I've visited many airport lounges, and this one has some of the nicest seating and décor I've seen. It's spacious, open, and very inviting. They even have a shower room, though I didn't use it. My only real complaint is the food. I was there around noon, and the main dish was beef tacos. Since I don't eat beef--and I know many others don't either--it felt limiting. They did have a bit of chicken mixed into the rice for the tacos, but that was it. I think it would be great if they offered at least two main dish options to accommodate different dietary preferences. Because of that, I ended up sticking to side dishes like mac and cheese, salad, and a few others. On the plus side, the drink selection was excellent, with options like soy milk, V8 vegetable juice, sodas, and more. The bar area was also very nice, and the staff were attentive, quickly clearing plates and keeping the space tidy. Overall, it's a wonderful lounge to relax in, and I'd happily stop here again--I just wish the food had more variety and better flavor. read more

Nice airport lounge located in Terminal E just after duty free, next to the food court. I used my priority pass to access this lounge. The lounge itself is fairly spacious with plenty of seating. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I had a morning flight and they had a fair selection of food items which included egg bites, diced potatoes, sausage patties, bagels/bread, an oatmeal bar, donuts, and a coffee machine. The lounge is clean and there was an attendant who came over to clear plates periodically. The bathrooms are also clean and I even saw a shower stall. Overall, a great place to relax in before a flight or during a layover. read more

Had a stay here on the way to Narita, Japan. They do have a few lounge chairs where people could lay down. It is pretty crowded. But they have a variety of food, drinks, and alcohol options. The seats do have accessible plugs for devices. They keep the food stocked and the food was very good. I'm sure it changes but definitely made the layover much better and relaxing. read more

There was a long wait to get in. You have to join a waitlist from a QR code at the entrance. Alternatively, you can make a reservation online for a 9 dollar fee. After 6 PM, the line cleared up and we were finally able to get in. The food is buffet style - 4 hot dishes, multiple cold dishes, and a soup. I would rate most dishes 3 out of 5, with a few 4 out of 5s. The cleaning staff is super friendly and diligent. They take dirty dishes, almost right away. I used my priority pass membership to visit this lounge and I was impressed with the amount of seating and the nice ambiance! There was no line or wait to get in which is always nice. They had a wide selection of drinks and food available. My only complaint was that they didn't have a good dessert selection haha. Surprisingly nice chill lounge in the Calgary international airport in E terminal. I used my priority pass to get in. The service was fast and friendly and easy to check in. Nice real large space with tons of good comfy seating, plenty of tables and work space. Great lounge with a number of areas to relax before your flight. The Aspire lounge has a number of seating options ranging from working tables, lounging seats in pairs of twos, and larger tables where a larger group can sit. The lounge is very spacious and spread out. The lounge is very clean. The lounge offers a variety of food which satisfies people's needs but the food isn't anything memorable. My personal favorite were the make your own pita station and the soup. Additionally, the lounge had a bloody mary making station which was a nice touch. The staff is very friendly and is regularly walking around clearing your plates and empty glasses. Overall, the lounge is very nice and I hope I can visit this lounge again very soon. In the future, I hope the food options change, but all in all I really enjoyed my time at the lounge. read more

Plenty of alcohol to choose from; wines (cheap quality), two Big Rock beers on tap (brown ale and lager) and hard liquor. Washrooms are abysmal. Located in the International terminal of Calgary. This is a very nice lounge with variety of wine (red & white), beers, hard liquor (whisky, Vodka, gin, etc.), juices, teas, coffees and water on tap. I think they covered it all. There are also a wonderful variety of food. Hot soups, rice, meat dish, hot and cold pastas, nuts & chips, cookies, brownies and fruit bowls. It was great! Stopped here on my way back from Calgary to SFO. Used my priority pass card for complimentary entrance. When I first entered, the lounge was very busy that it was difficult to find a seat. Within the next 15-30 mins, many customers left opening a lot of the seating area. The food was plentiful with hold and cold sections, and a snack bar. There's also a sleep pod but it was occupied so I didn't get a chance to see it. Overall, very clean lounge. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. read more

Hot food options during our visit was mac n cheese, Swedish meatballs, mash potatoes, and veggie chilli. Then basmati rice with ginger beef was added. These were all very tasty and better than the typical cafeteria quality food of some other lounges. Drinks include a self serve selection of liquors, wine, and beer. I enjoyed this a lot as pouring your own beer just felt cool haha. There are some cold food options, desserts, and other sodas/juices as well. You have to wait for a party to leave, but it's no big deal because people are in and out anyway. The lounge seems like it's staffed pretty well. They do a good job picking up plates and utensils when you're finished...but nobody is cleaning or wiping down tables and chairs... good thing I carry Lysol wipes with me to wipe down surfaces. This no-nonsense lounge is specifically for US bound passengers and is located just after security at gate E70. There are no announcements but the gates are located just outside so you can easily listen in which was what we did. Lounge was rather roomy with comfortable seating located near an outlet or two. It also was not terribly crowded where seating is packed in; you are able to put some distance between yourself and another party. OK coffee choices in the morning, I suppose, but it really was just an automated machine. One of the machines was broken. Didn't partake in the food since we had leftover dim sum but there were some options which did include eggs and the like. Bathrooms were clean and a shower was available too. It was too early in the morning, but they appear to have an area reserved for self-pour liquor and a few tap handles for craft beer. I wish they would dedicate this tap handle to a nitro cold brew in the morning. Other than that, it was still a decent enough lounge which beats the main waiting area any day. read more

