A bunch of my coworkers and I came here after work for happy hour. The service was very good because they were able to separate 16 different checks. That was awesome! However, I thought the food was just OK. It was nothing to write home about. The salsa and chips were a little bland. I got the taquitos and the presentation was nice, but the flavor fell flat to me. It's a cute place but I don't think that I will go back. There are too many other really good Mexican restaurants here in the valley to go to. I have been here a total of two times. Once on a random Tuesday and second on Memorial Day. My first time here was amazing. Food was great, vibes were great, and service was too. The pictures attached are from my first visit. They offer a free cheesecake and shot for your birthday which was a nice surprise. The cheesecake was delicious as well as The Big Papa breakfast, which I had. The chilaquiles and potatoes were a hit. Unfortunately, my second visit was nothing but disappointing. It started off by being told the wait time was 30 mins and we ended up waiting an hour and 15 mins. When we finally sat down it took another 15 mins to be greeted by our server. We were ready to order right away but it still took another 35 mins for everyone to receive their food. Food came out in separate times so we had to eat without each other. Our server unfortunately got the order incorrect as well. I had a mimosa and that was the highlight of my dining experience. When we wanted to checkout our server was no where to be found. After waiting what seemed like forever, I went up to the host stand to checkout. The manger told me he was incapable of helping me that the server can check me out. After waiting another 5 mins she finally was found. I never left so quick in my life! This was so frustrating, we took an out of state friend for breakfast here and it was embarrassing. Moral of the story, go on a random Tuesday where it's predicted to be slow. read more

I will start by saying the food is delicious, but our experience made it a 3/5. We were told it would be an hour and a half wait for 13 of us which we totally understand. It ended up being a 2 hour and 15 minute wait. They had a seating area outside and the benches did not feel wet, but after the heat hit them all of us have stains on our buttons because they spray painted the benches and the heat made it melt. Then they have a door that goes into the dining room and one by the front entrance; but the door in the dining room is locked so we had to have our elderly family members squish between 30 people standing in the entry way. It seems like it could be a very dangerous situation having so many people cramped by exits. Once we were seated the manager (edena) was screaming at her servers, calling them names and telling them not to greet any tables. Which was extremely unprofessional and not any way you should talk to anyone let alone employees trying to work hard through the mess the manager had created. Once we were seated, we were not greeted by a server for 30 minutes. (Our server was amazing but told us that the manager didn't want anyone putting in orders for an hour and told them to act busy and wait to grab drinks) (The dining room was maybe almost half full, so we were really confused) After an hour we got our drinks and were told we had to wait another 20 minutes to order since the manager was still yelling at servers. After we placed our order, we received our items at different times and it took up to an hour for the last person to get their food. Our server was so sweet and apologetic but it was super unfortunate these servers were getting abused and losing money for tables as well. The food was flavorful and tasty but 4/12 plates did come out very cold. But they were very quick to bring out a replacement. I would come again for the flavor of the food possibly on a slow weekday, but I cannot support a business that yells at their employees to the point to where they are crying. The taste, decor and concept is a great idea, just would be so much better if the dining experience was better. read more

This place is AMAZING. The aesthetic, the food and the customer service were all on point. Started with the Cafe de Olla which comes served with pan Dulce on top. The Pan was super soft & flavorful. The coffee was the perfect amount of sweet and very flavorful. I ordered the chilaquiles trio and this was the best ate of chilaquiles I've ever had. All three sauces were amazing and the carne was tender and flavorful. The customer service was the best I have experienced at any restaurant in a long time. Our server consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Please keep in mind that due to social media this place has become very popular so don't get frustrated with the wait, I promise it's worth it. read more

