The shop owner was so friendly and kind after overhearing that I was from OOT. They suggested a few great places to visit while being in the area so I certainly bookmarked them and plan on visiting. They have a wide array of outdoor items from coolers, tumbers, to backpacks. What really drew me in was their selection of little knickknacks that were rite up my alley! I purchased a few items and walked out happy with my purchases! Fortunately they also have an online store so I can get whatever I wanted in store but had no room in my carry on bags!

We purchased the coat, had the measurements and pinning for the alterations done and arranged for the coat to be shipped to us since we live out of town. It arrived and it is a joke. They didn't take it in as promised and they shortened ONE sleeve by two inches and it was crooked. I'm uncertain if the sleeve on this very expensive coat can be salvaged. Go somewhere else. I think the alterations must have been done by a one eyed drunk monkey. I feel taken by this snooty bunch.

I purchased the dress and saw that the confirmation said Final Sale, but then said $25 return .well which is it? I received the dress and it was beautiful but not a good fit. I went to return based on the confirmation I received but the computer said "Not Returnable" I called corporate and they told me sorry they are strict with returns, even though I sent them a photo saying there was a $25 return free. They then said they would have to get the issues fixed with their computer division, so they agreed this was a real confusion. I actually helped them by letting them know they needed to fix two issues. They still refused my return. The dress is in perfect condition. I found this whole interaction very one sided. It is absolutely clear they don't understand the value of a customer. Customer Service is definitely an issue with Dillards. They should have taken into consideration their mistakes and offered me a return. After all this I noticed the dress was extremely long. The description reads approx 62" but in reality it is 67" Dillards has an excuse which is one sided. The customer service department does not understand that they need to give in when there are errors. They will not admit to any fault. For this reason they lose my business and no doubt others. Approximate does not mean 5 inches! Epic fail Dillards.

The best they would do is give a 20% discount ($69) back to a gift card since that was my form of payment even though I still have the original receipt. Disgraceful. They don't know how much business they just lost by insulting customers. I decided not to buy any gear here. As a spot check, I compared a Camelback that sells here for $150 to online prices. Online it was $90. Again, it is worth supporting local outfitters. In this case, the markups were too high & the service was lacking. I had been in the store for some time without being greeted or offered shopping assistance (came in to look at Hobie catamaran gear & possible gifts for a group of teenagers). I'm new to Little Rock and stopped by several local "outdoor stores" with no luck because they essentially only sell clothing. Luckily I found "Ozark Outdoor Supply" that actually stocks "gear." This store had everything I was needing plus knowledgeable staff that were fun to visit with while shopping. The expedition was successful on Cotopaxi and Chimborazo. I thank Ozark Outdoor for their help. I look forward to going back and getting the scoop on the local outdoor scene.
