We have sworn off Chili's and most chain restaurants years ago. We found ourself in a pinch for dinner and did not want fast food. This location like many seemed understaffed and the staff was rude. We ordered 2 beers and they took forever. Our appetizer arrived before the beer. The bar was not full nor was the restaurant. We ordered the skillet queso and chips. The chips were old and on the stale side. The dip should have been hot, but was just warm. My wife had the fajitas which were great. I ordered the salmon, BIG mistake. I opted for broccoli over rice. The salmon was burnt on one end and not cooked all the way through. The broccoli was raw and not cooked. It took 10 minutes to get our servers attention. She offered to replace it and did with an order of fajitas. This process took 25 minutes. The manager came to apologize but her apology was "I am sorry about the salmon, but we are known for our salmon." She proceed to elaborate on what they are known for, burgers, ribs and such. I felt like asking why the damn salmon was on the menu, but I refrained. They did not offer any discount for the inconvenience and seemed satisfied with their poor service and quality of food. We had flashbacks to our previous visit to Chili's and said to each other, ah this is why we stopped going to this chain restaurant. read more

This was the worst Chili's I have ever been too! My server Hunter was awful. He had no urgency what so ever, to start when we first came in we waited over 10 minutes just for him to greet our table he took our drink and Appetizer order after and we waited another 10 just for our drinks (water/soda) and our chips took almost as long as our meal to come out.( mind you it was every table in his section waiting for him and he had about 3 tables, nothing crazy. The restaurant was not busy) My cup ended up having a huge bug stuck to the side and I was unable to see the bug at first due to the soda being dark but If the cup was looked at before filled you wouldn't miss it. When we let him know about the bug he laughed and said "oh yeah there is" not being helpful or empathetic at all. The food was cold by the time it got to the table and was the worst burgers we have had from chili's. Not planning to ever return to this location! read more

It is shocking how far Chili's has fallen. I travel for my job. The last 4 Chili's I've visited have all been terrible. Tonight we tried the Acworth location for my teenage son's birthday. He wanted to go there because of their molten lava cake. For some reason, only the bar area was open so we had to wait to be seated. Our waitress seemed swamped. She didn't write down our order so it came out wrong. Most of our food was cold which was a surprise considering how long it took. We were very frustrated with the long wait for our food and I had an empty glass for 20 minutes with no sign of our waitress. We were so frustrated with the service that we left without having dessert. I am done giving Chili's opportunities. read more

Chili's is me and my husband's favorite restaurant and we were so excited when they opened a Chili's two minutes from our house 10 years ago we've given it several chances because it's too close but we went there tonight and it was the straw that broke the camels back. It took forever to get our food people all around us at the bar got their food before us when they ordered after us when we did get our food it was wrong my husband's burger was burnt and it had onions on it when we said no onions after we confronted the bartender about it she was very apologetic but management never came over to try to rectify the situation. We will never be back we will drive 20 minutes away to Dallas highway to go to that Chili's Where we've always had a great experience it's very unfortunate read more

You've been to one Chili's, you've been to them all, right? Au contraire'. THIS particular location brings a whole new meaning to terms like "mediocre" and "poor service" and "swill". The parking is the first challenge at this location. The restaurant seems to stay perpetually packed, but when you do hike in from your distant parking place, you find that the place is deserted. I'm assuming the employees take the closest spots? We were seated quickly. That's about the best thing I can say. The service was abysmal. I ordered coffee that was literally the equivalent of cold dishwater. Mentioning the lack of heat to the server elicited a giggly "Oh yeah, I know!" I sent it back with her and was rewarded much later with slightly warmer dishwater. My corn on the cobb had icy spots, my baked potato soup was so cold it wouldn't even melt the shredded cheese that had been sprinkled on top. My 7 year old son's grilled chicken sandwich appeared to have been prepared in a crematorium. "Why is it all black and burnt, Mommy?" Why indeed. The server seemed disinterested, for the most part. She perked up when she brought us the bill. I feel sure she settled right back into apathy when she saw her greatly reduced tip. read more

We have given this Chilis location 3 tries actually 4 but the 4th time we didn't even eat we just left. Every time we have eaten here the service is HORRIBLE. This place is understaffed and takes forever to get your food. The first three times we tried it took over an hour to get our food and the restaurant wasn't even busy. The 4th and final attempt the hostess said she wanted to sit us in the bar area because the main part only had two servers. We decided to just leave and eat somewhere else. I would recommend taking the extra 15 minutes and go to the Cartersville Chilis. read more

