Thought I would give this location another try, but disappointed again. Did curbside carryout and I get home and my bacon cheeseburger is over cooked and dry, I didn't ask for well done. They also forgot to put my loaded mashed potatoes in my order. So I end up with an overcooked burnt burger that I fed to the dog. Stopped in with hubby for the 2 for $22 dinner a couple of weeks ago and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised (previous visits were lackluster at best). As a Chili's Rewards member we got free chips and salsa and for our appetizer we got the Onion Petals which were very good and paired with a tangy dipping sauce. For our meals hubby went with the ribs and was very pleased, perfect portion size for him, and I went with the Chicken Fajitas with Street Corn. The chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly and the large portion meant leftovers for hubby to take for lunch the next day. I expected more from the Street Corn but that's my fault for assuming I would get a true, authentic piece of Mexican Street Corn from a chain but it was sweet and tasty (but in all honesty didn't taste any different than the regular corn they have on the menu but cost an additional $1.99). We were seated right away and our server was on point, we'll definitely try to get back in there while the Avenue is having road work done and it isn't so crowded. read more

I got a side salad with avocado and this wax cloth was wadded up and put in my salad. I found it as I was trying to chew. I contacted the manager and he is crediting my $9 back. BIG Woo! He said it was the wax paper that avocado is wrapped in. As you see from the picture, it is disgusting. read more

I came here with my fiancee while we were at the Avenue, and it was okay... we came on the way back from Costco, which we went to after our flight arrived in BWI. We were kind of out of it, but since we were eating an early dinner ~5:30pm, we were seated pretty fast. We were served quickly, checked on from time to time, and the food wasn't noticably worst than any other chilis... Overall okay, but nothing special. read more

My first time at this specific location. Don't really plan on coming back to this one. Had the white queso spinach dip. It came out cold. Asked them to heat it up. Waited about 35 minutes for a drink from the bar and it was not busy at all. I understand there may have been short staffing something idk but it took long with no updates. Got the fangtastic drink of the month and it was not good. Not sure if this matters but it also came in a regular cup the like regular soda cups. The other locations that I've been to give you the full effect of what is advertised. The chicken strips were not cooked well, the texture was inconsistent in each chicken strip. The waitress was not very attentive either. Like i said before I've been to two other locations in Maryland. I would rather go to those and not this location. I find Chili's to be average. I've been dying to come here for ages and my friend finally took me over the weekend. I got a hard cider, southwest mac and cheese and a jalapeno burger, hold the pig. The burger was good while not fully medium rare as I specified. The outside was black as tar and the inside had spots of pink. The jalapenos need to be spaced out better so I'm not eating a whole jalapeno in one bite. It is best paired with the ranch sauce given since it's cooling. The mac & cheese was good. Spicy. As you can see I love spicy food. My server was just as ditzy as she wanted to be. I asked for a bowl to bag my food and she never returned with one so I took the glass bowl and put it in my doggy bag. She just kept dropping by asking about the meal and looking at my unfinished food. I was the only one who had food left lol. She never remembered my bowl even while looking at me sitting at a table with a styrofoam container and still not understanding. My friends payed and everything and my food was still chilling on the plate just holding out hope for that bowl that never came... The mango lemonade is good. Really good. I want to go back for actual alcoholic beverages. Maybe a happy hour. read more

I give Chili's so many opportunities to impress nd I keep leaving disappointed. My wife actually used to work at a Chili's as a college student. We have found memories about chili's but their service is consistently poor. Their food can be poor considering that it's not exactly cheap. My last visit, I arrived around 8 pm on a Thursday. It did no appear busy. Everything began well, friendly server. We got our drink rather quickly. However, when We placed our order, it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The server did not come to the table and let us know why the food was delayed. Several other tables complained. When the food arrived, the food was very tasteful and fresh (the reason for 2 stars). There nothing that stands out that would make me a regular. read more

