Great service. How ever due to the location in the airport the food is very pricey. Opens early which is a bonus for us with an early flight. Ordered two breakfast and two beers, 2 sandwiches and water for our flight. All in came to $80.33 There are two locations within the airport domestic and international. We arrived we were the only ones, soon after the restaurant was packed!! Inside is very clean We love chilis and this is the only location in Calgary is at the airport. Tried to kill me. Been a vegetarian for 30 years. Ordered a burger and subbed the meat patty for veggie patty... or so I thought. It showed up and I was suspicious but since the menu / server didn't specify which kind of veggie patty it was so I thought okay to proceed. I looked at it and smelled it but still wasn't sure. Chili was decent though slightly watery. The cheese & tortilla strip topping was nice. There was a lot of beef in it. They don't list the cup of chili but we got one (it's really quite small). Crispers were good. They were flavourful even without any sauce. The fries were good, with a savoury bite. The coleslaw was good though sweet (YMMV). The ranch sauce was so so though. What the actual.... Eggs benny came with completely raw eggs and then when I returned the food I get what you see in the picture. Overdone eggs, burnt muffin and is that even ham?? $20 for this. Doesn't come with hash browns, just a small cup of fruit with the equivelant of 3 blackberries, 3 grapes, and 1 large strawberry cut up. I have never been so disappointed over a meal. Our flight was canceled and we need to find a place for dinner and this is the only place that we found! Our waitress was very helpful and attentive, which made our dinner that much more pleasant! I'm usually lenient on airport eatery reviews but did not have to be for our lunch on May 23 in the wing of WestJet of the Calgary Airport. Efficient service was provided for lunch around 1:30 pm during our layover. We were fortunate to snag the last three stools at the bar. The nice gal who was attending the bar, offered us beverages and answered questions about the menu right away. I ordered the soup, side Caesar salad and garlic bread. It was simple enough of an order and I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this trio! The taste was spot on! I now like this location more than the Chili's I've frequented in Chandler. AZ and two in Southern California. I don't know what it was but I am still remembering how yummy the lunch and the delicious buttery garlic bread was! Go figure! read more

I recently had a brief layover at the Calgary airport, and it was SO crowded in the airport and at all the gates in the terminal, and I was SO wiped out from not getting any sleep the night before my early morning flights, I decided to hang out at this Chili's for 90 minutes or so, just to decompress. I wasn't hungry (it was about 10 am and I had eaten a turkey wrap on the first leg of my journey), but I really needed to sit and rest (especially since I'd been crammed into gates and terminals and my first flight with a ton of people, in close proximity, for the past 6 hours). I was impressed with the menu in that they serve breakfast all day, and they had a decent selection of Bloody Caesars and mimosas, all day (thank the good lord lol). I ordered their smallest side salad and a classic Bloody Caesar. The salad was okay. Some of the lettuce leaves were on their last day (not brown, but on the cusp of yellow to brown), but it was tasty and a decent size for a side salad. The classic Caesar was okay. They didn't have the traditional celery stalk (as depicted in the menu photo) but instead used a tall, picked asparagus stalk as the garnish. A tad on the spicy side but pretty good, all in all. The server was rarely around, so when it was time to pay, when she didn't return, I went to the bar counter and the bartender had to ring me up and deal with the payment transaction. Also, another issue I had pertained to the restaurant fixtures and cleanliness. My booth along the wall and other booth seating had large tears in the pleather upholstery. These rips were very noticeable. And at my table, the ketchup bottle had ketchup all over the lid. Little details like this, along with the oft-absent server, attributed to my 3-star average review. But the food and the beverages were pretty decent, albeit nothing special. read more

While in Calgary we had time to kill and we're hungry so we opted to grab some lunch at Chili's. We were seated right away. The menu here is very limited on what they offer but it is still enough of the classics that we were all able to find something to enjoy. My girls both opted for kids cheese quesadillas, I ordered the bacon ranch quesadillas, and my husband got the American burger. The food came out fast and was really good and filling. Always a good choice when you're in the airport. We went to Chili's during our layover. I ordered a delicious burger thanks to the recommendation of our awesome server. I also got a side of their special sauce which was delicious with the fries and a super fun coronita Cesar to celebrate being back in Canada. Even though it was busy and the restaurant was packed, we were able to find chairs and get food super fast! Very impressed with this well oiled machine. There were lots of seating in the dining area, but it was nearly full when we got there at 4 pm. The service was prompt, courteous, and thoughtful. The server made great recommendations, refilled our water, and offered me more dressing for my salad. We were in transit from London, UK (limited fresh veggies there), and the Quesadilla Xplosion Salads (one with shrimp, one with chicken) really hit the spot for us. At first, I thought the price was a bit steep @ $19.50 each, but the size of the salads were substantial (possibly feed two for a lighter meal) and the cheese quesadilla rounded out the meal. I fly out of Calgary Airport quite often and I pass by Chili's all the time. The last time I was at Chilli's before this visit was back when I was in Houston TX at Galleria Mall. I got the mushroom burger here and it came with fries. The burger was slightly dry but it was tasty. The fries were not bad either. Portion size was pretty good. Also the burger smelt very MMmmmm when it arrived. I did find the service slightly slow especially when people could be in a rush to catch their plane. This place is self seating. It can be a bit frustration when walking around trying to find a seat and someone who came after you happened to find one before you. read more

I'm more lenient when it comes to airport restaurant reviews, I just feel they are never as good as what you would find in the city. Having said that, Chili's does live to my expectations and surpasses it a tiny bit. They had someone checking for vaccination proof and we were seated shortly after. I'm not sure if this applies to everyone, we completed a survey and received a free appetizer on the house. The food came out pretty quickly, good portions and the taste was okay (a little on the salty end but edible). I'm giving this place four stars because none of the staff messed up, food was hot, and service was great. There was a huge line up after we left around 9pm though, so get a spot fast! read more

