We browsed with clear intent to purchase for nearly 20 minutes and were treated as though we were invisible. What we did receive was surveillance. An employee followed us at a distance the entire time -- not to help, but to watch. Then a regular customer walked in. The transformation was immediate. Multiple employees rushed to greet him, addressed him as "Doctor," asked about his weekend plans, and provided the attentive, personalized service that had apparently been unavailable to us moments earlier. For context: my husband is also a physician. The difference? They didn't know that. Luxury retail isn't about recognizing certain titles or catering to familiar faces. It's about consistency, professionalism, and making every customer feel welcome. What we witnessed was selective hospitality -- enthusiastic deference for the "right" person, suspicion and indifference for the rest. That isn't upscale. It's exclusionary. We won't be returning, and we'll gladly spend our money at Mr. Wicks who understands respect should not be conditional.

I was returning a tuxedo today and…read morewas unaware of the late fee and I of course paid it, $20 dollars a day, also was concerned about the lack of time and consideration of my son when he was trying to pick out his tuxedo and also his tuxedo didn't fit but the owner had no time for him to try it on upon pick up. I expressed my concerns and was yelled at as I walked out the door. My dad called back and to express concerns and the person denied raising his voice as I was leaving. Make sure the door is closed all the way before you say anything next time. Sorry if this hurts feeling but they will not get our business and apparently it's the customers fault at that store!! This post is not about the 80 dollars it's about being called a liar when I shared concerns about the way my 18 son was treated while getting his tux, no time for the customer, this business needs to learn to apologize and value the customers concerns. So sad I have to put 1 star by the way I was treated today.

This place has TERRIBLE customer service. I walked in on a Sunday and was literally the ONLY…read morecustomer in the store. I walked past the service counter located towards the front of the store where TWO employees were so self consumed in their cellphones, that I was never even greeted or even acknowledged. I'm from Nashville, TN where there is real southern hospitality and greetings are a standard when someone walks into a place of business. When a customer walks into an establishment, at least look up to acknowledge their existence! Anyway, besides the ridiculous first encounter I had with the two lovely ladies who were supposedly employees, they have a fantastic selection of boots. I ended up getting a pair despite such a distaste for the quality of service due to me falling in love with a pair of Ariats. Overall, Crossroads has a wonderful selection but poor customer service. I won't be back again.

Small, but nice selection of high quality boots and clothing. Great selection for women.read more

I browsed around for a while to see if someone would eventually ask if I needed help, but no one did. There were two white women shopping in the store, and I noticed the employees were actively assisting them. I'm African American, and I was standing nearby browsing on my own. There was also another gentleman who was assisting one of the customers, and at no point did anyone step away for even a moment to acknowledge me or ask if I needed help. I understand employees may be helping other customers, but a simple "Hi, we'll be with you shortly" goes a long way. As a African American customer, being the only person in the store who wasn't acknowledged while white customers were being assisted made me uncomfortable and left me questioning why I was treated differently. I ultimately left without purchasing anything. Customer service and making every customer feel welcome matters, and unfortunately, I did not feel welcomed during my visit.

My daughter picked & tried on 3 homecoming dresses while the owners effortlessly zipped her in and taught her how to adjust in each dress like real Fairy Godmothers. I mentioned to them we may peek at prom dresses too. We are 6 hours from home and we know she is going to prom. They let her pull dresses to her hearts content- so incredibly accommodating. We "ooohhed" and "ahhed" while the owner taught me to take pictures at a certain angle to see the whole gown in one picture in her mirrors: brilliant. We gushed over THE dresses. I have no idea where we go from here for her Junior Senior prom dress wise... this experience was absolutely everything I prayed for and looked forward to when I learned I was pregnant with her. She tried on at least 15 dresses. Truly the most encouraging, personal, lovely, and wonderful experience. We will be driving back every summer for her dresses for the next 2 years.