Visited this location for the first time tonight. The service was great and the food was awesome. I'm usually not a big fan of the chain restaurants but this was really good. Food was fresh and very tasty. We had two small children with us and the server was very accommodating to make sure they were taken care of. The location was clean. The only suggestion is their is not a lot of parking. read more

Went here with some girlfriends during Superbowl Sunday. The place was pretty empty, so we got seated immediately. We put in our drink orders and the waitress gave us a suggestion on how to change the drink up and maybe make it taste a bit better. We took her advice and were not sorry!! It was delicious! Since we're such a diverse crowd, the three of us all ordered chicken crispers, one with double side of veggies, one w/ corn & loaded mashed potatoes and the other w/ veggies & loaded mashed potatoes. I also ordered extra honey mustard. So yeah, not one thing was wrong with our order. Everything was delicious!! This was a way better experience than my Anderson, SC one! read more

I try my best not to go to this location considering the parking lot is a disaster. After making so many laps around the restaraunt, trying to find a parking spot, you'll think you're competing for placement in the Nascar circuit. I am grateful the bar is right at the front door! There are only 12 parking spaces in the front and sides of this place and while there are 6 behind it, I normally park near Pets Mart or continue making laps. It makes you wonder if the staff parks a mile away too? Every Chili's is the same, this one is no different. I find if I swap something out or ask for extra I normally have to ask a few times. I have waited for drink refills so long, I tend to bring my own just in case. My typical order of chicken crispers with extra veggies normally means to the server chicken crispers with fries and loaded potatoes. Yeah... you get the idea. read more

Came in last week and after being seated was informed the grill was broken, came in today and was seated at a hightop and after waiting for 15 minutes and not being acknowledged we had to once again leave with no meal. I'd give their food a 3/10 and their service a 5/10. I ordered a burrito and the plate was EXTREMELY hot but the burrito itself was lukewarm. I ended up sending the food back and asking for a menu to order something else. 10 minutes later, they gave me a menu to review but by then my SO was already done with his food and it was about time to go. Kristen was awesome let me say that. My best friend and I had dinner and drinks last night, we got the romance margarita and she was given a chipped glass, no problem with Kristen, she gladly exchanged the cup. Second cup also had a chip, we believe it could have been the same glass. So Kristen came back and yet again brought another drink, and there was an ANT in it this time around. The bar tender came to the table and didn't even look in the glass but was quick to deny there even being an ant in the glass. Also made a remark about us having too many issues with the drink which wasn't our fault at all. Instantly mad us both upset. He basically insinuated we were lying when nothing was our fault. Terrible selection of food if you are concerned with watching your sodium or sugar content. Some of the entree items were 1500-3000 mg of sodium. Really, almost 3000 mg. I'm not joking. Their in-house nutrition guides won't tell you this, so you'll have to look online for the details. The food is still terrible, even if these things are not important to you. On a slow Thursday night in the restaurant, my wife and I each ordered a Ceasar salad, but we could not get past the first bites. The salads were drenched in a dressing that tasted awful. My son ordered chicken fingers with honey mustard, which had a funny after taste. So, we asked for ranch to replace the honey mustard. He wouldn't eat the ranch either. I tried it myself, and I could see why he chose to eat the dry chicken tenders plain. I didn't envy the position that our server was in. She knew that the food was not acceptable, but she was limited in what she could say. I hope that she looks for work in another restaurant where the food tastes better. She could make more money in tips elsewhere as a result of offering an improved menu. After we left Chili's, we stopped at the grocery store on the way home to get food for supper. The cost for what we did have at Chili's - chicken tenders for our son, two teas, chips, salsa and guacamole was a few pennies less than $17, including tax. The two salads were taken off our check. I'm a door dasher. My wife is a door dasher and I have friends who do the same. They like Chili's that is still doing business and really doing well with to go orders and how they do them. Terrible experience all around today. We ordered our burger well done and it came out bleeding. Our Cajun Chicken Pasta had cold and pink uncooked chicken. Finally, our salad was brown with burned edges. Had a sweet, spoiled taste to it. The only thing not bad was our glasses of water, probably because we ordered without lemon-lol. We had a large party dine here on Mother's Day. We got seated right away and our server was prompt and friendly. My gripes are with everything else. This location is filthy. Tablet screens are sticky and greasy. Tabletops feel sticky. Our appetizer plates had crusty food stuck to them. Food was mediocre at best. My meal was horrendously salty. My dessert (brownie skillet) had a long dark hair in it and the brownie was hard as a rock around the edges. The real clincher? Those stupid tablets that handle your payments. Way too confusing and glitchy. Gad to swipe our card five times. For myself, my husband, and son for three entrees, three desserts, and drinks (mine was water) it was $76! When my family and I went in to Chili's we were already given a table. I ordered a blackberry tea as my drink. It was okay(there wasn't much of a blackberry mixture in it, so it tasted like an unsweetened tea with a hint of fruit). As my meal I ordered the Big Mouth Bites. They are little cheeseburger sliders, with a side of fries. While we waited we played trivia on the little tablet. As our food arrived I was a little skeptic. My mini burgers' bottom buns were slightly off of the patty, so I had to fix it together. There is a side cup of ranch but someone spilt it, so it was all over my plate. To the restaurant's credit the fries are really good! The burgers are as well! There were some other side issues with my dad's and grandfather's meals, but I don't want to explain it. All in all, it was an okay meal. I'd recommend it to anyone, just w prepared for some light issues. read more

