Every time I come to B&B I have a blast. The food and drinks are alway amazing. Hats off to the B&G team. Thank you If you have gone here, I would recommend checking it out.

After a very bad break up with my last fish & chip place over coleslaw (they were charging $5 for a 50 ml container when they remembered it, and I had tried to make it work for a while) I felt adrift. Then Blowers & Grafton started making an appearance on my socials and I was willing to see if there truly were other fish in the sea. Now B&G is our fave! Their lobster rolls are quite nice. Substantial pieces of meat with a pleasant dill note. Fish and chips are delightful. The grilled lemon is a wonderful touch and their tartar recipe has really grown on me. The Fisherman's feast is sooo good for variety. It will feed more than one person or provide a few meals. It has fish and chips, fried clams, scallops and prawns. My fam and friends prefer Calgary style shawarma (I love that too) but I quite like the Halifax sweet-sauced donair's here too. I hear Sage Hill is getting a B&G and I am chuffed there will be one nearby. Oh! And their coleslaw is fabulous and copious. Bon appetit!

This review is for the Creekside location. We came here on a Saturday and there was live music. Lots of mosquitos inside as it is in a field. We got the lobster rolls with seafood chowder which was really good. The philly cheese steak was just okay as it had a lot of green peppers which overtook the flavor of the sandwich. The chips could have been larger cut as it was crumbs as a side. The smore as dessert wasn't melted enough however the chocolate was high quality and quite good. Atmosphere is good, it would be cool if they showed UFC or sports games here

First time trying out this place. Great selection on the menu ended up getting a poutine. Good food just the service was slow but in general would come back again to try other items from the menu.

We're back in business baby! Last night was a momentous occasion; I was able to sit in a bar, yes in it, not on the patio, not susceptible to Calgary's fickle weather, thrilled to be in the company of good friends bonding over great drinks and food. It doesn't get any better than this. Blowers & Grafton is a staple. Perfect for sharing--I'm a firm believer that meals are meant to be shared--their Halifax inspired food always hits the spot. RATING: 8.5/10 - Blowers & Grafton Last night we dug into Almost Famous Donair Nachos--crispy chips, succulent donair meat, and sweet donair sauce. These had all the fixings. Replacing the typical heavy corn chips with the lighter kettle chips was a nice touch. I tried a couple of cocktails from their new drink menu--the Anne's Raspberry Cordial and Annapolis Apple Sour. I especially adored the sour which is Blowers & Grafton's take on a traditional whiskey sour. Tart and refreshing, it was the perfect Friday night bevy! Thanks Blowers & Grafton for initiating my gal pals and me indoors after our most recent lock down. ‍

Beige is a generous description. They are a chain restaurant. There is nothing special about the food. They attempt east coast food

Here's what we ordered: Mango boba - surprisingly tart and could've used a bit of sweetness Peanut chicken salad - flavorful and refreshing, with noodles at the bottom Fish tacos with sweet potato fries - the beer-battered fish was crispy and delicious While the food was solid and the patio atmosphere was great, the service really impacted our experience. When we were ready to pay, it was difficult to get our server's attention. My husband eventually had to approach her across the patio, and she processed our payment while standing right there. It seemed like they were short-staffed the day we visited, which might explain the delays, but the lack of attention was still frustrating. Overall, good food and a nice setting, but I'd give it 3.5 stars due to the service issues

Food here is just alright. Fish tacos weren't bad but the fish wasn't crispy at all. The quasedilla "tortilla" was a little thick. The meat in the BBQ rice bowl was pretty good, but the ratio of rice to everything else was too high. The salad was pretty good and quite a large serving. We had A LOT of trouble flagging down our waitress, especially near the end when we were ready to pay, which was quite frustrating and the main reason I'm docking stars. However, I will say the setup outside is really nice. There are hanging plants, pretty large tables, music that's not too loud, and overall a nice vibe. I think for a slow, casual evening out this place will have you covered.

The wine list isn't huge, but what they offer is curated and impressive. We ordered the Wedge Salad and Truffled Arancini. Both arrived about 15 minutes later. The salad was underdressed, and the Arancini, while hot, lacked the tomato sauce that would have elevated the dish. Minor issues, but we moved on. Unfortunately, the main course experience was disappointing. After waiting 45 minutes, our entrees finally arrived--at room temperature. At that point, we were too hungry to send them back and wait another 20 minutes. When we shared our concerns, the staff initially offered complimentary desserts, which felt inadequate given the circumstances. After further discussion, they comped both entrees and provided a $25 gift certificate, which was a fair gesture and appreciated. The GM and Bobby personally apologized and invited us to ask about "little surprises" in the wine cellar next time, which was a nice touch. Overall, great wine and recovery effort, but the kitchen timing and food temperature need serious improvement. Hoping for a better experience next time because the potential is there.

I followed the more than 48 hour rule to cancel the room without penalty and was told that its was during their blackout period and should have read the fine print. I'm really not even sure if that is legal. The hotel takes the full amount of the charge for the room at the time of booking, not at the time of check in and keeps the money regardless of when you cancel if it falls "in their black out period" that is not clearly identified when booking those dates. You better not have plans change or have a family emergency! RIP OFF. Buyer beware, do not book.

We'd all heard from friends that the site was an excellent place for beer and a meal and so were anxious to try it out. The tap house is in the refurbished garage on the base. One of the guys was familiar with it in its previous incarnation as a member of the Canadian forces. So we we had a chunk of the evening related to a his adventures there. There's also a "Buy Gear" booth and a beer store in case you want to buy a souvenir flat of their product. We got the the Barracks Brown Ale. The food was excellent - I had a really tasty and large bison burger with a green salad as a nod to healthy dining. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Based on the fact that the site offered a selection serving of the breweries wares delivered on a heavy wooden tray they also were physically imposing at least as far a forearm strength goes The tap house is also dog friendly. Like The Hague. The dogs were well behaved and quiet and the owners appreciated the attention given the critters by other patrons.

The brewery has a casual and inviting atmosphere and the workers were very nice. We tried an IPA and a raspberry ale and the IPA was better overall than the fruit beer, but we enjoyed them both overall. We didn't get to stay too long since we still had a lot of traveling to do, but we would definitely stop here again when we're in Calgary and we'd recommend it to anyone who's in the area.

Restaurant wasn't terribly busy - probably because it was Super Bowl Sunday!!! Seated promptly - there are only four seats for the omakaze experience. The starts of the experience - the Hokkaido scallop and the chicken ass (only available on the omakaze experience and cannot be ordered in the regular dining room now). Never felt rushed, unlimited sides. Only thing that could be improved is difficulty hearing the server and chef over the background music and restaurant noise.
