I loved my rolled beef tacos! My friend and I had to eat a quick, on-the-run meal today, and we both were very happy! We both ordered the same thing: 4 rolled beef tacos with guacamole, sour cream and shredded cheese. They were so fresh and yummy! I was pleasantly surprised at how long the heat from the fresh salsa lingered. It had a great flavor, but the heat was just right-- not too hot that it burned my mouth, but it really enhanced the tacos. This seems to be a "mom & pop" joint that continues to survive during these rough pandemic times and manages to continue serving up decent grub to patrons. This shop is located in a strip mall nestled between iTan and Subway. There are a few tables set up in front. Inside, the number of tables are obviously limited to help keep patrons spaced apart and provide a straight path to the order counter. The order counter has plastic "shields up" for safety. The important thing here is the food. From the tortillas to their beans, the food here is pretty good. Here's what was ordered: - breakfast burrito with ham, potatoes, eggs, salsa fresca and cheese - carnitas plate with rice, beans and corn tortillas - quesadilla Breakfast burrito: I never order ham in my breakfast burritos, but my curiously got the better of me because I rarely see it offered. My mistake. Shoulda gone with bacon. Still, it was decent burrito with plenty of potato, egg and ham throughout. Carnitas plate: The carnitas and beans were good. Tender and moist. However, the amount of carnitas was noticeably smaller than other shops, but that could be par for the course in the area, given higher overhead costs like rent being near the beach. There is nothing worth mentioning about the rice. It was just there and didn't look like it would make you sick. The tortillas were good; wrapped in foil and kept warm even after a brief drive to the beach on an overcast morning. Quesadilla: Solid and simple. Huge tortilla with well-melted cheddar inside. Admittedly, it's a bit divey-looking inside, but that has no real bearing on if the food is any good. I patronize plenty of shops in way sketchier neighborhoods that look much worse inside than this place. As long as the food is solid, I'm down. If I'm in the area again, I'd consider stopping by for another breakfast burrito (with bacon) or something something for lunch. This is a solid joint. read more

Same name, same great food same friendly prompt service. And ease of getting in and out. No complaints here. It's easy to find, as it is in the Vons strip center on the West side easy access off I5 next to Domino's and Subway. The regular breakfast burrito with avocado slices and hot salsa inside is . Word of mouth. My nephew was home ill last December and asked for Jorge's chicken soup and raved about Jorge's food and salsa which we picked up to take a care package. Yesterday when we were in the neighborhood we stopped by Jorge's to pick up breakfast burritos for the next morning's breakfast. Why did we wait so long to eat here? We just has a simple bacon, egg and potato burrito that had delicious pico de gallo inside, and the red salsa that was on the side was killer. Basically I came into this plaza saw Jorge's read a few others yelpers reviews and it was all about the chicken soup as that's what's totally yummy for a morning breakfast. The soup had chicken avocado a good mount of spices and some rice overall supper yummy and just right for what it was. On another visit I grabbed a breakfast burrito with bacon it was decent and just tasted all around good with the salsa inside as well as what I was given with it. Of the few times I came here it was all around good with friendly service and some of what's good it's only to my guess when I'll be back here again but who knows how long tell it will be that time of year again :) Seriously though that soup is yummy just get it! read more

Jorge's really used to be my go to burrito place. However, since the pandemic I've noticed quite a decline in the quality of their burritos. The past few California burritos that I've gotten have been about 75% potatoes with only traces of carne of asada. Im not quite sure what has changed but definitely not going in the right direction. Hopefully, they catch on to this and get their quality back to where it used to be. read more

Ordered a California burrito the other day, sour cream was completely curdled and rancid, it's was unreal that someone would put this in a burrito and serve it, it looked and smelled unmistakable, we wanted to support this place because it's near by and we have heard good things. I know things may not be super fresh considering corona virus, but this was a safety issue that was complete unacceptable. I called and the gentlemen that answered was very nice, but he didn't offer to fix the situation, he kept telling me to substitute guacamole next time or ask for more cheese. Very disappointed. Also just found this review from The other location. I didn't mention this in my review because the curdled sour cream was the issue I had let people about due to safety. But this is elegantly what happen to us, $21 was our total, we were charged $41. Unacceptable. read more