I can't understand why this place is so popular. Although I generally enjoy their salads, I've been disappointed by most other menu items. Today had to be the worst experience we've had. Making good french fries isn't hard, you cook them at the right temperature for the right amount of time and they are great. These were not great. The burgers were okay, but not great. I tried the spicy shrimp tacos. I can't understand why anyone would order them twice. They were overly spicy and the side sauce was just plain disgusting. Restaurant was filthy. When we were sat we were surrounded by 5 tables with food scraps sitting on them. There was food and trash on the floor as well. My table had a view of the kitchen so I observed my food sitting in the window when the waitress came by to see if my dining companion had ordered the buffalo chicken salad or sandwich. So my food sat in the window waiting for the kitchen to remake her order. I am sure my food would have been better hot but I will never know. I won't go back again. I've been coming here a longtime and it seems to be steadily going down hill. If this continues they won't last much longer. For the most part I never really experience any problems here! The servers have always been nice, the people working as host have had bad nights. You can tell some of the servers work really hard, the one guy Mark I think, he's always there & a great waitor, another guy is always working hard as well. I try to go every weekend with friends, food is good, sometimes comes out cold. Chili's has a good rewards program that I love! Overall satisfied and will recommend. read more

Both came our squishy which happens when the batter isn't cold enough or absorbed to much grease in the fryers. Which happens. I've been coming to this location for close to 29 years since it opened. The menu and food quantity has gone down his with each passing year, but I feel that's all casual dinning has. Last time I ordered pickup they didn't even start making my food until after I arrived, then lied to my face after I heard the guy tell the manager they were just starting it. When I asked for a refund and would just be leaving without my dinner as my infant son was not in the mood to be in a loud restaurant, they told me they would refund the charge to the card but to also please take my meal as by that time (40 minutes after I arrived) dinner was ready. When I got home my order was incorrect and they never actually refunded the money to my card. Not only will I never step foot in this location again I have and will continue to tell anyone to stay away. read more

I know good chili and chilis does not have good chili. I lived in Montesano, WA for a few years as a kid so believe me when I say I know chili! It was watery and flavorless. I tried to add some flavor but the hot sauce they gave me was too hot and it ruined the chili even more. I was too disappointed to touch the rest of my dinner. My wife said that her hamburger was too drippy. The saving grace of this place is that it isn't as loud as a lot of restaurants. We went for fajitas and uh, a big no on that.....the chicken was not even grilled. it looked like a boiled chicken breast that had been sliced. no brown-ness to it at all. pure white. and the onions were close to raw. anywhere else you have fajitas the chicken is grilled on the grill! so it gets a little brown and the marinade is grilled onto the chicken; the onions are brownish - COOKED! we asked why it was like that and they said they do it in the oven. what?? fajitas are supposed to be fresh off the grill sizzling and sautéed looking; not raw onions and stark paper white sliced chicken. no taste at all as well. now, the French fries were fabulous. the rice that came w the fajitas was burned. the shredded cheese was rock hard; as if it had been sitting out all day and dried out. won't be going there even again. It's a shame you can't award negative stars. The staff, especially the hostest are beyond bad customer service to outright rude. Any place that would tell a 4yr old to shut-the-f&@# up and tell a 8 month pregnant woman that she must wait 25-30 minutes to be seated before she could use their bathroom is sad. I normally don't review chain restaurants, or other national chains for that matter, on Yelp unless it is strictly a service issue. There are so many decisions and influences at the corporate level that a local store cannot combat. So, I will start out by saying that I intend to email Chilis corporate. I have eaten at Chilis dozens of times over the past, say, five years. So a certain expectation has been established. But I feel like over the past year or so, the food quality has gone seriously down hill. The portions are noticeably smaller and there is an obvious 'cheapening' of the ingredients. I get that maybe a lot of families are looking for more 'value' in their meals, but I doubt many of them are willing to sacrifice quality. The biggest thing to me that stands out is the grilled chicken. I used to be able to identify a real (possibly fresh?) grilled chicken breast in most Chili's salads & Sandwiches. Overcooked, usually, yes, but nice and charred with real grill marks. Well, now it seems they've switched over to some pre-cut, frozen, microwaved chicken strips (sort of like the ones you buy in the supermarket, pre-cooked and packaged in a resealable bag). It is so obviously processed it is embarassing. Slimy chicken, no more grill marks. My daughter ordered chicken fingers and corn on the cob (again, its a kids meal, I'm not expecting hand battered chicken and freshly shucked corn) and the corn was artificially yellow, the kernels were all smushed and it had no taste. I hope Chilis puts more effort and money into its ingredients. I have lots of other chain options within a 1 mile radius. read more

