I always use this lounge when I'm at Calgary Airport as it's the best lounge of choice from my credit card's offering. Except for drinks, everything is ordered through a QR code at your seat. There's a great variety of food and the quality is decent. The cocktails are also quite good. It's a very popular lounge and there've been times when it's been full so I recommend prebooking if you can. read more

Loved the lounge, especially because they offered a made-to-order menu. The food was actually delicious. I also appreciated having oat milk available for my coffee, as well as the selection of non-alcoholic beverages. The staff was friendly and cleared tables quickly. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting. It was great to be able to take a breather here during our layover. The only downside was that I wished they had a greater variety of food options. read more

Not the worst lounge I've been to but not the best lounge either. I got in using Priority Pass at the end of the day at 9pm. I do like all the different kinds of seating (tables, lounge chairs, couches, bar, etc) and it was pretty spacious. Also, there's no buffet and you order on your phone which I liked. They had poutine, mushroom soup, grain bowl, beef tacos, penne pasta, raspberry sorbet, and lemon meringue pie. The beef tacos and the mushroom soup were good. Service was inconsistent, some of the employees were nice and some were very rude. The lounge closes at 10:15 PM so you better get out or you will be yelled at haha. read more

3.5 stars. This is the first lounge I've been to that has servers instead of buffet style. I used my Priority Pass to get in. When I first walked in, an employee told me to scan the QR code at my table to order. The website was easy to navigate and use. For food options, they had butter chicken and rice; Thanksgiving meal, which included a slice of turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing; tater tots; desserts like ice cream, carrots cake, raisin tart with ice cream; etc. I ordered the Thanksgiving meal and tater tots. Both were not hot. The slice of turkey tasted fake. I should've tried the butter chicken. They also have a full bar and non-alcoholic drinks, including milk and juice. I got there around 8:30pm and had no trouble finding a table. The table also had plugs. Showers cost extra, but last shower ends at 8:30pm. Bathrooms were clean. The lounge closes at 10:15pm. read more

Yelp Review 2024 #105: First time in Calgary, first time at Elevation Lounge. Flying in Business Class gets you automatic access to this lounge. I've heard non-First/ Business Class passengers complaining about restricting access to this lounge - I get both sides. If you paid at a premium for a flight, you should get automatic access to this lounge (which I did). People on lounge pass access through paying for one, Amex, and those who pay an annual fee for international lounge access are low priority - otherwise, the lounge will be so full and chaotic. So, they're limiting access for a reason! I looked at food options in YYC in case I want to venture out of the lounge but there's nothing good to eat. So, I stayed at Elevation Lounge during my 3-hour layover. It was practically empty on a weekend at noon. The two ladies in front checking my boarding pass were lovely and pleasant. It was a hassle-free process. I easily found myself a table, scanned the QR code on the table to order my food. Non-alcoholic beverages like coffee, hot chocolate, soda, iced tea is self-service. Food, alcohol and specialty drinks are served to you at your table. On the menu, they have small plates (hummus with pita and veggies, pierogi, popcorn, fries), large plates (power bowl, gnocchi, chicken parm), dessert (vanilla ice cream with cookie, and an orange dessert). They have Nestea, Coke products, and all sorts of alcohol. I got hummus with pita and veggies, pierogi, and 2 orders of the chicken parm. You can customize your order whether you want to add/ remove something. The food came within 10 minutes. The servers were always busy but they're nice. Somebody's always cleaning. They have comfortable day beds with side tables where you can charge your electronics. I'm just not sure if the day beds get disinfected so, bring wipes! They have showers. Just let the ladies in front know in order to book it. This lounge is located in the B gates. My flight is at the D gate. You can walk if you want to get your steps in or take the little shuttle. read more

