The sections aren't overloaded and they made good decisions about how their merchandise is presented. Quality sporting goods and apparel, UA, Browning, Elite, etc. Their branded line is of top quality too. My son walked around the corner and came back, "Dad, Cliff Lee is right over there." It was him alright. He's native to Little Rock. After he left, the employees were talking about it and apparently my son was the only one to recognize him without being told it was him.

I love Bass Pro Shop and always like to visit one when I travel…read more All Bass Pro Shops are dog friendly but what surprised me about this particular location was that I saw a little pet waste station that provided plastic bags, disposable gloves. paper towels and disinfectant wipes towards the back of the store. That is a very thoughtful little station and greatly appreciated that for pets that have accidents. But the only thing that would be missing is a trash can nearby. Anyways, I thought this Bass Pro Shop location seemed a little smaller than some of the other locations that I have visited on my travels. But they still have the core items that you would want to purchase at this store that you can find at the other locations. Employees were friendly and the ladies restroom was clean upon my visit. Had a positive shopping experience and would come back if I lived here.

He recently visited Dan's Whetstone website (http://www.danswhetstone.com/), but wanted to visit the business in person to see if he could get larger whetstones than what's sold to the public to sharpen his larger knives. At the time, two addresses popped up on the Internet, one in Hot Springs and another address in Pearcy. We went to the Hot Springs address first which accepts deliveries, and there was a sign on the door with the Pearcy address. Since I knew where I was going I headed west on Hwy 70 and banged a left up a narrow gravel road (Hilltop Road) about a mile to Dan's Whetstone on the right side, a warehouse building. We walked inside the building and the warehouse was filled with lots of whetstones. We were greeted by an employee who went back and got Danny the owner to help my Dad out. My Dad brought a couple knives with him to test out on several sizes and types of whetstones (coarse to fine). Danny was friendly and very knowledgeable and answered my Dad's questions. Some of the whetstones were imperfect with minor blemishes, so significant discounts were given off the list price. My Dad is very happy with the whetstones he uses to sharpen his knife collection. I ordered a case of shells, and a call. upon receiving my package, there was one box (9 boxes short of a case) and it was the completely wrong ammo, not what I ordered. The lady at customer service was very rude, arguing with me and telling me that I did get the correct shells, when I had them in my hand and had emailed her an image of what was received. they were not in fact the correct shells. She informed me that she didn't know when the rest of the shells would be shipped and they appeared to be out of stock (they were listed in stock on their online inventory) and after arguing with me about that, I told her I'd be glad to pay for the one box, but I wished to cancel the order. She told me it could take a while to process, which I do understand, and that she had set the refund in motion and to check back in two weeks is when I should expect to see it. Fast forward three weeks (left one extra week for good measure) and still no return. I call and inquire, I am told that there is no refund to be seen but after explaining everything, and seeing that there had been issues with the file, he set the return in motion. Fast forward 4 days, I see the refund come through, but for the value of the shells only, not the call. I politely inquire again, and and told that he can see where the call was returned, it not refunded so set the refund in motion. And now I am patiently waiting another 2-3 weeks (with business days only) to see a full refund from a completely botched order. I understand that we all make mistakes, but the way this was handled, the return not being set in motion initially, and then the initial phone call with the lady arguing with me telling me I did receive the correct item when it definitely was not the same box of shells I had ordered, really all just turned me off of MPW. I grew up ordering out of the catalogs as a young kid, and MPW catalogs inspired me to always want to hunt flooded timber green heads form a young age. Rest in peace to what used to be a good company, and thank you for the times it was good, but I think I am committed Roger's customer now. Save yourself the hassle, don't shop here.
