I mean how often can you cut fried chicken tenders with a fork? The breading was so light and airy. I upgraded to the spicy fries with my chicken and it did not disappoint. The fry seasoning was so good I kept dipping my chicken in it. Definitely ate way too much! The cost was low, the portions large, and the quality top notch! I would definitely recommend for families and groups. The service was fantastic. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed at all times but was not pushy or overbearing. The service was great. The TVs playing K pop were definitely different. You don't see that everywhere. I loved the beef bulgogi. My wife enjoyed the chicken yangneyeom bowl. We both went with mild. I've dined there three times. I got the spicy once. Just way too much red pepper for my palate. I love heat. My wife likes spicy as well, but we like tasting the spice. Neither of us like a building heat where you stop tasting the food. Many like that, but be aware the spicy is red pepper based. We found the food extremely delicious. Their chicken is cooked to perfection and the beef is flavorful and tender. It's a great place for a meal. Friendly service and atmosphere, comfortable seating, and great food. The Wednesday night we came there were a few people who left right before us and a couple of people who picked up orders while we were there. So not a lot of people at all. But I hope they are doing good business because we really enjoyed our experience. You get so much food! My husband and I both got the small version of our choice and it was so much we both took home leftovers. And it was delicious! Tried this new Korean fried chicken spot in Madison with high expectations since soy garlic boneless chicken is a favorite. Service was inattentive. All four drinks sat empty, and we had to flag the server down for refills. A request to try a small amount of yangnyeom sauce was denied. Soy garlic is only available on bone-in wings, with no boneless option. The bone-in wings were decent. The ChikinJip Fries were actually very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We got cheese tteokbokki, beef bulgogi bowl, and original Korean fried chicken wings in spicy. My daughter rated her tteokbokki 7/10. The beef bulgogi bowl was delicious, the meat was well seasoned and tender, I would have liked it better with less lettuce. My daughter rated her Korean fried chicken wings 10/10. It's a shame but the powder seasoning they put on wings and fries is some of the awfully worst stuff I've ever had. Wife tried it after not believing me and spit it out in napkin. Fresh new place to try out! Good food, fun atmosphere with unique dishes! Top 40 Pop music playing in background with huge TV screens muted are all around with various K-POP shows and U.S. sports. Great for K-POP crazed teens and families to bond while eating great food. If you're not into watching K-POP (with subtitles), baseball and basketball (seasonal) sports are on the other large screens. Yangnyeom boneless chicken mild with mild fries are still pretty spicy (hence star off) but even though I'm a wimp when it comes to spice, I love this spicy, sweet combo. In fact, I craved it! This is my 2nd time having it here. Had to come back with my teen! My daughter tried the strawberry Milkis soda and liked it. Her chicken and fries were good too. I recommend trying this restaurant with the whole family. It's a fun contemporary Korean experience. Service is attentive with enough workers so you aren't waiting for anything too long. Parking can be a challenge with neighboring businesses but there is more in the back. There's a frozen yogurt place in the same shopping center to cool your tongues off from any spiciness you inadvertently ordered. There are non-spicy options like my daughter's sandwich but you'll really be missing out if you don't try the unique spices. Stopped here to get Korean food. Ordered the Korean spicy chicken and spicy bulgogi. The chicken was not the traditional Korean fried chicken and was not spicy. It was well fried so I gave 2 stars. But the taste was sub par. The place did not have the Korean holy trinity Gochujang for sauce. The bulgogi was also not spicy. It was bland. There is nothing Korean other than the name of the dishes. The service was great. Food not good. I packed it up. Took it home and made a Korean sauce for the chicken. What threw me off was on the wall was a picture of Korean fried chicken. But it's not what they serve. The ambience was confusing. It had bless this kitchen pictures of Korean food they don't have. They don't have bibimbap or kimchi. What a great place! Huge portions of delicious food. I got the Yangnyeom boneless wings and they were a wonderful combination of sweet and spicy. I highly recommend the Chikinjip spice on the fries, it's a very different taste combination of salty and sweet that I really enjoyed.