Ordered through DoorDash via chili's website. The order kept pending waiting for a driver and so I called. Chili employees didn't know what was going on and apparently other customers order was also not being picked up and delivered. Then the girl who picked up the phone advise me to call door dash. First off, you're partner with door dash and if a customer ordered through ur webpage (Chili's) u should make the effort to call doordash yourself- I also told the girl who answered the phone that, then the girl proceeded to tell me they don't have ways to contact doordash and they're just a 3rd party (complete bullshit cause I work in the restaurant industry and we also use doordash and we have ways of getting in contact with them). So I hang up cause I knew from that moment she wasn't going to try to help or even cared to help. But I tried to call doordash, and to no avail- I mean I didn't order through doordash directly so they didn't even have my order on file on the doordash app and when I tried calling the customer line it said the number wasn't working at the time. So it's been about 1 hr and 20 min, I called back and canceled my order with chili- and again, they had the audacity to tell me to cancel with doordash. First off I got the confirmation for my order and it clearly gave me a number (which was chili's number) where I can change my order or cancel my order-which I explain to the manager and she said "oh, door dash said that? I said no, the email y'all sent with my confirmation has this number listed and it also states to change or cancel order to call this number, then the manager told me she'll contact doordash and make sure my money will get refunded, (totally contradict what the first person told me-which was, they can't and don't have ways to contact doordash) which I knew was bull. Fast forward to 30 min later after canceling the food, doordash notify me they're on their way, so I called the number provided to me to contact the driver and I told her I canceled the order, she told me when she picked up the food at chilis no one told her it was canceled and doordash didn't alert her either-I told her to not bring the food to my house. So I called chili back and the girl picked up again-I told her how doordash was on their way and I didn't want it and why didn't they tell them the order was canceled. The girl now tells me the food is left on the table and doordash just grabbed it without their knowledge (this girls has been lying from the start and completely doesn't take any measures to calm the situation, all she did was escalate it-this is not the manager by the way) but the girl also told me that the order was canceled but it was left on the table so the manager can throw it away later. *i work in the restaurant industry too, so I know how it all works and I didn't want to upset myself further because I was already pissed off I had to call chili's to ask for my order and then they practically tell me I'm on my own and go figure it out with doordash who they're in partnership with, so to me, sounds like you're both at fault since you're partnership with them or as the manger puts it they are a "third party" * So the managers gets back on the phone and she told me not to worry she'll still have my money refunded and that regardless if door dash drops off the food or not she'll refund the money. So that pissed me off enough to leave this review. I'm not about getting "free" stuff. I paid for my food and I expect it to be delivered in a timely matter. I get shit happens, it's okay if it does-communicate with ur customers. Instead of blaming the third party, who your company obviously partner with, how about u come up with a solutions to resolve the matter instead of telling me to go call doordash and I kept telling them I didn't make the order through doordash app but it was placed through the chili's website. All in all it ruined my night because the manager should've been more empathetic and for her to think that giving me a food that's been sitting at their facility for 1 and a half hour and by the time it gets to me, it would've been 2 hours is unacceptable. The employee didn't care to make anything right aside from blaming doordash and then pretty much telling me to go figure it out with doordash was a slap to the face. Chili's needs to either get rid of doordash since they can't control or "contact" them when stuff like this happens to their customers who has a million other choice to go eat elsewhere but comes back to chili's time and time again because of loyalty. But getting treated like this tonight shows that you guys are not worthy of my loyalty to chili's anymore. read more

