Nice airport lounge located in Terminal E just after duty free, next to the food court. I used my priority pass to access this lounge. The lounge itself is fairly spacious with plenty of seating. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I had a morning flight and they had a fair selection of food items which included egg bites, diced potatoes, sausage patties, bagels/bread, an oatmeal bar, donuts, and a coffee machine. The lounge is clean and there was an attendant who came over to clear plates periodically. The bathrooms are also clean and I even saw a shower stall. Overall, a great place to relax in before a flight or during a layover.

Had a stay here on the way to Narita, Japan. They do have a few lounge chairs where people could lay down. It is pretty crowded. But they have a variety of food, drinks, and alcohol options. The seats do have accessible plugs for devices. They keep the food stocked and the food was very good. I'm sure it changes but definitely made the layover much better and relaxing.

There was a long wait to get in. You have to join a waitlist from a QR code at the entrance. Alternatively, you can make a reservation online for a 9 dollar fee. After 6 PM, the line cleared up and we were finally able to get in. The food is buffet style - 4 hot dishes, multiple cold dishes, and a soup. I would rate most dishes 3 out of 5, with a few 4 out of 5s. The cleaning staff is super friendly and diligent. They take dirty dishes, almost right away. The entire place is spacious and clean.

I used my priority pass membership to visit this lounge and I was impressed with the amount of seating and the nice ambiance! There was no line or wait to get in which is always nice. They had a wide selection of drinks and food available. My only complaint was that they didn't have a good dessert selection haha. The staff were very quick to help and take away dirty dishes.

Great lounge. Lots of space with multiple seating options from tables for dining in groups, lounging chairs, working tables, and even three sleeper chairs in the far back right. The food is standard for aspire lounges nothing amazing but enough to get the job done while waiting for a flight. Service here is great, workers keep everything clean and are very nice.

Surprisingly nice chill lounge in the Calgary international airport in E terminal. I used my priority pass to get in. The service was fast and friendly and easy to check in. Nice real large space with tons of good comfy seating, plenty of tables and work space. The bar is solid with its options, the food options are fewer but hey it's free lounge food and for that it's solid. Would definitely recommend and stop by again when I fly to/thru Calgary

No membership required. You can just purchase access. It's well worth it if you have a long layover but you're limited to 3 hours stay. Small buffet style food bar and a few desserts. Lots of beverage choices including a modest bar. Lots of seating but it does tend to fill up. Bathrooms are undersized for capacity of lounge.

Very large / clean lounge. Everything was self serve and staff was super friendly. Made our trip to the airport very comfortable. One of my better lounge experiences.

Located next to gate E70 for US bound passengers Lounge is very spacious and busy but not overcrowded on a Friday at 11am. Food game is pretty weak as breakfast is still out and it's egg bites, diced fried potatoes, and link pork sausage. Oatmeal, cheese, some cold cut stuff, and egg as are also available. Drink station are self serve starting at 11am with decent but not blow your mind stuff. Only white wine, beer on draft, and hard alcohol seems available. Seats are comfy but there are a lot of different seat options around the lounge. No staff walking around so buss your own area

Had some lounge passes to use in between flights so we checked out Aspire Lounge International. Food is incredibly bland. Two soups (vegetable chili and cheese broccoli) and four hot items (chicken rigatoni, roasted potato, ginger beef and basmati rice). Best thing was the corn salad. Plenty of alcohol to choose from; wines (cheap quality), two Big Rock beers on tap (brown ale and lager) and hard liquor. Washrooms are abysmal. Don't come here if you have to pay the $45.00 fee.

Located in the International terminal of Calgary. This is a very nice lounge with variety of wine (red & white), beers, hard liquor (whisky, Vodka, gin, etc.), juices, teas, coffees and water on tap. I think they covered it all. There are also a wonderful variety of food. Hot soups, rice, meat dish, hot and cold pastas, nuts & chips, cookies, brownies and fruit bowls. It was great! Comfortable seats with TVs and washrooms and showers. Staffs are constantly cleaning up and replenishing the food. Definitely one of the nicer airport lounge I have been to.

Stopped here on my way back from Calgary to SFO. Used my priority pass card for complimentary entrance. When I first entered, the lounge was very busy that it was difficult to find a seat. Within the next 15-30 mins, many customers left opening a lot of the seating area. The food was plentiful with hold and cold sections, and a snack bar. There's also a sleep pod but it was occupied so I didn't get a chance to see it. Overall, very clean lounge. Food was ok but nothing spectacular.

Beautiful lounge with a ton of seating of various sorts, definitely can get packed. The turnover of food was quite efficient for how busy it was. Loved the selection of food and beverages. The bathrooms were clean. Overall enjoyed my experience there!

I'm surprised by the tough reviews for an incredible lounge, hands down in my top 3 priority pass lounges so far.