Worst lounge ever for non-WestJet status customers. They have a crazy unfriendly queueing policy. There are 4 lines total: 1. The first line is for WestJet platinum and gold members as well as business class passengers. 2. The second line is for WestJet Silver members. 3. The third line is for people with vouchers. 4. The fourth line is for everybody else, including priority pass members. This is the category I belong to. Now for the crazy part: they don't let anybody in from the second line until the first line is cleared. They don't let anyone in from the third line until the first two are cleared. And lastly, they don't let anyone in from the fourth line until all of the other three lines are cleared. However, at any given point, new people join line 1 and 2 almost constantly. The third line almost never moves - let alone the fourth line. The person who is at the front of the fourth line told me he has been waiting there for 2 hours, because everyone who comes can cut in front of him. That's not even the worst part. The worst part is there are no clear signs explaining this queueing policy. And if you ask the staff any questions, she is super impatient, unfriendly, and grumpy. Recommend avoiding unless you have WestJet Platinum or Gold Status. read more

I normally do not give such low scores, due to there's always positives, however in this case I do not see any redeeming qualities with the exception of being earlier than 3 hour time, which I was ok with to tour the airport before returning. The way my wife and I were treated by a very rude receptionist we will not return, at the least there could have been a welcome, but the tone was not welcoming and sincerely did not feel our presence was wanted, I understand being busy but for all that was in the line there was no excuse to the way all were treated. When In Calgary this is off my list. read more

Came by on our layover to Paris. Clean club. Very busy due to the Christmas Holiday. Service was prompt, nonetheless. Food and drinks can only be ordered via QR code. But, they're on top of it. They were also great about cleaning up. Food was pretty good. The kiddos LOVED the curry. We ordered it 3 times. We also had the spaghetti with meatballs, turkey dinner and soup. ALL delicious. We highly recommend. read more

We went to Elevation about 11:30 am and were able to get in on Priority Pass. The place looked pretty packed. As we didn't have a lot of turn around time before our next flight, we took the first seats we found. I like the lighting and the QR code ordering seems to save a lot of staff time. Woohoo on have non-alcoholic beers. With less time, we got a few snacks to go with the NA beers. Staff were busy delivering food and drink, so not a lot of interaction, but they were nice enough. All in all a pretty good lounge. A little tricky to find as there are no signage and the front door is a bit hidden. read more

Refused access unless I finished my Starbucks coffee, this seems insane. I have been in many lounges with no problem and even this one, I fly 4-10 times a month for the last 10 years and this is the first time my Starbucks coffee wasn't allowed in a lounge, I should stick with air Canada. read more

If you have dragon pass or priority pass, please don't give the workers a hard time! When they say the lounge is full, it is literally full! They allowed westjet members with status in but there was a wait for priority pass and dragon pass members. While I do agree that there needs to be a better system for a line instead of a person trying to remember who was next (like an online waitlist system like other priority pass lounges have), people here are really nice and they really are walking around the lounge trying to figure out if there's space to let others in. We came on a Saturday at around 3, and there were about a 5 group wait. Half an hour in a couple of parties left and we were let in. Yay! Patience is the key! We had two large plates, an appetizer, and two drinks each. The food and drinks were ordered on a QR code and came out pretty quickly. The drinks were yummy! The food was good for lounge food and the appetizer we were a little confused about because we thought there was cheese but maybe not? Overall a good lounge experience even though it's busier than other lounges I've been to. read more

I was able to get three guests in with my Priority Pass from Sapphire Reserve without additional charge, which was great!. Wanted to shower, but they shut that area down around 7-8PM. So plan accordingly if you want to use that amenity. Otherwise there's plenty of seats and the made to order food and cocktails are great. read more

Upon entering the WestJet Elevation Lounge they ask for your boarding pass. You can only enter 3 hours before flight. You have to be a Silver or higher Member to enter for no fee. You can enter if WestJet Member not at those levels can enter for a fee. The lady's at the front were very friendly. We sat down and scanned the menu at the table and ordered drinks and food. Non alcoholic drinks you serve yourself. The food came out within 15 minutes. The atmosphere is very layer back and relaxing. All the staff very friendly really enjoy our stay before our flight. We will definitely be returning. read more

