Staff was nice and food was alright. I ordered a Bloody Mary and the bartender said they made the mix in house but we watched them pour a pre mix for the drinks which is fine but why lie! Had a fun birthday celebration here. Lots of families in the bar area.
Went to chilaquiles and got the chilaquiles. Big portion and quite tasty -- I was pretty stuffed by the end. I'd say a little pricey on the whole but it was a good experience.

It was fine, but it was not what many people from Mexico would recognize as traditional chicharrón en salsa. Instead of chicharrón, it was more like pieces of pork in sauce. My husband ordered the machaca, which was okay, and our son had the Laly pancakes. They were cute, fun, and very large, but extremely sweet. The Bloody Mary was also just okay. Overall, the concept, atmosphere, and service are outstanding. The staff made us feel welcome, and the restaurant has a great energy. For us, the food was the weakest part of the experience, but the excellent service and lively environment made for an enjoyable visit.
Long wait on a Sunday NFL kickoff weekend. Gets hot by the door waiting for your table. Once we got seated everything went smoothly. Best chilaquiles in AZ. Clean but small dining area. Outdoor seating was available but it's too hot in AZ in September. Definitely will be going back to get my HDL/LDL higher than my HBP! It's a race!!!

This meal was a whole experience, not just dinner. I ordered the molcajete platter and it came out literally bubbling with flavor. The stone bowl was loaded with tender grilled steak, juicy shrimp, smoky chicken, spicy chorizo, roasted jalapeños, cactus, grilled green onions, and a thick layer of molten cheese soaking in rich, savory salsa. Every bite had something different going on smoky, spicy, salty, cheesy all balanced perfectly. The sides of fluffy Mexican rice and creamy beans were the comfort-food finish this giant platter deserved. Now let's talk about the margarita. This spicy margarita was a little bit of a disappointment as it was not spicy and was served warm. The chile-rim gave it just the right kick, the pineapple was fresh and bright, and the jalapeño added a smooth heat that didn't overpower the drink just not the spicy I was hoping for. Presentation was . From the sizzling bowl to the beautifully garnished margarita, everything looked great. Portions were generous enough to share (but I didn't want to). Final verdict: 8/10. Come hungry, leave happy, and definitely don't skip the pineapple jalapeño margarita.