Continuing the Airport Lounge series of reviews - maybe I should start a Yelp collection on it - we…read morefind ourselves at the Chinook Lounge in YYC. This place goes by a few names it seems. My apps and sites have it as SwissAir Chinook Lounge but it's listed here as Servisair's Lounge. Whatever it is, the word Chinook should basically tell you that it is at YYC. The Chinook is located in the Domestic flight area of Concourse A. If you find yourself lost, just jump on the YYC Link shuttle service and get off at the end/beginning of the track. Walk through to the food court area at A and to your left is a set of stairs up or the elevator to the Chinook Lounge. I was looking forward to the place but it was a bit of a let down. It was warm with the mid-afternoon sun was setting and it was pretty warm inside. The fireplace was also going pretty well. It's ok though, take off the winter layers and stay awhile! Still a bit stuffy though. The food and drinks are located together. I didn't really participate too much in the food and drinks. The food was pretty off putting. Inside the fridge were large containers of pre-made sandwiches. You open the lid, get a pair of unsanitary tongs and lift out the little slivers of bread and fillings. There is a fridge that held cheese and cold cuts if you wanted to put something together. Some spirits were offered. I didn't bother. Open another fridge and there is some salad stuff and a vat of potato salad from a tub. Suffice it to say that I'm going to skip the food. Let's look for a nice pint of beer. There was a single tap and I just didn't want to bother. Sat down at a table, had some veggies and tried to do some pre-work before getting on the flight to YVR. I think the WiFi was non-existent. I had to use the Free-YYC one. I've been to the Maple Leaf Lounge at most of the Canadian airports. In YYC, MLL is far superior to this offering. I was here because I flew WJ and not AC. Also because my status with AMEX and Priority Pass allows me into the place without charge. If I had to pay to be here, it would have been a waste. 2.5 Stars. Probably will fly out of this place on AC when possible. If not, I guess I'll be back here again...hohum... Cheers/Jeers - you pick.

It's a nice place to enjoy a coffee or mixed drink, but otherwise not worth paying. Update: March 2019 Since Westjet took over management of this lounge the food and drink is much better. It's now a great spot to relax before a flight. Increased rating from 2 to 4 stars.

After learning that there is no Maple Leaf Lounge past customs at the Calgary Airport I decided to…read moregive the Rocky Mountain Lounge a try. I had a lot of time to kill so I figured by the time I buy dinner, and a drink at one of the airport restaurants the price would be similar. Plus I would have the added benefit of a quiet atmosphere. I was right on the quiet part. There were only a few people in the lounge so there was plenty of comfy sitting room. However, I was wrong on the food part. They had a very limited selection of foods of sustenance. They had potato bacon soup, which was ok, and some wraps and sandwiches. The sandwiches looked and tasted similar to a pulled pork - but I am not exactly sure. They also had some fresh fruits and veggies - which did not appear fresh at all. The only dip they had to accompany the veggies was packaged Kraft ranch dressing. Overall, the food was disappointing. On the positive side they did have a large assortment of snack items including chips, pretzels, nuts, and cookies. As well as an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Overall the $36 cost is probably worth it if you value quiet, and will be there long enough to take advantage of the drinks and snacks. But if you are looking for a quality meal, this is not the place. If you are an American Express card holder (as well as some other cards/clubs) entry is complimentary.

There are occasionally some rowdies who have paid their way in before a Vegas flight who have no manners or respect for any of the people around them and the lounge attendants don't do anything about it while everyone around are giving them the stink eye which they don't notice because they are oblivious to anybody else except themselves. But I digress. This is a great place to grab a glass of wine and get some work done or even sit back in a comfortable leather chair with a newspaper and just relax. There is always a golf game or some sort of sporting event playing quietly in the background on the tv's through-out and it is nice 'white noise'. You can't get a meal here but they do offer cold sandwiches, fruit, vegetables, cheese and assorted crunchy snacks along with various beverages. I will take it any day!

Ugh I have so many mixed feelings about this place.. I suppose thats in a large part due to the…read moreinconsistency of service and quality between visits.. There's usually a great deal of variation between one visit and the next... even within one visit... That being said, when it's good its EXCELLENT and when it's bad its like "where am I and what is this place?". Let's call it the YYC lounge lottery for now.. Huge bonus points for the sophisticated and complete gluten free menu. I've been glutarded from a very young age and have often found myself sidelined to a salad bar while everyone else feasts on whatever delicious things they want.. This restaurant is a progressive one (in the dietary sense). Service is good. Sometimes. Other times its just awful. Again with the lottery. Luck is a fickle mistress. Now my pet peeve that is consistent across all my visits here (dozens and dozens of visits): This hotel has a large business traveler component. That includes me, and my associates. Every time I check into the Delta (with its itty bitty rooms), the last thing one wants to do is sit in your cramped room all night with your laptop and various electronic devices that are corporate necessities. Far more preferable would be to go down to the YYC lounge and have a few drinks and eat, and work on some tasks on your laptop/ipad/tablet/cell phone.. BUT, the management here seems to have completely overlooked the fact that these devices need electricity.. There isn't a single electric outlet to be found., So after a long flight, with your devices all discharged, you either have to sit right at the bar (often fully occupied), or sit and wait for a full charge in your room before you can come down and relax. This is HIGHLY inconvenient.. When I asked them why they mumbled something about "safety". Puleezee, wake up and smell the 2014.. Starbucks and coffee shops and Denny's and all sorts of restaurants world wide that are with the times often have many outlets available to customers.. So if you're going to lie, at least lie convincingly. I know it may seem like a simple thing, but when you're exhausted and just want to chillax in a lounge, the last thing you want to be worrying about constantly is how you're going to keep your devices charged (for whatever reason you're using them).. To sum it up, nothing I've mentioned here is a deal breaker. I will continue flying through YYC and stay at the Delta and drink at the YYC lounge at night.. I just want to say it like it is and point out that just like the aging and decaying YYC airport, this lounge could stand to get with the times as well. PS: Try the chicken wings, they rock
