Let's start with the silverware first the fork was dirty so I sent it back and got a new one and had some of the last users food on it and then I ordered an iced tea and in the glass of the rim was a used napkin other than that, it was pretty good. My wife and I go for lunch at the location at Prairie View Center always had great service. We sit in the bar area. The bartenders are wonderful. The food comes out fast. Worst service ever. Came in on a Saturday at 3p. They said they only have one server and are expecting another to come in at 3:30. Who doesn't staff fully on a Saturday? The hostess with the freckles was very rude and had a lot of attitude, and my mother in law was very kindly asking about wait times. The situation wasn't a big deal but the hostess managed it very poorly and kept giving attitude and talking crap about us with the other hostess. We went to the Chili's in Brighton. It Is one of our easy picks. Has a full bar and menu is extensive. There were 2 of us for a late lunch so it was not very busy. The person who escorted us to our table asked what drinks we would like so we advised water and an alcoholic beverage. About 2 minutes later our wait person arrived and we told her we would like the $6 special margaritas. They were brought to us quickly and they were great. We ordered food and an appetizer. Food arrived quickly and was warm and presentation was good. Because it was mid afternoon, most tables were empty Only challenge we had was I ordered the smokehouse combo which showed a price at 18. And some change. There were a number of items on the list to pick from and I believed the ribs were on that list. the bill arrived they had added an additional $3 for the ribs. Wow...this place has gone down hill fast.....just left disgusted with the meal...sat down to a greasey table; hostess brought us menus which had food from someone else's meal on it possibly ketchup... The silverware was covered in a layer grease...I asked for new silverware ( should have just left). Waitress brought new silverware, which was just as bad ...then there's the glasses...I ordered a water and Dr Pepper..didn't notice the water until after our meal came and I finished my Dr pepper....the waitress brought a new glass of Dr pepper, and I noticed the layer of grease on the water glass....it was so thick you couldn't see through the water. So I looked at my Dr pepper glass and checked the inside of the glass...it litterally was so thick I couldn't wipe it off with my thumb.. lost my appetite at this point..ate only piping hot meat which should have been safe...but wouldn't risk it with the chicken.... Waitress asks if we want a box...uh...NO...I want a tetanus shot and some penicillin, since it's likely the employee washing dishes is not using detergent, just spraying off with hot water and running the dishes through the sanitizer. Manager comes over ....show him the water and glasses ..he just collects them and says we gave ya a discount...14 bucks off for filthy dishes and a complete lack of care for what their serving food on.... If you have the chance to go to Chili's in Brighton...might want to just go somewhere else...or make sure your shots are up todate. I left with a sub par experience. I came here for lunch and I waited in the front for about five minutes before someone came up to me. I contemplated leaving and right when I was about to leave, someone came up, offered me the lounge, apparently it's open seating and that I could have just gone straight there. The place was messy. The menus are on the end of the table and we're all sticky. I was grossed out when the menu I picked up had a straw wrapper melded to the menu. I picked up a different menu. The lunch combo caught my eye. I ordered the soup and a "double burger". The picture looks good with lettuce and tomatoes and cheese that looks like a juicy McDouble or Double whopper, but when the food came out, it was two sliders, with bacon bits. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no cheese. I was extremely disappointed. I didn't complain about it because I'm on lunch break, I don't have time for them to get it right. It should have been right the first time. So it all led to that, a poor experience. After living in Brighton for 6.5 years and eating at this location multiple times, the term 'disappointed' would be an understatement. We placed an order tonight via DoorDash for Chilis, and we're surprised to see the wait time was relatively long for a Tuesday evening - but no biggie. I usually like busy restaurants because your foods hot & fresh, but this wasn't the case. Pictured is a photo of a raw burger. If you any beef knowledge at all, you can tell this burger isn't even "rare" - it's seriously raw. To boot, the person receiving this food has pretty significant health problems. I've been to this Chili's for years. I have never really had an issue when dinning in or taking out. Costumer service is usually great over all. These people stay on their toes and have many costumers to deal with so I'm not going to expect them to be on "my ever demand" but I have no negative review for anyone at this Chili's or on the food. The food is always hot and fresh , the Taste is great and there's always something new to try. For take out/ pickup costumer service is always great. The food is always ready on time and is hot / fresh. Have not had an issue with missing items or wrong items. Because the district manager thought conducting a review of this location was appropriate to do at a table right next to customers. I came here to enjoy a date night with my fiancé after work, not to listen to the same corporate BS I have shoved down my throat every day at work. First, we don't consider chilis amazing by any means- but as a chain, we expect consistency. Brighton chilis just made a non-customer of us. We ordered and waited, which was okay. When the food arrived, one entree was missing and we were told that it was "one minute behind these". Still okay. The nachos that did arrive had clearly sat In the window for 15-20 minutes. The entire surface was crusted and dried. Temp was almost warm. Taste was not only not the norm for classic nachos, but something was def wrong with the chicken. When the late entree arrive 15 minutes later (not one minute), the kids were done eating and I had decided already to eat something at home. The late food was fajitas. Anyone who's been to chilis knows they're support be served sizzling hot. Because we've both been chefs before, we know this gimmick is achieved with a squirt of water on the hot skillet - but it's cool... they sizzle anyway. Whatevs - they came out quiet. Like a salad quiet. I put my hand on the skillet even though Christina quoted the obligatory "be careful it's hot"! To be honest I've eaten hotter popcorn. The skillet was lukewarm. The food was lukewarm. It was almost as if they sat in a window as long as my petrified nachos had. Both the server and manager came at it like "omg. They were like... totally hot when they handed them to me"! And "omg ya.. we all waited for them for like, ever". Bullshit Christina, they weren't hot when you picked them up, and they didn't go from sizzling to room temp on the 34 foot journey from lime to table. Kinda like the nachos, which weren't made right to begin with, didn't unexpectedly have a birthday in the same journey. As I said, we've both been chefs, so lying doesn't work well at our table, sister. Shit happens sometimes. But when it does - a little accountability goes a long way. It sounds like this: "I'm really sorry guys. I got in the weeds and completely forgot about you. Since your kids are all done let us treat them to a dessert while we re-fire these two entrees for you". See? Not hard. Very hit-and-miss location.