I received my order 15 min after the scheduled time despite being the only person at the To-Go counter, I did not receive my drink (that I was charged for), my garlic roasted tomatoes were shriveled & small, my salsa was leaking and dripped from the plastic bag it was held in and my actual sandwich had no avocado at all and was in four strewn about pieces in the container. This used to be a great place to grab a bite. Sadly this is no longer the case. We stopped last night initially around 7:30. We were told it would be a 1 hour wait. We decided to decline. Walking back to the car looking in the windows there were easily 10 tables sitting empty and unbussed. We did some shopping and decided to try back. We used the app this time and had a 5 minute wait. Great news. We got there and were seated by the hostess with menus and the promise of a server in just a minute. It took 5 minutes for another server to approach us for a drink order. I got a soda and my dining partner got strawberry lemonade. When the drinks arrived we opted for the 2 for 20 deal, a shared app and two entrees. We got the half size Texas Cheese Fries and we each ordered the Southwestern Quesadillas. That's when we found out that they were out of them. We found out later from a family member that they were out of them two days earlier as well. So I went with the chicken Fajitas and my dining partner got the Cajun chicken pasta. When the app arrived it was more like a quarter order of the fries. It used to come with a small skillet full of fries and a ranch dressing on the side. This cane with two dressings in the pan and a much smaller amount of fries in between. To make matters worse the runner didn't leave ant plates so the app had to sit there until we could get the server. The entrees came. First the fajitas were hot but not sizzling. The flour tortillas came rolled in foil. I asked for more since they never give you enough. Good thing I did. They were stuck together and the outer layer was dried out. They obviously had been in the warmer for a while. Second the Cajun pasta was not at all hot. They probably should leave the boil-in-bag in the pot longer. We ordered drink refills and were informed that they were out of the strawberry lemonade. The long and short of it is that the restaurant seems to be cutting corners and relying on the busy location to sustain them. If you are at the Avenue at White Marsh there is a plethora of dining choices in the immediate area. Don't waste your time at this Chili's location. Will I go to Chili's again? Yes. Will I go to this Chili's again? Absolutely not. read more

I typically never write reviews because I completely understand that things can happen and people can mess up. However, today I placed an order for pickup at 5pm. The app told me to pick up the order at 5:38. When I arrived to chili's at 5:40, they asked me if I place an order for pick up. I said yes and gave them my name, and they went back into the kitchen looking for it for probably close to eight minutes. It was obvious that they did not make my order, and when the waitress came back to me she asked me what time I placed the order. I told her I place the order at 5 PM, and she said oh well it was supposed to be picked up along time ago so now the order is cold and we have to remake it and that will take a very long time. I told her the app told me to be here two minutes ago, I'm not angry that my order was never made I am angry however that she got an attitude with me acting like it was my fault for not getting there on time. I'd much Rather them tell me that something happened in my order was never made. read more

Got the free app coupon and got the boneless chipotle wings. All the food was great. The only hiccup was the fact the appetizers were brought like 1 minute before the meals because of a mix up and them forgetting about our apps. However the quality of the food and service was great and will definitely come back. Ordered the molten chocolate cake for dessert which never fails to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. I don't normally care for chain restaurants, but Chili's is the one exception. For starters, you should get the chips and salsa. It is bottomless and is probably some of the best chips and salsa I've ever had (and I'm a huge chips and salsa snob). What is also nice is that if you order some to go (this not included in the order you eat there) it comes in a microwave safe bag so your chips come out warm. I also love the Quesadilla Explosion Salad. It;s pretty much a chicken salad WITH quesadillas on it! You get the best of both worlds when you're trying to eat healthy, but really love quesadillas at the same time. I'd also recommend washing everything down with a frozen mango margarita. They rim the glasses with sugar instead of salt which I absolutely love! The service is also pretty good. There are 2 servers to every table so they are usually pretty on top of things. read more

I've been to this location countless times over the past 10+years. Initially, they had good food and service. Did the owners change? Now, the food and service are subpar. The restaurant is not clean..at all. The tables, floor, walls, and menus are dirty. When a restaurant has issues with cleanliness on the outside, I question how dirty is the kitchen and staff. I greatly enjoyED their classic nachos and burgers in the past. However, now the burgers are often over cooked and the french fries are served luke warm. I don't care for the drinks other than the margaritas. The servers try to be attentive, but they seem to be just going through the motions. I like Chili's, just not this location. My To Go orders have been prepared incorrectly, so check your order before leaving. The parking is just awful...I feel like a New York cab driver looking for a spot. They don't have a well stocked bar, so if you drink a certain vodka or rum, it's probably not there. This location needs to clean house literally and figuratively...it's reputation is negative. read more

They have a big sign out front that says call ahead for seating. I call ahead and they take tell me they do not take call ahead seating. I asked about the sign I had seen in the past out front. I'm told, yes we do have the sign out front , but we don't take call ahead seating.
