Went to Chili's after a pickleball session, so I was ready to get some crispers in. I've been to the Shakopee location before and enjoy my experience there. But compared to that, this experience at the Burnsville location was a bit of a letdown. The place was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. The ambiance was great, but the condition of the booths and tables just seemed old and uncared for, and a little dirty I guess. I ordered the 6 piece chicken crisper tossed in honey chipotle, and it was alright. The chicken was crispy, and the sauce was flavored well but the chicken itself was pretty bland. The fries tasted like burger king fries (which aren't too bad honestly), and the mac and cheese was strangely thick and had a slight floury taste to it. The highlight of the night was the bottomless chips and salsa, which were nicely salted and the salsa was nice and acidic. Our server was also amazing and really down-to-earth funny and chill. It's been a while- still great service ( we like sitting at the bar), food my favorite is the alexa with extra jalapeños- glad it stays busy . Happy girl! We got here around 6:30 on a Friday and it was pretty busy, but it was a short wait. We got seated and ordered our drinks and food right away, the appetizers came out pretty quickly, but the drinks took a very long time and so did the food. Everybody in my group said the food was pretty decent. The pasta was cold, but it was still decent. Looks like things have changed quite a bit at Chili's. They no longer have the 2 for 1 happy hour and the menu has gotten smaller but pricier. The napkins are really scratchy and thin. We hadn't been there for several months, so I don't know when it changed but it's quite noticeable. We will probably go back for lunch once in a while, but probably not a dinner option as our fairly simple meal was over $75. I will say the server was great. read more

My mom, sister, and I had lunch here on a Friday at 12. They were dead - maybe 2 other customer cars in the parking lot. Our server was thrilled to see us, she was so happy to have customers. 2 of us ordered from the lunch menu - I got the Southwest Chicken Soup and the Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl. My mom got the chips and salsa and the Cilantro Lime Carne Asada. My sister ordered the Queso Burger with Curly Fries. She also asked if they had any spicy dipping sauces, and the waitress came out with a plate of 3 different sauces! All the food was good, and everyone was satisfied. The service was strangely a little slow. It took quite a while for her to come back so that we could ask for boxes, and then it took about 10 minutes for the boxes to come. Waiter put $15 tip on our bill, we called them over to fix it, they said it shouldn't have just been added so we gave a $0 tip but my card still got charged for the $15 extra. We went back and asked them about it, they said it could be pending in the bank because it was the original cost which also proved they added it to the bill first without asking. We had a great experience here! I was impressed by how promptly and nicely we were greeted by the gentleman at the front and seated when we arrived. Service was quick, easy, and correct from start to finish. I got their classic margarita on the rocks (2 for 1 special) and my friend had a soda. I ordered a takeout order of wings with 1/2 honey chipotle and 1/2 chili thai flavoring and my friend and I decided to split their lava cake. The lava cake was good - could've been slightly more melty but the caramel sauce and ice cream were great! My margarita was delicious where I could taste the booze but it wasn't overwhelming. Our dessert came out quickly and my to-go order came out right as we were finishing our food. The place was about 1/4 full but we came inbetween meal times and had a lot of ladies enjoying lunch and drinks together near the bar. The restaurant had a good combination of bar stools, high tops, and low top tables available with large windows all around the dining room which made for a pretty view in the rain. I've always liked Chili's for a chain. Quick and fast Tex mex style. The crispy chicken crispers with chipotle sauce is my other favorite thing to order besides the steak bacon quesadillas. The apps are usually always fresh too. It's easy and decent food that hits the spot. read more

I am very disappointed in the lack of service and honesty from this location. I placed a takeout order tonight for my family. Nothing too hard ( burger, soup, salad, triple dipper and a sandwich ). I arrived to pickup the order and was told that it was almost done should be just a minute. After being told three times after this that the soup wasn't ready and that was all that was needed (15 mins after promised time). I told them to dance my order and left. This isn't the first time I have had to wait after my order was supposed to be ready. This location has slowly started to slide downhill with it's service standard. I would not recommend going here to anyone right now. There are other options on the area that are just as good if not better. read more

My mom and dad took my two girls to Chili's today for lunch. They ordered a dessert to go and the manager is the one who prepared it. When they got home which is less than four miles the ice cream was melted all over the cookie in the to go container. Out of respect for my girlfriend I did not eat my food until hers came. By that time Hers came my wings are cold so I was going to get some more sauce to throw on them. Little did I know we wouldn't see him for a while. My gf did not like her food because the chicken was very squishy like crab. We sat and waited for 10-15 minutes and watched all the staff (including what looked like the manager) look at us and keep walking. He grabbed her plate, asked what she didn't like about it and walked away once we told him. He took her food off our bill (left mine) and never saw him again. Over all the whole meal was okay.. it all could've used something or just didn't taste the best quality which was upsetting being that me and my partner haven't gotten out in awhile for a "date" in awhile but we made the best of it and enjoyed the quality time. On Sunday June 9th my 3 sisters and I decided to visit Chilis in Burnsville. Worse Ever!!!!!!!!! We had a new server (which we did not know but could have guessed) We were sat at a table. Brought water and then forgotten. Waited 1/2 hour before I got up and said something to mgr. Mind you every one around us who came after us were being served. The manager explained our waiter was new and she would help. OMG, worse food ever. We ordered mini tacos. Greasy-fell apart and all around NOT GOOD. My one sister ordered something that she wanted gound beef. We were told NO ground beef just shredded. Well funny thing is we got ground beef in our tacos. Again I asked for mgt to complain about the tacos. She basically said each chilis is different and really didn't acknowledge the content of our complaint. BAD FOOD. She comped our two meals but my feeling is she should have not charged any of us as it was one thing after the other. USed to LOVE chilis. Because of this experience will NEVER go back.