Been twice in the last few months and both times the kitchen was out of something. First time, no queso. How could a southwest restaurant run out of queso? That's like an Italian restaurant out of red sauce. The waiter suggested we substitute Alfredo. Really? You must be joking. The most recent time, no fiery sauce. I think she went out of her way to be rude b/c we had a coupon for free chips and salsa. As soon as we gave that to her she got even more nasty. No drink refills... Other serves would notice we were empty and offer to fill them up. The manager didn't seem to give a crap about his restaurant either. This location is DIRTY! I'm a little surprised at the amount of negative reviews on here. I have been visiting this Chili's for about a year now since I moved to the area. The food and service has always been outstanding. We always request Chelsea as our server and she is great! I had dinner there last night and the service was fast and top notch. I ordered my usual; half rack of Memphis Dry Rub ribs, and my companion ordered the 10oz sirloin medium rare. The steak was cooked perfectly. The manager on duty, Mark, even stopped by our table to make sure that everything was perfect. I don't normally visit chain restaurants but this particular location is great when I'm not in the mood to cook and not looking to break the bank either! Will definitely be back! read more

I live 2 miles from this restaurant, but would drive to Barrett Parkway to eat at Chilis. The service has been awful each time we ate there. The food was mediocre... We visited Chili's on 7/17/15. Upon arrival we were greeted by an extremely friendly hostess (I can't remember her name), and then greeted by Tanner who was incredibly pleasant to deal with! He always had a smile on his face and made our experience personal! The food took over 45 minutes to get and we were less than impressed with the taste of the food, but the attentive and friendly staff made the wait enjoyable. Overall, Chili's seems to have declined in their food taste and presentation as well as speed of service, and the chances of our return are slim, but great job with customer service! read more

Two visits, we will never be back. Our first visit was decent, not great, but not terrible. The first visit was on a Friday night, we waited 30 minutes for a table, we were seated, placed and received our order in a decent amount of time, the only complaint was that we never saw our waitress. If only the second visit had been that "bad". We just got back from dinner, it's a Monday night, so not typically a busy night. We were seated immediately, we were the 6th of what totaled at the end as 8 tables in our section, three servers were in this section, our server had two tables, ours and another larger party. We placed our order, and then we waited....and waited...and waited. Every single table around us and the other two that came in after us placed their orders and received their food before ours came out. We were updated by our server, Amanda, once stating that the fajita chicken was the hold up, but we still waited another 25 minute after that. The manager, Bill, breezed by the table dropped a basket of chips and an "it'll be out soon", and then breezed back into the kitchen. All total, we placed our order and waited 45 minutes in a practically empty restaurant for 4 orders of chicken crispers and one fajita order. During our wait, we ate our chips, drank our drinks and waited for refills from a server who would never stop by our table. Finally our meal arrived and Amanda could sense I was getting a little irritated, so she barely even acknowledged me, going so far as to put my food down in front of my husband and pushing it in my general direction, not even bothering to bring the sour cream and other dressings that come with the fajitas and seeming put out when I asked for them. In the time between bringing the food and bringing my side items, she disappeared to go clean the floors in another section, my husband needed a refill, my kids needed a refill, and I was still waiting on the remains of my meal to be brought out. When she finally returned with my sides, she again placed them in front of my husband and refused to acknowledge me, even as I was asking for a to go container since it was already 8:30 and I didn't see the need to eat a full meal that late. At this point, it was hard for me to maintain my temper, but I asked for the manager and for a to go box, for the second time. Bill the manager breezed back by the table and attempted to make amends for the delay in the meal, but did not acknowledge the poor service from Amanda; he took the check and cut a large portion of it, and we never saw Amanda again, I honestly think she was afraid to come back by the table, although I was polite in the entire time I dealt with her. Another server brought our check back and finished out our order, we had plenty of attention at this point, and plenty of grumbling and whispers directed our way from Amanda and the rest of the staff.