I was in town visiting and wanted some good chilaquiles. Well what better place to try than a restaurant called Chilaquiles. The inside of the restaurant is pretty big with a bar area. My server was really nice and she recommended my meal from the menu. I tried the trio with 3 different sauces but my favorite is always a green sauce along with the Mexican coffee and a homemade concha. The coffee was really strong so if you like strong you'll like that but I'm not much of a coffee drinker so it wasn't my favorite. I also ordered a side of rice and beans but the chilaquiles was enough in its own.
Amazing food and service So comforting and filling. I'm still dreaming about the coffee. Ambiance was fantastic.
Our friend chose this spot for her birthday, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious comfort food, and chose the coffee served with a concha was such a great treat. Definitely a place worth checking out don't miss the chilaquiles!
This is such a cute, upscale Mexican restaurant with a big focus on chilaquiles. The green and orange sauces really stand out and everything else we tried was pretty good too. My favorite item was the jalapeño margarita. I don't like my margaritas sweet in any way and this one was perfect with hardly any sweetener at all. The tequila they used (Santoro) was incredibly smooth. My partner had the mango blended margarita and said it was delicious as well. For food, I had the cóctel de camarón. It could've used a few more shrimp y aguacate but overall still deliciosos. The kids had a chilaquiles trio and a burrito, both got two thumbs up. Our guest tried the molcajete de cielo, mar y tierra. She doesn't like nopales but said everything else was delicious. My partner had the chile relleno and really enjoyed it. Service was decent with friendly staff, but they did forget a couple of things. Nothing major, just could be a bit more attentive. My only other suggestion is to maybe turn up the AC a bit since it was a little warm inside. Overall, we left happy and full. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes. I'll be back for the jalapeño margarita.
Came here based on a hungry hotline recommendation for brunch. This place is Busy! We were seated at a high top table in the bar area, which was not ideal for having conversation, which is probably why others declined the high top table when offered. Not knowing any better we accepted. They had a live DJ playing music, but sadly it was VERY loud. This is where they lost a star from me. It was even difficult to hear the server. The restaurant was lively and service was excellent. The food was excellent! I ordered the Birria ramen, it is a little deceiving in the description of the dish as it says it is served with 3 Birria tacos, when actually it came with three tortillas filled with melted cheese, the Birria was the meat in the ramen. You could not get the tortillas apart to make a taco as the cheese was like glue. That aside, the Birria damn was delightful, spicy broth, ample noodles and meat, and eggs cooked as ordered. The potatoes in the dish had a nice flavor from the broth. Portions here are enough for two to share. The Mole chilaquiles were very good, nice mole sauce, my friend ate them all! The divorced chilaquiles were also amazing with nice meat and vegetables added. Lastly the corn quesadillas with chicken was a tasty meal that was devoured on the spot. Overall, this was a wonderful brunch spot that I would come to again, despite the loud music.
Well wifey wanted to try this place because she said everytime she drives by it's packed. Saturday morning 940ish it was pretty busy but no wait. Cool vibe in the restaurant and it was packed. Ordered menudo of course and the chilaquiles trio. Also orders the caffe de olla with concha. Caffe de olla brought back some memory of Mexico City. That's where I last tasted the caffe.. Caffe was yummy with nice cinnamon taste. Concha was also yummy nice and fresh. My menudo came and I initially I thought bowl was smaller than some of the other places. But that small bowl was pack with goodies. Broth had nice clean tasting and was not overly oily on top. The chilaquiles was something else.. I don't usually order it but I can say of all the ones I've had this place was the best. Red sauce was my favorite and every single bite of the chips it tasted fresh and crispy. Not one of them over double fried hard chips. Eggs were also cooked perfect. Over all the food was awesome and staffs were very friendly and attentive. Not too many times I come to a restaurant where my head move around looking at what other people are eating. I would definitely come back here again and try other dishes. Only thing bad I have to say is the music is little bit on the loud side (reminded me of being at a club back in the days ). Also the place is little on the small side with lots of people so it was loud and top it off with loud music. So if you can't handle or don't like loud noisy restaurant don't come here on busy day. Other small detail was that initially I told the server I was going to pay with card so I got 3% fee added to my bill that I paid cash for.. Lame..
This place is super busy and parking is limited. Valet parking is really the only way to go. The vibe in the restaurant is fun and we saw all types of people and families. I love the wall decorations and the bar area looks fun as well! Music was a tad loud but if you're going for brunch with the ladies it's a great spot! The menu is wide variety of breakfast and lunch. You can build your own chilaquiles too! They had some sopes that looked good as well. We will be back! Service was great too! read more

Reading prior reviews it seems to be a theme of the server saying they are out of concha's and then show up to the table with one. Same thing happened to me. And even afterwards people just sitting down were getting some so not sure what the deal is with them saying they're out. Had to try this place as it all looks amazing delicious via Instagram Went on a Sunday, wait wasn't too long and they had DJ playing. Too loud to talk and even the server commented on it. It's a great vibe but they could turn it down a bit. Food was amazing! I did not try the Toritos but my friends sent it back saying no shrimp in it and the server explained its small pieces which we only found two upon cutting one open. It was mostly filled with cheese. Overall love the vibe and food. Prices are as expected with everything going up. I had an entree and a concha with tip it was $30 Parking is a bit complicated. Not much in front as being shared in strip mall but can find some in back next to church. read more

Tried this place out for the first time. The place was busy but we were seated right away. Their menu has so many dishes I wanted to try I went with menudo. We also had the chilaquiles trio. Both were very full of flavor and large quantities. Drinks were flowing at all tables. Service was great quality of food was wonderful. The decor was nice and welcoming great place for a date, brunch was friends or girls brunch all around can't wait to go again. read more