I have been to so many lounges but I did not like this lounge as much as I thought. They close at 7 PM but by 630 everything is GONE! Staff were not the best. Coffee machine does not work properly and when asked about it, the staff says yes it light, and the other one is in progress for cleaning so not working and did not fix it while we were there. Food was okay, I have had better options elsewhere. The lounge was pretty much full, kind of hard to find places to sit. They have plenty of alcohol options but no bartenders, you make your own drink. They had two soups chili and broccoli cheddar, meat balls, mashed potato, some veggies, and mac and cheese. Out of all these, broccoli cheddar was good. They had pasta salad and corn salad, both not bad. They had some bread options, bagel and some banana but bread and some brownies. The banana bread was good. What was annoying is that everything was gone by 630 without any warning and staff rude when you ask them something. They have a shower, it was one. Apparently the Women's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU) manages this lounge in the morning. US citizens who actually paid attention in history class will understand the reference. No alcohol until 11 AM. Breakfast offerings were ok, not great by any means. The sad pancake machine produced US half dollar (hello JFK but F your screwball nephew!) sized medallions. Make a left u turn after the depressing duty free shop and you can't miss it. Certainly wouldn't pay to come here if I didn't have a Priority Pass card through a premium credit card. And what's with five separate identification checks to board a flight to the US? Get outta here! Easier to fly from MEX to the US. read more

I absolutely love this lounge --if only the rest of them were like this one! I spent over 2 hours here before my flight thanks to my Priority Pass (bless this little card). Also, after a rough experience going through TSA and Customs, this lounge really turned it around for us. The space is very spacious with high ceiling windows providing views of the airplanes boarding and de-boarding. There are even a couple pods in the back for privacy to nap. We were hungry and went straight for the food, which was fully stocked. I saw them constantly refilling the trays of rice, chili, veggies, chicken, salad, breads, snacks, and desserts. There are also cheese, deli meats, and fruits in the refrigerator. The best part is their alcohol and drink selection, which is self-serve and on tap. All of the food was delicious as well and well worth your money even if you had to pay for this lounge. Also, great service from all the employees here making sure the tables were cleared and food was never empty. read more

Three cheers for the Chase Sapphire Reserve Card! Knowing I was traveling from Canada to the US, I should have realized I was going international. I guess keeping my feet on North America, it kinda just slipped, but as I emerged on the other side of the duty-free shop at the Calgary International Airport, it all clicked. Naturally, that drove me to check for any nearby Priority Pass lounges, and low and behold, the Aspire Transborder popped up, and I was right next to it! So I showed my card and was politely informed they'd be closing at 7PM (it was 6:30ish) but that I should make myself comfortable. In the 30 minutes I was there, I had the chance to grab a few drinks, a bite to eat, and a few snacks for the flight home. I sat at a high top, which wasn't the most comfortable, but I did see some nice chairs and sofas, as well as TVs with news from around the world. The lounge has a decent selection of spirits setup in a self-serve style. The bottles have the pour stops on em, so that just means tip twice for a double! I really appreciate this in the lounges, as you can make the drink you want. By the time I got there the food was just about packed up, but I managed to get a few bites of beef over rice and picked up a croissant for the road. Having access to these international lounges is such an incredible perk of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. They charge like $60-$80 per visit, and with the card you can visit any lounge in the network as many times as you like while a cardholder. This card keeps finding ways to pay for itself, and this lounge is just another fine example of how great it is to be part of the Chase family. read more

Also, an espresso/latte/cappuccino machine. They go the extra mile with hot breakfast (scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links), brownies, and charcuterie. Bread bar with pastries and toaster. All food is fresh and top quality. Atmosphere is spacious and quiet. Lots of room to sit or lay, even in mini private rooms. Very comfortable furniture. You can truly lounge in front of the TVs. It's modern decorated and immaculately clean. We only stayed 20 minutes but wish we could have lingered. I highly recommend this lounge. read more

As a priority pass member, I'm constantly searching for lounges at airports to see how it's like, what they serve, and if I can chill there. This was such a delightful lounge located on the left right after you leave the duty free shop. They serve real food here. When I was there, they had butter chicken, basmati rice, and a ratatouille. They have a cold bar of salad, macaroni salad, broccoli, and other vegetables. I was very surprised to see their open bar liquor, pretty nice to look at and they had cold beers in the fridge along with their yogurt and fruit. Their pastry selection and desserts were so delicious and the coffee machine made lattes and cappuccinos. Plenty of seating around and dining tables. I had a very early morning flight and it was nice to have this lounge available. The entrance is to the left just after walking through the Duty Free maze. The ceilings are very high and the space is walled in by glass, so it is very airy and spacious. A buffet food station is near the entrance and for breakfast I had some Canadian bacon and eggs and a satisfying amount of cappucinos. Tucked away in the back are cozy looking nap spaces. There are seats for all sizes of travel groups, although I could see it getting quite crowded late in the day. Pretty happy to have this as a peaceful and open resting place before my early morning flight. read more