Just... no. Having travelled extensively, I can honestly say this is the worst airport lounge I have ever been in (and I've been in some tired, iffy lounges) The menu is disappointing with extremely limited choices (and not very good ones at that). The ambiance is chaotic and it's extremely noisy. You have to walk past what looks to me like what was once a self service area, but was crowded with staff fetching and running orders. The fountain drinks and coffee is self service which is fine BUT, the ice machine is located at the end of the coffee bar and was out of order and the Diet Coke was merely fizzy water. When I pointed that out to a staff member they said they knew about it and hurried about. While waiting for my travel companion to return from the rest room I sat and watched as servers also bussed tables, grabbing dirty dishes and used napkins to stuff onto an overflowing cart sat right next to the soda station. They would then turn immediately around and pick up orders to take out to tables without any sanitization of their hands! Gross. I mean, it appeared a few of them were working hard while other seemed to just meander. It looks like a make work project to me, because it's completely unnecessary to have SO MANY people when it could easily be a self serve station tended to by half as many people. We wound up leaving and having a bite at a place near our gate which was quieter, appeared cleaner, and had far more choice. read more

Something about this lounge just does it for me. It's spacious with a modern design and not to be funny but it "elevates" above the rest. I've been to lounges that feel crammed and this one is the total opposite. The staff are also very friendly and do a good job at keeping the space clean. They had tasty food options as well from Indian food to pasta for dinner and a nice selection of wines and spirits. My partner has Chase Sapphire Reserve and was able to get me in. I highly recommend if you have this card to check this lounge out. We had about two hours to kill before our flight and the time just flew by being in this lounge. I honestly wish more lounges took note of this one because my experience here was amazing. Hope to be back one day! read more

If it weren't so crowded I could see how awesome this flagship space that Westjet created for their passengers could be. I had a hiccup in my flight and they were able to help me at the welcome desk as well. There are a limited number of options for food by order but they are diverse and they are filling. I'm not sure if that's lingering covid protocol or if the self-service really is gone for good. The lounge is conveniently located just after security and from there you can head to whatever gate you need to get to (except transborder, of course). read more

More impressive vibes than the American Express lounges that I've been to in the US, this West Jet lounge has wait staff instead of a buffet service. Unfortunately the food is not as good as AmEx lounge food and there are fewer options. But free food is free food, and the staff are so kind! To be consistent with the other restaurants I review, I'll give this 3 stars because of the food, but I am 5 stars satisfied with the space as a lounge (ignoring the food). read more

First time in a WestJet Elevation Lounge. I've been to lounges all over the world through my flight status with Delta and now I have joined Priority Pass - and have been in their lounges in North America, the UK, India and Uganda. The two women working the "reception" at the front desk were less than friendly or welcoming. Not impressed, especially compared to those of the other lounges I have been. It seemed like they were quite annoyed with everyone and would have preferred not to be there. I hope this is not case in all of the Elevation Lounges. Perhaps these two women were having a bad day - but this was not a welcoming place. read more

Ridiculous queueing system! One line for all WestJet status customers and the other for all priority pass and others. No QR code or whatever to join waiting list. Even the WestJet status line is empty, they don't let the other line to enter. They would just keep waiting for upcoming walk in customers with WestJet status to go in. We waited for half an hour without any progress, so end up leaving to the gate. Why would they even sign the contract with priority pass if they don't wanna provide the service? read more

Nice lounge with order a la carte options. Plenty of cubbies and coves to sit in. Plenty of power outlets. Showers also available. Food decent and range from apps, mains, dessert. Espresso based coffee, tea, juices, alcohol selection available. Staff is pleasant for the most part. Note the lounge apparently has no air conditioning and can be very hot. read more

The food was decent but limited. Service when ordering was quick but don't expect to eat in. comfort The lounge is incredibly small and seating is even worse. The lounge is similar to a hotel breakfast buffet. Given how packed it is, you're better off eating in a food court because it's not a place that quiet or relaxing read more

First time ever was told they're at capacity and could only allow people who are silver or higher. Agreed to let me in after seeing I had a WestJet Mastercard. I would say it was 65% full? Food/drinks ok, came quickly. Kitchen didn't seem to have any issue with capacity contrary to what they were saying. I miss old WestJet :( read more

Easy checkin, good service, and tasteful food. I fly quite a bit and this lounge is comparable to many top class lounges I have experienced in North America, Asia, and Europe. One suggestion to improve on is not placing limits on how much a member can order. Definitely a first in my life. I am an Amex Platinum customer with Platinum Pro Airline Status (with American Airlines) and many Centurion lounges cannot compete with this lounge. Go and experience for yourself. Don't pay attention to these negative reviews here. read more