The place looks nice, much bigger than I expected. Food looks nice too. They get point for looks and that's about it. The chilaquiles came out cold, one of salsas didn't have flavor to it. The toppings weren't evenly spread. Look at the onion in my picture, they're all on one side. I don't like my chilaquiles soggy, and the person's order next to me looked nice and crunchy. Mine was not like that. My husband ordered enmoladas which he said were too salty. That man loves salt and for him to say that, well... The pic with all the food is what we left, which is more than half. That's how much we DIDN'T like the food. Service was bare minimum but it depends on the waiter. Ours only stopped by to get the order (after people who were seated after us had already ordered) and to charge us. The table next to ours which was seated after us had their orders taken right away, drinks brought out, and food served before us, their waiter even stopped by to ask if everything was okay. They managed to snag us for 20% tip cause their screen wouldn't click out of that tip screen, otherwise it would've been 0. This is more than likely our first and last time here. read more

Finally went for the first time and was impressed with their menu as they got many options. We got chilaquiles & they were 10/10 & service was good. The only reason I give it a 4 stars was because their temp was at 84 degrees!! It was very warm in there & the place packed with people didn't make it any better. read more

we arrived to get seated down, we had to wait for bout 30 minutes, seems awhile but it went quick, and we got our seats as soon as one was ready. the food here was amazing and i love the chilaquiles and felt in love with it more. read more

Amazing and lively atmosphere! Would come back just for that! We sat at the bar, shockingly had no wait, walked right in when there was a line 30 people deep! Service was a little slow, even at the bar, but friendly nonetheless. Birria was delish and the torta was toasted to perfection. The trio was good, green sauce the best. The carne asada was ok but would recommend the birria instead as they were a little dry. Overall a fun experience would come back! read more

We love chilaquiles and had to try this spot! We did a build your own and enjoyed it. Wish we could have done combo sauces instead of just one but it was good. The ones on their menu look bigger than the build your own, for some reason. We also ordered a pancake for our daughter and a French toast. Those dishes were ok. They don't carry ketchup to be eaten with their potatoes, which I found strange. The food was all room temp when it came to our table and the service was very slow as it was hard to get our waitresses attention and had to ask someone else multiple times. We would consider coming back because we do love chilaquiles and the place has a nice vibe to it too. read more

We've been here on multiple occasions and the service is always good, food has always been good as well and drinks are always on point. We came to celebrate my brothers graduation today and I have never been so disappointed before. This is the last time we will be visiting this restaurant unfortunately. Food was terrible, drinks were not good and the service was okay not great. Potatoes were bland and boiled not crispy how they advertised it. My older brother got a sandwich we saw on the screen and when the waiter brought it over it looked nothing like it. The guacamole was bland and not worth the price. read more

Hosts were very welcoming and we were quoted a 20 min wait, but got called back way before! Service was great, Daniel took GREAT care of us, and was so kind and helpful. The food was fantastic! Build your own bowl is sooo nice! The Mexican coffee was perfect and came with pan on top! So cute! We will definitely be back! Oh, and there was a DJ playing great music! A bunch of my coworkers and I came here after work for happy hour. The service was very good because they were able to separate 16 different checks. That was awesome! However, I thought the food was just OK. It was nothing to write home about. The salsa and chips were a little bland. I got the taquitos and the presentation was nice, but the flavor fell flat to me. It's a cute place but I don't think that I will go back. There are too many other really good Mexican restaurants here in the valley to go to. I have been here a total of two times. Once on a random Tuesday and second on Memorial Day. My first time here was amazing. Food was great, vibes were great, and service was too. The pictures attached are from my first visit. They offer a free cheesecake and shot for your birthday which was a nice surprise. The cheesecake was delicious as well as The Big Papa breakfast, which I had. The chilaquiles and potatoes were a hit. Unfortunately, my second visit was nothing but disappointing. It started off by being told the wait time was 30 mins and we ended up waiting an hour and 15 mins. When we finally sat down it took another 15 mins to be greeted by our server. We were ready to order right away but it still took another 35 mins for everyone to receive their food. Food came out in separate times so we had to eat without each other. Our server unfortunately got the order incorrect as well. I had a mimosa and that was the highlight of my dining experience. When we wanted to checkout our server was no where to be found. After waiting what seemed like forever, I went up to the host stand to checkout. The manger told me he was incapable of helping me that the server can check me out. After waiting another 5 mins she finally was found. I never left so quick in my life! This was so frustrating, we took an out of state friend for breakfast here and it was embarrassing. Moral of the story, go on a random Tuesday where it's predicted to be slow. read more

