It's Texas Roadhouse, so totally what patrons would expect. Well known for their steaks (I totally dig how they proudly promote the hand-cut style) the service was excellent.....friendly, fast and attentive. We used the call ahead waitlist option and were seated promptly upon our arrival. Our food and drinks arrived quick (oh, I definitely recommend the mocktails!) Seriously, this location does not mess around. My only disappointment was that we both ordered our steaks medium well (so some pink) and my sirloin arrived a bit on the drier side (so very well done) while my boyfriend's was more medium than well. We still enjoyed our lunch though and will definitely be returning again for Sunday Lunch. read more

We've been loyal customers of Texas Roadhouse for many years. Like many others, every Christmas we take advantage of their gift card promotions because we dine there often enough that it makes sense and helps save a little money. This year's promotion included discounted gift cards, along with $10 off coupons and free appetizer coupons. Before purchasing, we specifically asked how these could be used, and we were told they could be combined. Up until today, that's exactly how it worked without any issue. However, during our visit today, we were told there is now a "new policy" that no longer allows the use of both a $10 off coupon and a free appetizer coupon together. Our waiter, Cam, also mentioned that if you order from the early dine menu, you cannot use any coupons at all. I calmly explained that this contradicts what we were told when we made the purchase and how it has been honored ever since. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to matter. It's disappointing. You expect a place like Texas Roadhouse to stand by what it tells its customers. In Texas, a handshake is supposed to mean something--but this didn't feel like that. At the end of the day, it feels like the bottom line is more important than keeping loyal, long-time patrons. read more

The food and service was great...the only thing really bothering me was I believe the new store owner, Sarah. I over heard her disrespect her employees, I was standing near the kitchen entrance near the front where you can see them handing out food. She was yelling at the people cooking the food too. Maybe she was having a bad day but why speak to someone like that? It was a busy night people are gonna make mistakes. I just think as a store owner you should know how stressful it gets no matter what. They are human. I can't imagine how she treats them when she isn't putting food on trays. I just hope she finds peace because in no way I don't think she should be speaking to anyone like that. We used the waitlist while we were driving, the wait said about 5-15 minutes which I think we were closer to 30 before we were seated. Of note, while we were waiting to be seated you can watch people putting rolls on the baking trays. I turned to watch a blonde girl with gloves on texting on her cell phone, then watched her put her phone in her pocket and proceed to place more rolls on the baking tray without changing her gloves!!! Lucky for us we actually weren't given rolls when they sat us (I didn't comment to anyone what I saw.) Our waitress was nice but she was very forgetful and our orders weren't how we requested them, she was running around a lot so she obviously was very busy. I realize this is just one small review for a restaurant that is obviously so busy, but basic hygiene should be a standard at the very minimum. If someone in the front is on their phone with gloves on and then handles food god knows what's happening where people can't see. WORST dinner ever.... ordered a ribeye and specifically asked for it to be blackened and it came out soggy, not even the regular black marks that came out on a filet, which wasn't requested to be blackened (and the filet was Rare, not medium rare as requested). Tried to explain to the waitress and she immediately got a manager. The steak was recooked and came out black on the outside and raw on the inside...... they took part of the charge off, but the waitress was still rude and we were just done. Would not recommend this place, which is a bummer because we have eaten there many times before, but the entire experience was just horrible. Very disappointed in the change to the quality of the beef. It is tough prime rib was tough i don't even know how that is possible. The ribeye was tough and again the only way that happens is if you don't buy quality beef. I get it. The manager came to our table and I called him on it the first time I got a tough ribeye. I only get it medium. They admitted it was a new provider for the beef but they managed to have it remade and it was nothing like the first steak not even close. You have to wonder if they are using natural beef or bill gates beef. It's enough to make me look elsewhere. If its the matter of 2 or 4 dollars more than offer a better cut of meat. We usually do takeout. We always get takeout kind of