It mixes industrial and classic touches with cozy leather booths, stylish décor, and an open, lively energy that still feels relaxed. It's polished enough for a special occasion but comfortable enough to linger over one more coffee, think business casual vibes. If the weather's nice, the patio is a great option too. The real MVP was our server, Katelynn. She handled all 8 of us by herself the entire time and never missed a beat. Our drinks were always fresh, and she stayed a step ahead of the table. Great solo performance. I split two entrées with my bro, which I highly recommend if you can't decide: California Burrito: Very savory, with creative sauces that set it apart from the usual breakfast burrito. Eggs Benedict: Well put together with quality ingredients. It's a classic done right. Potatoes: Fresh and delicious. I don't normally care for breakfast potatoes, and these still won me over. We left full, happy, and already planning a return trip. Bonus: The Forum Carlsbad shops are right nearby if you want to walk it off afterward, which we did. Cheers!

Unfortunately, we did have to swing at gnats several times while sitting at our booth inside. There's a good amount of TVs on the walls for entertainment. The figs were too big for the tiny slices and not enough cheese. My daughters kid cheeseburger was very bland. I know its for kids but my kids have standards. The beer was delicious and I appreciate the variety they offer. The ranch was also very good.

Dogs are welcome at any table (both inside and outside), which was a huge plus since we had our pup with us. The location is easy to get to, pretty much right off the 5 freeway. The restaurant provides a self-serve sauce bar with plenty of sauce options. Nice filling, healthy snack. The market has a variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, including edible ones, a small Café with hot and cold, freshly made drinks, including the option of ones with vegan plant milk, as well as a small baked goods case full of vegan cookies and muffins. Nice selection of interesting drinks, including Matcha & Ube. A nice selection of vegan items for sale. This very modern up scale barn is on a spacious property with ample outdoor hard seating, including individual chairs, both metal and wood picnic tables with benches, hardwood Adirondack chairs around a large fire pit in the back. The outdoor pizza kitchen has a variety of made to order cooked in front of you pizzas including vegan (must ask for vegan cheese substitute) or gluten-free egg, white and cauliflower crust. The Cook said most of the pizzas can be made with the vegan cheese. Included a few nice options with pesto sauce, truffle, mushroom, and more. After seeing a few come out out of the oven with the bubbled crust, I'm looking forward to returning and giving one a try. It seemed to be the favorite menu item of the outdoor diners, as the tables were full of them. The hostess, who claimed she was also vegetarian was quick to point out all the vegetarian options some can be converted to vegan by omitting the cheese or dairy ingredient. There's a nice tall bar upstairs with stools and one TV for watching news or sports. Apparently they have a brunch weekends only with a menu that also looks very inviting. The property has a large selection of bottled wines, a micro brewery and a coffee bean brewery. Be forewarned though that the portion was very generous & is probably enough for most people to share. I had the fresh mushroom, goat cheese and spinach omelette. It came with fried potatoes and a scone. I appreciated that both the mushrooms and spinach were clearly fresh & not overcooked, & the amount of goat cheese was perfect. The potatoes were well seasoned and crisp, not at all greasy. The scone was a cornbread scone, not at all dry, and delicious. Wait staff was attentive, and made sure our drinks were full. There's parallel street parking throughout the area, so you might get lucky and find a spot nearby. I ended up parking on one of the side streets, which worked out perfectly. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and it was definitely busy. We had to wait a little while for a table because several tables still needed to be cleaned before they could seat new guests. The staff was incredibly friendly, though, and we were seated as soon as they could. It did take about 15 minutes before a server was able to come over and take our order, but the restaurant was completely packed, so it's something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. After spending the day at the beach, we were really just in the mood for drinks. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, which can be served with Tajín, sea salt, or no rim at all. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, large open windows that let in plenty of fresh air, and a fun, lively vibe that makes it a great place to relax after a beach day. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the ambiance and cocktails, just be prepared for a little wait if you visit during peak hours.