I will start by saying the food is delicious, but our experience made it a 3/5. We were told it would be an hour and a half wait for 13 of us which we totally understand. It ended up being a 2 hour and 15 minute wait. They had a seating area outside and the benches did not feel wet, but after the heat hit them all of us have stains on our buttons because they spray painted the benches and the heat made it melt. Then they have a door that goes into the dining room and one by the front entrance; but the door in the dining room is locked so we had to have our elderly family members squish between 30 people standing in the entry way. It seems like it could be a very dangerous situation having so many people cramped by exits. Once we were seated the manager (edena) was screaming at her servers, calling them names and telling them not to greet any tables. Which was extremely unprofessional and not any way you should talk to anyone let alone employees trying to work hard through the mess the manager had created. Once we were seated, we were not greeted by a server for 30 minutes. (Our server was amazing but told us that the manager didn't want anyone putting in orders for an hour and told them to act busy and wait to grab drinks) (The dining room was maybe almost half full, so we were really confused) After an hour we got our drinks and were told we had to wait another 20 minutes to order since the manager was still yelling at servers. After we placed our order, we received our items at different times and it took up to an hour for the last person to get their food. Our server was so sweet and apologetic but it was super unfortunate these servers were getting abused and losing money for tables as well. The food was flavorful and tasty but 4/12 plates did come out very cold. But they were very quick to bring out a replacement. I would come again for the flavor of the food possibly on a slow weekday, but I cannot support a business that yells at their employees to the point to where they are crying. The taste, decor and concept is a great idea, just would be so much better if the dining experience was better. read more

Food, Flavor and Fun! Walking in you can certainly smell all the flavors! This family fun restaurant is definitely a MUST TRY! Music, staff and overall experience were amazing! Drinks: lemonade with mineral water (SO DELICIOUS! It's unbelievable!, sprinkled with Tajin) , Dr.Pepper and a coffee with a concha. You're here for a food review, so let's dive in! My party got the chilaquiles DF,Chilaquiles burrito, and Strawberry shortcake pancakes and the flavors were certainly bursting from the plate! The chilaquiles DF was so good I got the everything just like the menu and I will 100% be coming back to get it again! The chilaquiles burrito was huge (pictures do it no justice)! You will definitely be stuffed afterwards! Everything tasted fresh and made to order. The music had us feeling great, enjoyed the vibes from other parties and the overall atmosphere was uplifting and fun! The pancakes were over the top delicious! Had the perfect sweetness without feeling like it was overwhelming or too sweet! The strawberry flavor was the perfect balance with the fresh strawberries and the strawberry shortcake ice cream was the perfect add on to make it PICTURE PERFECT! 10/10 and I most definitely will be back again!! read more

This place is AMAZING. The aesthetic, the food and the customer service were all on point. Started with the Cafe de Olla which comes served with pan Dulce on top. The Pan was super soft & flavorful. The coffee was the perfect amount of sweet and very flavorful. I ordered the chilaquiles trio and this was the best ate of chilaquiles I've ever had. All three sauces were amazing and the carne was tender and flavorful. The customer service was the best I have experienced at any restaurant in a long time. Our server consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Please keep in mind that due to social media this place has become very popular so don't get frustrated with the wait, I promise it's worth it. read more