when they're open and we keep it in the refrigerator and have it for dinner. The prime rib is always really good. Not too fatty always cook. Texas Roadhouse are few and far between where I am and my boyfriend wanted to go to a steakhouse on this trip so we had to stop by Texas Roadhouse. It was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. There was a short wait to be seated and service was excellent. We were helped by Ali and she had honestly very good recommendations for sides and apps. I had the 6oz sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and salad. Very good value for the "Early Dining" special and I couldn't finish my plate. My boyfriend had the Bone in Ribeye and the steak was massive and cooked to perfection, both of ours were actually. For apps, we got the combo platter with potato skins, spicy boneless wings, and rattlesnake bites. Rattlesnake bites had a nice kick. I had to take home the butter rolls with cinnamon butter. Oh Texas Roadhouse, how I love thee. You've been a staple of my life for so long, but your recent changes have left me out in the cold. The Roadhouse no longer allows you to wait inside for a table, which there is always a wait. You are expected to play this series of games that involves checking in at an outside window, then waiting in your car, then going back to wait in line at the window to get a weird little ticket to then finally be allowed past the gatekeeper to wait "on-deck" for someone to show you to your table. To be frank, it ruins your experience before it even starts. If they can't handle the crowd and give them a place to wait, they should open another location, jumping off the soap box now. Once seated, the service was excellent. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was loud and obnoxious, as you would expect. Unfortunately, I'm not playing the game to get into the circus again. Horrible customer service! My family and I chose to have a birthday dinner here and were treated horribly. We had a group of 12 and were informed we would have to be sat at 2 different tables which is expected. We waited our turn on the waitlist like everyone else and checked in as soon as we received the text message. It was super crowded inside so 2 from our group chose to wait outside on the bench while we waited to actually get taken to our table. Well simply because we temporarily weren't hip to hip waiting inside the staff and manager chose to give our tables away! The reasoning was we were not there within the 10 min time frame. We were not even informed that they gave our tables away and were standing there with 4 kids and 8 adults for over 30 min before we went to ask what was going on. The assistant manager "Chris" was very rude and was in my sister-in-law's face arguing it's our fault that they gave the tables away even though we were all there. This steak house is on fire this Sunday night! Look at this full parking lot, the side street, and people waiting outdoors to get inside. We walked in, and the staff took my name and phone number and asked me to wait in the car until I got a text. Upon entering the restaurant after getting my text, we were asked to wait in the front area until our table was ready. About 3 other parties were seated before us. While walking to our table, I was just blown away as every seat was filled with customers. A total of about 15 - 20 minutes from the car text to our table. Within minutes, our waitress was here, offering us drinks and appetizers to order. While waiting for some grub, I noticed how efficient this process was working. The staff was running around like clock work and never missing a tick. lol Someone please give this management/manager some KUDOS! All of the staff blended so well and helped each other, PERFECT! This just keeps getting better. The food was perfect from the cute little tomatoes in the sand to the fall of the bone ribs and my goodness, of course, the rolls and cinnamon butter. Food You know what you'll get. I get the baked potato soup. The only issue is it's never hot when you get it. So I wonder if it's kept at 140 per health regs. Because when I get it,it's almost just luke warm. So it must sit for a bit before you get it. Same with the baked potatoes. Steaks are not bad. It just seems the TR's in Colorado need to step up their game more. The TR's in Texas and I have been to several just seem to do it better. But this one is better than the one in Grand Junction. My 80 year old parents and myself got "thrown out" because when we were at the bat two couples would not move down and the lady's purse was more important than us. I was accused of "cursing and yelling" at the manager so 50yr me and 80yr parents were thrown out. Yes I swore. But this manager refused to give me th corporate number and said "I own this restaurant!" And refused to ask patrons at the bar to move one seat down after 1 1/2 hours because the "purse" . It was obviously a new manager who as also adamant about how when we complained we were "on camera".
