The real deal. Is or at least used to be owned from a guy from NOLA (New Orleans, LA). We are from Louisiana & liked it.

First on service - I ordered carry out, and the woman who took my order over the phone was extremely kind. She also was the one who helped me once I arrived to pick up my food, and she was just as kind in person. It truly seemed like the entire staff was very customer centric. Food - holy cow it was great! I had the sixty six burger with the hatch chilis, and it was a phenomenal burger. Highly recommend upgrading to the truffle fries, worth the extra two bucks!! If I lived here I know I would be a regular and ensure I tried out the entire menu!

We went with the Korean Chicken bites, the Margarita Flatbread, & the green chilli cheeseburger. The Chicken bites were terrible. Taste wasn't great at all, they were very very fried, but not in a good way. I love some good crunchy fried chicken but these just were not it! The flavor, the texture, none of it was right. The Margarita Flatbread was med. Taste was pretty good, but it was soggy and didn't hold up well at all. That said it was the best of the 3 things we did get. Unfortunately, that's not saying much..... The burger was okay also. Not bad by any means, but nothing special at all either....considering there's a burger place next door I thought the burger would be able to compete with the neighbor, but trust me if you want a burger, go next door! They don't put sauce on it at all, no nothing. Just straight up patty, cheese and bun. Only my 6 year old cousin eats like that.....I did add some mayo and ketchup, which helped, but still not a great burger.... The bun didn't add much for us either, even though it was baked in house with green chilli....A simple brioche would be better imo... The fries with the burger were actually the best single item of the experience. Their fries are really good! So good that I was going to eat every single one of them but instead my waiter just came and took my plate before I had finished the last 10 or so. No are you finished yet, or anything, just grabbed it, turned and left. I was so shocked I didn't even have time to say I'm not done with that. He left the crummy chicken bites we weren't eating though..... LOL Seriously don't touch my plate unless it's empty, or you ask first! Since it was a small amount I let it slide and didn't reduce his tip because the rest of the service was actually pretty good overall..... I definitely 100% will not be back here though, there's much better food in the area.

I believe we all liked the interior deco and the ambiance of the place. The oak floors are truly beautiful. The lighting is a bit intimate which I prefer to high intensity lighting. The drink menus were alright. My friends loved the martinis and cocktails. I found the beer options to be limited. The one wine I wanted to try was unavailable, but I found another and had 2 glasses. The wines are priced at an acceptable range ($7-10). The food menu is a bit limited, but we all found something to eat. I opted for just an appetizer (artichoke + pita). One lady had their pasole, which I guess was the soup of the day. She thought it too spicy. The three other folks had salads, entrees, and dessert. BTW, they did not have an actual dessert menu but the server listed several options which they found appealing. So, the guy who had the ribeye steak ($54) though it just ok. In fact, he took most of it home. The other two had the elk medallions ($30). They found the portions of elk to be sort of tiny. They thought the potatoes were excellent. They sauce that smothered the elk was pretty spicy, or so I was told. Would we return? Sure. I would give it another try. How was service? Good and a bit slow coming out of the kitchen. How busy? When we arrived we were the first there. Several tables filled within the 2 hours of our stay. I feel this newer addition to Nob Hill is still trying to find its niche amongst a large array of eat-and-drink establishments. I hope it finds its true identity as a unique brand and that they survive long term.

I think it was pretty good, but I can't recall the flavor or how much I liked it. For food, I got a tomato basil soup and pasta with a tomato based sauce. The food was fine and was presented nicely, but unfortunately it wasn't that tasty. They have a dance floor room with a DJ stand. Not really my vibe with the modern feel of it. I am glad they host queer women's dances though.

The prices seemed reasonable and on par with other places, if not a bit less and the selection was pretty impressive- it was hard to decide what to order! The interior decor is also really nice with the High Desert vibes you would expect from the name. We each had one of the specialty burgers (Valley burger and I forget the name of the other one). They were both very tasty and the portions were generous. They have amazing fries- both the regular and sweet potato. Service was great (it was so busy we had to sit at the bar since we were in a little bit of a hurry). We plan to add this place to our rotation as there is a ton of selection that looks amazing and they have a pretty decent looking happy hour food & drink specials too. I couldn't get a good look at all the taps but that selection also seemed to be pretty impressive compared to what you see elsewhere. A good first impression and am looking forward to checking out more of the menu!

I had a hash skillet with sausage and my daughter had the crab cake Benedict. The food was ok. The poached egg was over cooked and not runny. My skillet was fine but it was not hot. I could even touch the skillet. Our food was not hot. You can see the cheese melted then hardened from sitting. In addition the food was dry. My skillet came with an English muffin with no butter or jelly. I had to ask and they gave me 2 packets of strawberry jelly. I was disappointed they didn't offer or give me any choice. The service was just ok. They were quick to take our order and bring the food but didn't offer to refill our drinks or even water. It cost too much for what you get, mediocre food & service.

Food: Appetizers: We got a variety including duck confit egg rolls, encrusted brie, fried asparagus, mussels, rattlesnake sausages and sopaipillas. The encrusted brie was a crowd favorite (who doesn't love fried cheese?) but I thought the addition of bread was unnecessary when the brie provided its own crispy texture. The mussels were good but a little spicy so beware! The sopaipilla was my least favorite dish. They served bite sized sopaipillas with cheese on top. A delicious idea but the sopaipilla was chewy and flat rather than fluffy. All entrees come with the option of a soup or salad. French Onion Soup: This was my side of choice and it was super salty. Norwegian Salmon: The salmon was perfectly cooked. It was flaky and moist but had crispy skin. The saffron tomato risotto that came with it was undercooked. The Farm: This comes with duck leg confit, lamb chop, and rotating protein (elk for our meal). Each meat was perfectly cooked. The duck meat fell off the bone easily and was succulent. The lamb chop and elk were tender and not overcooked. The green chile risotto that came with it was quite spicy! However, it does seem variable as others had the same side but it was less spicy. Lemon Leche Cake: True to its name, it was very lemony while keeping the tres leche cake flavor. It was quite cold. Service: 4 Our servers were very patient with our large group and did not make any mistakes with our orders. Ambiance: 4 Seared is a small restaurant with a southwest theme. It would be a nice restaurant for a casual date or dinner with friends. It has its own parking lot.

It was extremely busy and loud. I didn't wait in line to order, but it took them 50 minutes to prepare our salads. The service wasn't very friendly or helpful at first. I'm hoping it was because they were so busy. We had to leave 10 minutes after getting our salads so I had to take most of it home which was disappointing. On a good note, the salads were amazing. They were the best salads I've ever tasted which I why I'm giving three stars instead of less. My mom ordered the 505 Cobb and they forgot her chicken which was frustrating after waiting for nearly an hour. However, they did make up for it by making her extra chicken! And their chicken was absolutely delicious!! I ordered Persephone's Lunch which was outstanding. I added chicken to it which made it nearly $20 for a bowl salad. The seating is open and you order and sit down wherever you can find. The seating is hard on your backside and uncomfortable, especially when waiting for so long. The salads and fresh ingredients are delectable. If I ever return, it will be a to go order that is put in very early. Cheers!