LOVE this place! I don't live close by, but I've come here now 3 times and it's sooo good! In the cooler weather I love to sit outside because the inside can get a little loud, but the food is amazing. Service is quick! I was told I'd have 25-30 minute wait that was more like 5 minutes. Definitely get there early because the wait can get long for the after-church rush. read more
I would like to start with what was good! The concha was soft and warm as if was freshly made. The ambience was good chill good music not too loud. The place over all has been over hyped. The food was not good at all. My husband got molcajete, my brother in law got the huevos rancheros they both had the same guisó different sauce. The potato's of the guisó was frozen potato's. potato's are too cheap to use frozen potatoes. I got the strawberry shortcake pancakes, they were ok, the cream cheese on top had some flavor. The service was not at its best waitress came a couple maybe two times, the kids eggs were not as ordered, one plate chilaquiles trio we had to ask for them because we had not received them. My husband had asked for tostadas de chicharrón and at 9am the place said there is no chicharrón. I asked for a side of bacon and waitress has to check if they had bacon!. The manager came out trying to fill tables when orders were not coming out correctly and you can tell she was focused on quantity not quality of service. The chef needs to find his inspiration. I would not come here again. It was not worth a 45 minute wait. The restaurant is not prepared for all the people they are receiving. read more

From start to finish it was bad. The wait was 45 min so I thought ok must be worth it. We sat down, the server came up and said "what would you like" no hello welcome nothing. Okay, she took our order I ordered the guacamole to start. First, my dad's food came out... 15 min later the other 2 plates came Out with the guacamole. Everything was horrible. The guacamole was nothing like the pictures on IG it was a total catfish. Yeaaah it was fresh but it had no flavor. No salt, no cilantro, no lime. Nothing. Next. For a place to be called chilaquiles you would think they would be the best thing on the menu. Nope. Canned sauce and maybe 1/4th cup of meat. Then the beans.... Canned. For guacamole, 2 teas, 1 milk, and 3 plates $109.... Garbage. Don't Come here read more

Absolutely terrible service here. We came here for Mother's Day and I was told the wait was one hour. An hour and a half later, I go up and ask about eta and they stated that they can't give me a time. There's nothing that's more irritates than a restaurant that fails to track their time accordingly and leaves their clients waiting. We were only a party of 5. Then then they were calling names and wouldn't even go outside to call the people that have been waiting for a long time. They said they would call you but a call was never received even after I left. read more

NOT BAD BUT COULB BETTER ! the place is super cute and "instagram" food like but the wait time wasn't bad for how many people were waiting. The servers were super nice and it was clean, the food smelled good and was a comfortable environment. When the coffee arrived it was amazing even the dark one ! The food was alright the birria ramen was the star for us as it had so much flavor super good!! the chilaquiles were very disappointing:( it was the name of the restaurant and we expected them to be spicer and there was no flavor! the rest was normal but the pancakes had a random yogurt sauce! read more
Idk how people give this place less than 5 stars. The food is authentic and PHENOMENAL. This was the second time I've been and will always be one of my top choices for brunch or dinner. I'm determined to eat my way through their menu lol today we celebrated a friend's birthday and had a group of 10. They do not take reservations but we called ahead to let them know. When we arrived they said it would be an hour for the table, which isn't odd for here. Plan to wait if you come on a weekend. However, our table was ready in about 15 min! We ordered so many different things, but I personally ordered the Breakfast Birria Ramen and Churro French Toast. Both were amazing! Ramen is a bit on the spicy side but I really enjoyed it, especially with the addition of runny eggs. The Churro French Toast was so creamy and delicious! Definitely would reorder both. You also have to get the Cafe de Olla. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! We told our waitress we were celebrating a birthday. At the end of our meal they came out with big flashers/sparklers and the DJ puts on "Shots" by lil Jon. They bring out a slice of cheesecake and a shot of tequila!
