    Burnt toast
    S B.

Chili's, where flavor goes to die. Ordered takeout and was given a pickup time, only to find my food was "ready" in under five minutes--which is code for "we microwaved something sad." The pasta was colder than my enthusiasm when I opened the box. Zero flavor, barely any sauce (maybe they ran out while overcooking the toast.) Portions were a joke--unless you consider kid-sized meals worth $20. I'm still hungry, disappointed, and questioning my life choices. Do yourself a favor: go literally anywhere else.

We have gone to this Chilis when we want a place that offers an assortment. While the menu has gotten smaller it seems it still offers lots of yummy options. Our food was very tasty! Service was great that day and the atmosphere was good as always. Definitely recommend if you have a group with different taste buds!

Got a special sauce burger and fries. You couldn't tell the burger had sauce but it was good. Their burgers are usually good. The fries weren't great. They used to have awesome fries. Side salad was great. Service was very attentive although it took a minute for us to get sat and get our order in. Good overall.

Service was quick. Monthly margarita was good! We had the spinach queso dip for an appetizer. The dip & salsa was really good!! Chips were shiny with grease, yuck. Chili tasted a little over cooked. Potato soup & salad were good. Buffalo chicken ranch sandwich was a solid choice. Would go back, maybe we just got a bad batch of chips and chili.

I went back here after a while. My last experience was not great. This time I had a good experience so I had to write an update. I tried the new fried chicken sandwich and it was huge and really good. They were busy and short staffed but the waitress still did a great job.

Not at all what I was expecting. We usually get the triple dipper in the restaurant and it's so good! Ordered on Door Dash and I don't think it's even the same food. The chicken looks like a kids meal and doesn't taste like it normally does and the eggs rolls were super greasy, they're normally my favorite part of the meal. So sad I guess I know not to ever Door Dash from Chili's again. We all have covid so I thought this would be helpful but nope it's disgusting.

Really sad about this one. Ordered off DoorDash It's Just Wings, and the food came very overcooked. Couldn't even get through a couple of the wings before being done. Very unfortunate after a long day at work. Please don't over cook these.

This Chili's is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really good and sometimes it's not. We ordered food to go, and picked it up right on time. My husband ordered a half rack of ribs and they were extremely dry and tough. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta which was really good (hard to mess up pasta). We did the 2 for $25 deal which I really love because you get an appetizer, two meals and a dessert to share. The cheesecake is really good. The app to order to-go is also really user friendly which I like. Overall, not too bad but hubby was not happy to have to eat dry, tough ribs. They need to do a better job at making sure their food is fresh.

Love coming to chili's for their margarita of the month. Only $5.00. This months is particularly good. Cosmo-Rita.

Today was their redemption day. Again, our server was spot on great. My wife ordered the 7oz. Filet (medium rare) with baked potato and house salad. I ordered their "Famous" French Dip sandwich with fries. My wife said the steak was good, but a little more on the rare side. The potato was good and had the salt encrusted skin. She said the salad was good and it was accompanied by a very tasty croissant (which I stole from my wife). My suggestion is to provide those croissants as a gimme for every table, since no bread was served to snack on until the meal arrived. My French dip was loaded with shaved medium rare to medium prime rib. It should be loaded considering the price of $25 for a sandwich. The Au Jus was salty, just the way it should be. The sandwich was great. The fries were ok, a little on the cool side. Again, our server was phenomenal. She did not let a drink go dry and was not intrusive while we were eating. She would show up with the drink refills, then ask if we needed anything. She truly seemed like she loves her job. We're still not sure if we will patronize this establishment again, because you can get the same quality of food at Texas Roadhouse for half the price and unlimited, free hot rolls. YMMV, this was our experience.

There is an abundance of wine to choose from. Our server was rushed (and they were packed) and I didn't get a lot of direction on the wine so I just ordered a white sampler and just asked for three dry varieties. The first one I tried (Collan) was not dry in my opinion. The Triple was drier but my favorite was the Fume. I really got hints of pinion in this final one and ordered another 5 oz. of it. We tried the avocado bruschetta to start. It was four big pieces of good bread but was more avocado toast than bruschetta. I would probably go with a different appetizer next time. We both tried the burgers. I went with the mushroom-gouda one. It was over done and not seasoned at all. The gouda was nice and gooey and the mushrooms were seasoned well. Fries were OK. The table next to us had a couple of the flatbreads and I would try those next time. Back to the service. It was OK but our server had a tendency to just show up at our table and just stand. I would come back to try more appetizers and a flight of their red offerings. I also want to know more about the winery. Maybe after the busy holidays.

