So I had expectations that wait wouldn't be too much longer since pasta only takes about 10-12 minutes to boil up. I was wrong. After about 25 minutes of waiting I suggested they give me the portion of the order that was already good to go, so I could at least ferry that much of the goodies to the car & come back inside to wait for pasta dish. By about the 35 minute mark they had assembled the supposedly ready food & drink for me & I hauled it out to the car. Another 5 minutes or so wait produced the laggard chicken dish. So total time from placing order to having food in hand was about an hour, not the initial estimate of 20 minutes. Major demerit for poor setting of expectations & customer satisfaction effort. Update: I've since ended up with some pretty major food allergies. Gluten to a smaller degree, major on soy and potato. Chiles not only has an amazing allergen menu and matrix to show you what you can have but they make me feel welcome and not like I'm a burden. It's so nice to be treated like my allergies matter and to have a place that I can eat out still! Every server has been accommodating and checks on the potato even with that not being on the matrix. They'd switched to soy oil for chips for a while and I expressed my sadness to the owner and guess what? They changed it back to veggie oil without soy! However, I can only give this location 4 stars because something has been wrong with my to-go order every single time I've ordered for the past year. The worst being an hour wait because they hadn't even cooked my order only to find out that it wasn't what I ordered when I got home and the least being one of my items missing. Chili's is in our neighborhood and we have been long-term customers. Our to-go order today was the standard two Caribbean Salads. The counter server was prompt and pleasant. When we opened our salads at home we noted two slices of pineapple were bad and smelled. We called Chili's and let the manager know - he offered to replace the salads (we are not driving back) or a $5 gift card. The salads were $23 total. Now I grew up in Santa Fe, so I am always interested in places that call menu item by city names. Chili's what is there to say. It's reliable but impersonal. I hate the computers at the table that end up meaning the servers are fewer and further between. But at least there are games for the kids and you can get your check and get gone when you're ready. They do have an allergen menus on this computers. But it doesn't break down what has the allergen. So for instance. If I ordered a salad without cheese it would meet my dietary restrictions, but on the menu it doesn't tell you what component has the allergen. The servers don't seem very aware of ingredients and since things come mostly prepackaged and are just warmed up you can't special order the fajitas for instance without dairy. All in all if you want a place to chill with friends have some fried food and beers this place is perfect. Want a dinner out with the kids, family friendly for sure! Mid range prices and a large menu means everyone will find something to be happy about. But those of us with dietary restrictions are better off finding another choice. read more

I'm not wacko crazy about Chili's, but it is a monthly staple I'd say. The Texas Cheese fries used to be my favorite favorite thing, but the quality has slightly been slacking on my last two or three visits. The fries are edible, but they just weren't fresh, plump, crispy, perfect little creatures as they have been in the past. The toppings are obviously delicious; cheese, bacon and jalapenos. Can you even go wrong with that? I'd eat cardboard if it were topped with those bad boys and dipped in ranch, so as you can see, the lower quality fry situation isn't killing me. It's just disappointing because I've had them in their most glorious of moments! The Chicken Crispers were fresh and served with a creamy, tasty, honey mustard. The fries, (again I say) were disappointing, and the corn was a little mushy. Over cooked or boiled or whatnot. My Chicken Fajitas were good. Nothing off the chains, but piping hot, fresh, marinated well enough, with crisp bell peppers and onions. Nothing like mushy veggies with fajitas. YACK! So thankfully they grilled those up well. The best part about our meal was definitely our server. She was super friendly, extremely helpful (grabbing things for us before we ever had to ask, like you're running low on napkins and she just happens to pop over with extra napkins on her next trip to the table, or you're taking food home and she brings you the little take home container with a lid for the salsa and guac that she just knows you want) and I love to see that. Being a server for a good hunk of my life, I always appreciate skilled servers. We went during Happy Hour, (which for drinks is All Day in the bar Mon-Thurs, but only from 3-6 for the food, and I believe all day Sunday for food and drinks). They offer little appetizer sampling bites and discounted beers and well drinks, so of course it's a popular football watching spot. $4.25 for a tall blue moon (or any other premium drafts, the domestics are $3.25), $3 well mixed drinks, and $3.99 house margaritas...Oh, don't forget to sign up for their rewards! It might not seem like a lot, but you get points for each visit, and after a couple months you'll end up with a free entree and be like, "Did I really eat here that much?" because at first it seems like it would take a coon's age to earn enough points for that lol! We shared the triple dipper for our meal, which I think is always a good decision. They have fries pickles but it definitely has a slight twist either with garlic or some spice that gives them a little more flavor then the typical fried pickles. I like that you can pay on those machines because it service faster and we can leave right when we want to. I stopped in at Chili's after a long day's drive on my way home to Arizona from Colorado. I didn't expect much, as I'm not a great fan of chain restaurants. To my surprise, my experience was delightful: the server (also the bartender) was warm and gracious, and my meal - a medium- rare hamburger and french fries - was delicious.