On my way back from toronto I stopped by this chilis for a quick breakfast. (Food:) I ordered the STEAK AND EGGS which came with home fries, 2 eggs, 4 pieces of toast and a steak. The steak was a bit small, but decent for the price. The only issue was that although we ordered the steak medium rare, it came out well. However! The manager came over to talk to us and apologized after we mentioned it to the server. This made a huge difference to us for our overall meal experience. (Service:) Amazing service. The manager was good to have stopped by to rectify the issue and he told us he would talk to the kitchen staff for next time. He also gave us a discount for our trouble. Stopped here on a layover flight to Toronto, you have to seat yourself. However, my service was fast, a decently nice waitress. I ordered the old timer with cheese, had fries for my side and a syrongbow cider. Fries were a bit different, my burger was juicy, literarily speaking. Mouth watering juices flowing down like Niagara Falls, each time I bit into it. You'd almost think with so much juices it would taste like the old man up above, done laid the spatula to this patty himself, however it wasn't flavourful. I'm not sure if any spices are added to the patty when it's being made or if it's store bought pre-made frozen burgers. However, it's my first time here so the next time I'm around I will try the steak, happy eating. I ate at Chili's on the international side and ordered an omelette with sausage. The grease was dripping from the sausage, which was 'chopped up' and placed inside the 'omelette'. The omelette was tasteless and inedible. The butter on the bread was rancid. I sent it all back. They comped the whole thing, including two apple juices, which is worth one star, I suppose. The boss looked as though nothing else would be done to correct the problem; just a blank stare as I described my experience. The food was fit for an unloved dog. Located near Gate C50, Chili's maintains its easy going menu and ambiance. Service is good, menu rather economical for an airport restaurant and plenty of space. I tried the Santa Fe Chicken Salad which comes with crisp tortilla chips, mexican salsa, guacamole, greens and a garlic bread. Everything was fresh. Had standard Mojito or rather a Snu-jito as they have it on the menu. Servers were nice ladies so asked if I was enjoying my meal and promptly served up the drink, food and of course, the bill. I stole my moms vodka and mixed this with a slurpee outside of 7/11". This was the strongest part of the meal. 4.8/5. Next came the side salad. Could have been from Costco. Again, desperation consumes me in this moment. Made existence feel futile. I question whether or not ordering this was worth the sustenance it supplied. I wonder if it supplied sustenance at all. 2/5 FRIES! You can't do this wrong. After my salad, I welcome this warm dish with open arms. Open trachea. Down the hatch. Belief in God is restored. 4.5/5 Fried pickles. This was a mistake. At this point I've had two of the Frozen Long Island Iced Teas. I spit this out immediately. 1/5. Should you eat at this particular Chili's? Well, it's a dilemma, because Calgary's scenic Terminal C is not exactly rolling in dining choices. And the food itself is acceptably edible, particularly if you wash it down with enough day-glo margarita that you are able to ignore the vaguely nauseated afterglow from your meal. Which is why the choice comes down to three factors: How hungry are you? How long is your flight? And do you have an aisle seat? If you're hungry, and you have a short flight, you can chance it. If you're hungry, and you have a long flight, and you *don't* have an aisle seat, you need to think carefully about how many times you're prepared to ask your neighbour to stand up so that you can run -- not walk -- to the airplane bathroom. It wasn't until a few hours after my Chili's meal that my digestive track started the regular, repeated pagings, so happily I was safe at home, and didn't have to bond with the WestJet bathrooms. But I sure feel sorry for any diners who eat at this restaurant before getting into a window seat on a trans- or intercontinental flight. read more

Unfortunately the Calgary airport is lame and this is the only sit down restaurant after security, so I had no choice but to eat here before my 9 hour flight. I didn't really expect much and it ended up being better than expected (back handed compliment?) Our server was super perky and pretty quick. There was a solo man at a table beside us who was very rushed for time and she suggested some meals that would come out more quickly than others and explained that fried things would take longer than, say, a side salad. There are only two things I need from a waitress: a full drink and the ability to pay and leave when I want. This place had neither. I get it- it's an airport. Absolutely unreal and disrespectful restaurant at the Calgary International Airport. A vegetarian burger was ordered and instead was given a full-on beef patty. As well as a vegan rice bowl with salad that contained pieces of meat in it. Will be suing for their carelessness against religion and personal matters. Also could only get a refund for one of the meals and was provided with cash instead of the same payment method used. Manager was not very apologetic and led us to starve as we were short on time to board our flight, including taking my receipt after the refund. Do not recommend. read more

I've eaten here 3 times while at the airport on layovers. The first time everything was good, lots of tasty food at a reasonable price. The second time, I ordered the same thing (Mexican chicken bowl) at the same price but it seemed the portion was significantly smaller. The last visit I ordered the Southwestern Chicken Caesar. The only thing southwestern was the sprinkle of tortilla strips on top and the somewhat-spicy chicken, they forgot the tomatoes. In fact to call it a Caesar salad was a stretch, no bacon (or capers) so basically a bowl of lettuce with dressing, a handful of pre-cooked chopped chicken and a pinch of parmesan and tortilla strips. I ordered the Margarita Grilled Chicken which was a low calorie item, didn't want to feel bloated on the plane. Food quality was below average, the chopped tomato on top of the chicken was really cold so when I bit into it I thought the chicken was raw. The chicken was really small. Way more rice than meat.