The hustle and bustle of Friday night dinner plans hadn't started yet and there was plenty of seating. We were seated and there were crumbs on our "clean" table. We were moved and the floor under that table was sticky. Our server, who never introduced themselves, came and took our drink and appetizer order. Our sodas came out flat. The server didn't charge us and replaced them with waters. Our appetizer eventually arrived, the spinach, artichoke dip. The parmesan on top was not melted, we removed it like a sheet of paper. We told our server, who said, "oh yeah, I should've told you that it is better when you take it home and microwave it to really melt the cheese then it's really good". Even if we did enjoy the spinach dip, which we did not, there aren't enough pita chips to eat the entire appetizer. Those would be an additional charge. During the appetizer conversation, I did put my empty water glass to their side of the table to make a refill more simple. They started to walk away without even realizing the nonverbal gesture I made as to not interrupt our conversation. I verbally asked for more water and they forgot about it. I did witness the "ah-ha" moment when they remembered they had forgotten. My wife's grilled salmon had no real flavor, sitting on top of a basic bed of rice. Her tabouli was lacking. I can't forget to mention that when her side salad arrived, the food runner simply asked, "is this yours?" It was slightly off-putting. I never thought about my dining experience being altered by the food runner, but "side salad with ranch" versus "is this yours" is a minor detail that can apparently affect the experience. The server didn't come by as often as I felt they should. They did their verbal checks with the appetizer and the meal, but didn't see them do any walk by checks, until I asked for the bill. My burger was nothing to write home about, but it was good. The fries were undercooked and the thousand island dressing tasted like Kraft dressing. I ate half my burger and my wife ate a small portion of her salmon. We paid 60$ for food we barely touched and we took none of it home. I would rather pay 60$ at Chili's or Texas Roadhouse. We take those leftovers home. I would like to say that I would give Bison another chance, but that won't be the case. Too many mishaps on this visit to make us want to return. My wife was very tempted to talk to the manager, but I was more ready to just pay the check, leave, and take this experience as a sign to never return.

I usually order my food to go, but on one visit I arrived early and spent some time inside. The front area has a small waiting space with decor that gives a bit of history and personality to the place. They also offer beef for purchase, which is a nice touch if you are someone who enjoys cooking at home. I sat at the bar while I waited, and the service matched what I have come to expect from them. Friendly, attentive, and easygoing. The bartender even helped create a drink based on the flavor profile I described. It had a light citrus note with tequila and was very well balanced. As for the food, the onion burger is my favorite. I always add lettuce and tomato, and their burger sauce brings everything together. The flavors are rich without being overwhelming, and the quality of the beef stands out. The fries deserve their own mention. The regular fries are crispy and well done, and the sweet potato fries are just as good, which makes it hard to choose between the two. I usually get the garlic aioli on the side, and it takes everything up another level. The atmosphere is slightly elevated compared to a typical burger spot, especially in the bar area, but still relaxed enough to feel comfortable. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.

He runs more to the tame side of food, so this was a logical choice for us. TLDR: good food, reasonable prices and really nice people. Got there around 12:45, and were seated immediately. We got menus and ordered drinks and set about making choices. My son went with the chicken and waffles, hashbrowns instead of eggs, since he doesn't eat eggs. I went with my usual diner test, the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, cream gravy and green beans. The inside is clean, neat and cheery. Staff were busy but attentive. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Son's chicken and waffles were outstanding, according to him. Chicken not dry and waffles crisp on the outside and tender inside. Not sure what syrup they use, but he commented that it had almost a cinnamon flavor that he loved. The dish comes with a berry compote type dip that was quite good. Hashbrowns were perfect. Crispy on the outside and steamy soft inside. My CFS was one of the better ones I've had. Not the best, but certainly an 8/10 on all points. Plenty thick enough, nearly 1/2" and well breaded. Crust to meat ratio was good too, with only a little pullback on the meat. Brust was flavorful and not at all soggy. Potatoes are scratch made, and the gravy was both flavorful and plentiful. Green beans were slow cooked and once I salted them, they were great. CFS could have been a little more tender, as some parts definitely needed a knife to cut, but overall, a really good effort. It also came with a respectable side salad that I enjoyed a lot. Prices are reasonable, service is great and the atmosphere is typical diner, without being a greasy spoon, not that that's a bad thing at all. My part of the order ran to $18 and change with an iced tea, and for what I got, that's not bad at all.
