They're so unbelievably thorough and by "They are" I'm being inclusive of the company in it's entirety. My most recent visit was because I was buying a boat on Craigslist and they did a full diagnostics (plus "everything under the hood") on the boat. They where so inclusive with myself the buyer and also the seller. W.P.M insured we both had all the details so we could come to an informed decision. They'd been extremely fair and everyone I spoke with was brilliant with every and any question or concern myself and the seller had with the boat, being a 2000 Nitro. The answers from Mike and Craig where so intricate and complex in the magnitude of there astounding knowledge but if I gave the smallest hint of not understanding they would more than take the time to explain it, Mike especially. The pricing was economical and for the amount of care and consideration for your vessel "worth every penny" in every sense of the phrase. Places I've gone in the past have made me feel like if I even sought out the thought of a question that they where being interrogated! Wilson's though the honest and best way to sum it up is they made me feel my time, money, and vessel is as valuable as there own. Every time I go there it's just an enjoyable experience. I had it 15 years with no problems. Then a drive bearing went out. Only because I forgot to pull the plug and boat filled with rain. They repair it for 600.00. Insurance company said they didn't cover boats that sank on dry land lol. It has now been 20 years and because of a outdrive leak the outdrive needs repair. Guess who I am taking it to! After a long boating season, my poor boat needed help. I have had numerous poor experiences with…read morethe Mastercraft dealer in town, and had in the past had positive dealings with Shasta Inboards. $1,090 later, I go to take the boat out, and they have removed the drain plug from the rear, not replaced it, and it is nowhere to be found. Not trusting that they wouldn't have removed the middle t-handled plug, I unsnapped the carpet to remove the center bilge access and they had cross-threaded it in trying to put it back and and jammed it. Cannot open it. No idea if the center drain plug is in or not. It is 101 degrees outside, a Sunday, and I cannot take my boat out, am out $1090 and have ZERO confidence that any of the work was done right. It makes me sad, there is nowhere to take a boat to have it worked on in Redding. I suppose there are so many boaters and so few places to have them worked on that any kind of service is accepted. Right now I just want to sell my boat, this is too much work and too depressing.

I explained I would be leaving the lake Sunday so that wouldn't work. Service Manager said bring it in today we'll see what we can do. Got there an hour later and they pulled mechanic off of another job to work on my issue. I thought I'd have to leave for a day, mechanic asked if I'd mind waiting about an hour. They not only fixed, hooked up trailer to my truck and I was out of there in less than 60 minutes. It cost half of what my son paid in the bay area 6 years ago for identical work. These guys are great, entire staff friendly and just wanted to get us back on the lake. I could not have been more pleased, especially since it cost much less than I was anticipating. Great business, highly recommended.
