicious burger thanks to the recommendation of our awesome server. I also got a side of their special sauce which was delicious with the fries and a super fun coronita Cesar to celebrate being back in Canada. Even though it was busy and the restaurant was packed, we were able to find chairs and get food super fast! Very impressed with this well oiled machine. The only thing I find it to be a little pricey but as are all airport restaurants and shops.

Service was quick, prices were reasonable for airport. Meal was quite satisfying, or possibly because we were starving. Mushroom Swiss Burger was enjoyable, though they can only cook the beef medium well. Chili was nothing special, but decent.

    Quesadilla Xplosion Salad with shrimp

There were lots of seating in the dining area, but it was nearly full when we got there at 4 pm. The service was prompt, courteous, and thoughtful. The server made great recommendations, refilled our water, and offered me more dressing for my salad. We were in transit from London, UK (limited fresh veggies there), and the Quesadilla Xplosion Salads (one with shrimp, one with chicken) really hit the spot for us. At first, I thought the price was a bit steep @ $19.50 each, but the size of the salads were substantial (possibly feed two for a lighter meal) and the cheese quesadilla rounded out the meal. Both salads were fresh and tasty, and we left full without feeling bogged down.

I fly out of Calgary Airport quite often and I pass by Chili's all the time. The last time I was at Chilli's before this visit was back when I was in Houston TX at Galleria Mall. I got the mushroom burger here and it came with fries. The burger was slightly dry but it was tasty. The fries were not bad either. Portion size was pretty good. Also the burger smelt very MMmmmm when it arrived. I did find the service slightly slow especially when people could be in a rush to catch their plane. This place is self seating. It can be a bit frustration when walking around trying to find a seat and someone who came after you happened to find one before you.

Potato salad. Receipt behind the bowl, you need it to complete a survey.

I'm more lenient when it comes to airport restaurant reviews, I just feel they are never as good as what you would find in the city. Having said that, Chili's does live to my expectations and surpasses it a tiny bit. They had someone checking for vaccination proof and we were seated shortly after. I'm not sure if this applies to everyone, we completed a survey and received a free appetizer on the house. The food came out pretty quickly, good portions and the taste was okay (a little on the salty end but edible). I'm giving this place four stars because none of the staff messed up, food was hot, and service was great. There was a huge line up after we left around 9pm though, so get a spot fast!

Just arrived and walked by for a quick bite. Quick service and the food was pretty decent. Price was decent too. Will be back before we leave.

    Price difference in the fries.

Arrived at this location at around midnight from Salt Lake City and on my way to Montreal. Ordered a super nice glass of the Marcus James Malbec out of TX (5/5) and some hot fries(4/5) ! Service was good and attentive ...but I noticed a price difference from the menu and my actual charge .... (1/5) Hopefully they will update the menu or charge CORRECTLY in the future.

There's usually a great deal of variation between one visit and the next... even within one visit... That being said, when it's good its EXCELLENT and when it's bad its like "where am I and what is this place?". Let's call it the YYC lounge lottery for now.. Huge bonus points for the sophisticated and complete gluten free menu. I've been glutarded from a very young age and have often found myself sidelined to a salad bar while everyone else feasts on whatever delicious things they want.. This restaurant is a progressive one (in the dietary sense). Service is good. Sometimes. Other times its just awful. Again with the lottery. Luck is a fickle mistress. Now my pet peeve that is consistent across all my visits here (dozens and dozens of visits): This hotel has a large business traveler component. That includes me, and my associates. Every time I check into the Delta (with its itty bitty rooms), the last thing one wants to do is sit in your cramped room all night with your laptop and various electronic devices that are corporate necessities. Far more preferable would be to go down to the YYC lounge and have a few drinks and eat, and work on some tasks on your laptop/ipad/tablet/cell phone.. BUT, the management here seems to have completely overlooked the fact that these devices need electricity.. There isn't a single electric outlet to be found., So after a long flight, with your devices all discharged, you either have to sit right at the bar (often fully occupied), or sit and wait for a full charge in your room before you can come down and relax. This is HIGHLY inconvenient.. When I asked them why they mumbled something about "safety". Puleezee, wake up and smell the 2014.. Starbucks and coffee shops and Denny's and all sorts of restaurants world wide that are with the times often have many outlets available to customers.. So if you're going to lie, at least lie convincingly. I know it may seem like a simple thing, but when you're exhausted and just want to chillax in a lounge, the last thing you want to be worrying about constantly is how you're going to keep your devices charged (for whatever reason you're using them).. To sum it up, nothing I've mentioned here is a deal breaker. I will continue flying through YYC and stay at the Delta and drink at the YYC lounge at night.. I just want to say it like it is and point out that just like the aging and decaying YYC airport, this lounge could stand to get with the times as well. PS: Try the chicken wings, they rock

Fries were fresh and not over-salted. The burger did NOT disappoint- it had loads of bacon, cheese and was delicious. I ordered side gravy for my fries. They were pretty quick with our orders and did not mind us catching up for longer than we probably should have while at a restaurant. That being said, the food just wasn't on par. Over our stay we tried multiple items (only got a picture of a couple of dishes though): Seafood pasta - great menu item, but bland Soup of the day - every night it was tomato bisque. We would have loved some variety Eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon (Double) - what else is there to say, pretty standard. Nothing special Oatmeal - Horribly bland and no accompaniments Buffalo Chicken Naan Bread - the chicken was fried which we didn't particularly care for and that too the oil tasted old giving that bitter taste. Had they used maybe the butter chicken instead, I think it would have been so much better Sweet Chili Cauliflower Bites - We actually enjoyed this one! No complaints Grilled Chicken Alfredo - bland and flavorless Tonic Butter Chicken with tofu sub - decent Primavera Frittata - bland It's like the chef is allergic to salt or something. Almost nothing was seasoned right. I will say, we were also not fans of how limited the breakfast options are for hotel guests and the fact that there wasn't anything that we could grab and go for mornings we had to leave early for a day trip. It felt like quite the disadvantage for paying guests. It would have at least been nice to have bagels and cream cheese if nothing else!
