Chili's is a long-time favorite of mine. Their queso con carne is so good! I used to go to the Chili's near my church every few Sunday's, up until they closed their doors. The building still exists with the handles and everything. However, it's been repurposed so many times, by so many people, that it's almost unrecognizable. Needless to say, I was hyped to be able to eat here. We reminisced about the "old days" and ordered that delicious queso. While ordering, I noticed that the mozzarella sticks were replaced with the monstrously huge "Fried Mozzarella". I simply HAD to order them too. I'm so glad I did because they were crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, piping hot all the way thru, and deliciously melty and flavorful! Honestly, in the moment, they were way better than the queso dip. Ok...enough about the amazingly, deliciously, fantastic Fried Mozzarella [pockets]. Well, on more thing: they really should rename them to (if you have to keep this part: "Fried", so be it) Fried [Mozzarella Pockets]. They resemble Hot Pockets, but they're filled with just mozzarella. The name fits so much better than saying just Fried Mozzarella, but hey, what do I know? I'm just some guy. DO IT, CHILI'S! "Mozzarella Pockets" Anyway... My sister ordered the Sirloin with Avocado and lime sauce on top- medium. She said it was refreshing and very tasty. Her steak had ZERO sinew and no fat. That's a good thing for her because she doesn't eat the fat. I ordered the Classic Ribeye. The chef put a beautiful crust on the outside with a touch of pepper and salt. Unfortunately, there was a little bit of sinew, but when I say a little bit, I really do mean a little bit. The sinew amounted to approximately the same amount as the wide section of my fork. This is very nearly negligible. The fat was almost entirely rendered and was very easy to chew thru along with the meat- adding wonderful mouthfeel to every bite. The dollop of whipped butter on top was basically only there for decoration and "just in case-ness". Honestly, just as good as any ribeye I've done carefully at home. I got french fries so that I could dip them in the leftover queso con carne. Always the right choice! Advice: NEVER LEAVE ANY QUESO. Seriously though, they never give you enough chips for the salsa AND the queso, but if you order more chips, then you have too many chips! It's like the old hotdog and hotdog bun conundrum. I figured out that if you use more chips for salso and finish that off and use less chips for queso, then you can finish off the queso with your fries! Lastly, I wanted to mention the asparagus. The asparagus, you'll notice is on both of our plates. It was cooked perfectly. The bases of the stalks were tender and the spear heads were not mushy at all. There was a perfect amount of pepper, but perhaps a bit too much salt for some. Although, that's really how I like it. When we walked in, we were greeted after only a couple minutes of waiting. The hostess walked us to a table and went off to retrieve our waiter. When are waiter came, he asked for a drink orders, and I went to head and gave him the appetizers. Our appetizers arrived within about eight minutes, while we were looking at the menu. The chips and salsa did not actually come to our table until after our queso arrived. The person that delivered our queso to the table, saw that we did not have any chips or salsa and said he would get us some immediately. He did. The Fried Mozzarella came out a few minutes later. Our food arrived about 8 minutes after that. The waiter was attentive and came to our table four or five times to check on us throughout our meal. He did not interrupt our conversations or pester us in any way and was very friendly as well. I highly recommend this location. It is loud, so if you are sensitive to that kind of thing, be aware of that. However, all the TV's are on the side of the restaurant with the bar. So, it may be tolerable for you on the other side of the restaurant. Check them out if you are in the area! I'll definitely be back when I'm visiting my grandmother! read more

Meth was the bartender at this Chilis. She is very cold and rude. She never smiles. She gossips about her customers. She's been with Chilis along time. She's pushed other staff out the door because she is a bully. She serves drinks without measuring her alcohol. She's skimping. Your not getting what you paid for. Most of her drinks are mix. Since I recently moved this is the closest Chili's to my house now. It was my first time in this location and I don't have any complaints. The food was fresh, and cooked to order (you can tell). After a long day of walking around, we decided to stop by and get some food and drinks. I ordered the $5 Monthly Margarita: Hennessy's Harvest. (Hennessy, Lunasul Blanco & sour mix). I ordered the Triple Dipper. This means you can choose three items from the appetizer menu. I choose BBQ boneless wings, chicken fingers, and the burger sliders. I like the idea of trying different stuff from the menu, in general, everything was pretty good. The egg rolls are actually giant, and very tasty. The burgers and wings are great as well. My family some stuff for the $3 for $10 which comes with a drink, an appetizer, and an entree. If you sign up for their email club (Chili's Rewards) you can get free Chips & Salsa or a Non-Alcoholic Beverage by visiting participating Chili's at least once every 60 days. Plus sometimes they will send a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert. We decided to get the Molten Chocolate Cake. It's a chocolate cake with a molten chocolate center, topped with vanilla ice cream in a chocolate shell. So, SO good. All that food for only $30, very affordable and good food. Drive by all the time so got chili's to go for mom and I so stopped by. Ordered online, order ready when I got there for nachos , fajitas , tons of chips and guacamole- artichoke dip , all was quite good!! I was a bit late so nachos a little cold but good either way. Packing to go is a bitch for them because they let you build your plate when you get home and the same width of the fajitas so be sure to tip them.Lots of containers, and it was great putting it together the way you like it . The last time we went out to eat, I had ribeye steak and veggies with it. My husband had chicken salad and tortilla soup. The quality of the meat is so cheap. It's too tough and I ordered medium. I have to cut it in smaller pcs to digest better. I never had ribeye steak that tough. The chicken salad looks like the chicken is leftover and the soup is not hot. It's warm. What a horrible experience we had. Ordered caso with chips and it came out as cold as my ex wife. And no they don't have a mild sauce. I ordered her a skillet Queso dip that was nasty. I don't know what to say but no, no, no. I asked for a sample of the white sauce. I told the girl a spoonful to see if my aunt would eat it. Didn't know she charged me $1.20 for a bite amount. It was good but we were almost done so we did not get it. Chili's Mall of Georgia is a train wreck. I have been there three times in the last month. The last time I went in, they couldn't seat us, not because they were busy but because they didn't have hardly any staff. This location is a no fly zone for us now. If you have a hankering for Chili's, do yourself a favor and drive up to the Hamilton Mill location. The food is typically very good and the staff is great. The customer service here is top tier: When we cane in we were fasting because of Ramadan with the amount of hatred towards Muslims currently this place is very very respectful and accommodating we need more of that from every place. Rachel was our waitress and Kervin is the manager they are very very good at their jobs and we appreciate them so much for working with us and making sure our food was fresh and on time. I'm not really a Chili's fan, but this place has me transfixed. Plus, this was where my date and I ended up eating and sharing a great meal together. Hehehe. I'm just being mushy for the heck of it. But really, this place has pretty good service & food, friendly staff, a good atmosphere, and entertainment on the iPad. What I mean is that if you pay $0.99 or something like that, you can play trivia and other games for as long as you want. Yeah. My date kind of figured that out the hard way. lol. Don't pay with the Kiosk at this Chili's. A couple of weeks ago we ate lunch there with two other couples. We all ordered the same thing from the menu. It came time to pay the bill and we used the Kiosk to pay. Well I entered my amount and it would not let me enter a tip amount so I summoned the waitress and she said she would fix it by clearing the first amount out and starting over. Well, when we got the CC bill, we were charged twice, once without a tip and the other with the tip. My wife has called this Chili's restaurant numerous times to get this refunded without any success from this restaurant.