I would like to start with what was good! The concha was soft and warm as if was freshly made. The ambience was good chill good music not too loud. The place over all has been over hyped. The food was not good at all. My husband got molcajete, my brother in law got the huevos rancheros they both had the same guisó different sauce. The potato's of the guisó was frozen potato's. potato's are too cheap to use frozen potatoes. I got the strawberry shortcake pancakes, they were ok, the cream cheese on top had some flavor. The service was not at its best waitress came a couple maybe two times, the kids eggs were not as ordered, one plate chilaquiles trio we had to ask for them because we had not received them. My husband had asked for tostadas de chicharrón and at 9am the place said there is no chicharrón. I asked for a side of bacon and waitress has to check if they had bacon!. The manager came out trying to fill tables when orders were not coming out correctly and you can tell she was focused on quantity not quality of service. The chef needs to find his inspiration. I would not come here again. It was not worth a 45 minute wait. The restaurant is not prepared for all the people they are receiving. read more

We had reservations for 3pm on a Saturday for 8 of us and were seated right away. Our server Ramone was so patient and kind with 8 spoiled women! The food was 4 stars as I think the ceviche was not the best. Their chilaquiles were pretty good, (thus the name). Absolutely terrible service here. We came here for Mother's Day and I was told the wait was one hour. An hour and a half later, I go up and ask about eta and they stated that they can't give me a time. There's nothing that's more irritates than a restaurant that fails to track their time accordingly and leaves their clients waiting. We were only a party of 5. Then then they were calling names and wouldn't even go outside to call the people that have been waiting for a long time. From the moment we arrived we were greeted right away by friendly and welcoming hostesses. David, our waiter gave us some recommendations and we chose both the chilaquiles and the strawberry pancakes that includes a paleta. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Our birthday girl even got a special shot and dessert for her special day. This is their Big Papa Breakfast. Their cafe COFFE DE OLLA is good but it's way too sweet!! The atmosphere was okay, and the music is EXTREMELY LOUD, it ruins your entire time because you can't talk from how loud it is. The wait time is almost never less than an hour. read more

We found this little gem via IG and couldn't wait to try it!!! It did not disappoint and I was super happy I wore my stretchy pants cause I surly needed the room! We started off with the cafe de olla that came with a concha for dipping and it was delicious. Note that it does not come with a free refill...that was not mentioned when we asked for one to go. We order first the strawberry pancakes which for me that was breakfast but some might think it was dessert...it was so delicious and it came with the strawberry shortcake ice cream in top. We also order the chilaquiles red and green both we fuego , i prefer the green but that's my preference. My daughter and my granddaughter brought me here for Father's Day on Sunday. It was packed, but there were three available seats at the bar. When we sat down, we were greeted by Daniel. He was great. He made us feel like we were the only customers in the restaurant.. as crowded as the restaurant was, we didn't wait long for our food and when it arrived, it was awesome. Everything was cooked to perfection. Although it was very crowded, it gave you a feeling that we were all celebrating Father's Day together. I could go on and on. The food and drinks are fantastic, the decor is cute, the service is awful. Hubby and I stopped in this weekend for the build your own chilaquiles. We started with a michelada, which was sooooo good. Not watery and had just enough spice, nicely garnished, and it was huge! I went with the salsa de tomate and carnitas, Hubby did the salsa roja and the carne asada for our chilaquiles. Both were perfect. The sauce full of flavor, the meat tender and plentiful, the toppings fresh. The service however was pretty bad. Our server started out great, but as soon as she took our food orders, we didn't see her again until we had to approach the host stand to ask for our bill, roughly 45 min later. At first we thought maybe we paid up front but after seeing other servers dropping bills off at their own tables, it became clear our server was really backed up. New place opened up near me and gave it a try. Underwhelmed and overpriced. My wife got the chili rellenos. 18.00 for two small chilies. First order came, and she had to send it back. It was charred so hard she had to use a knife to cut through it and tasted burnt. Next one's were better as far as the cook, but not the rellenos we are used to. No whipped egg batter like we're used to. Plain chilies covered in sauce. Sauce was good, but overall, it was pretty much a letdown for 18.00! I had the molcajete plate I had came hot and boiling. Chicken, beef strips, charred chicken, shrimp, and cactus. Broth was good, and so was the shrimp. Hard char on the chicken. First bite of beef was pretty good. Next bite was so full of grissel it was like chewing on rubber bands. The side of beans and rice were tasty. For 25.00, I was expecting a better quality product. My dog enjoyed the leftovers.
