Our service was awesome here - for a casual bar spot, that is what really stood out to me most. Our waiter gave me the most sincere, kind compliment and it really made my night?! Just overall helpful, quick, genuine service. We went at 8pm on a Saturday and it was full but not so much that we couldn't get a spot. Cozy ambiance and neighborhood vibes even in the heart of downtown. Lots of TVs! The wings were awesome and lived up to the hype! I don't know if they beat Serum's in Anoka for me, but definitely top tier. But my favorite part was lowkey the fries! How are they so good?! Incredible! We got the 8-piece wings and fries basket and it was great to share for a late night snack. Definitely will be back!

This is a purist experience! Crispy skin, juicy wings! I love the ambiance here too! Plenty of booths and tables, but also a huge bar to sit at as well. Weird, but there are other items... burgers, hot dogs, pimento cheese dip for snackin' Parking: they have a pay lot adjacent to the building; otherwise, plan on street parking. What I support for this establishment is less about its food but more about its message and the way…read moreit serves communities. Ever since 2020, the climate surrounding the George Floyd Square has changed dramatically, and this establishment has become an even stronger integral part of the community as the square itself had represented how the community thrives with its people. A lot of respect for the establishment from that perspective. In terms of food, I would say the soul food, which contained mostly sides, were the main highlight for me. The mac & cheese was salty enough. The fries were solid in a "you can't really go wrong with it" type of way. The candied yams had enough sweetness. The collard greens could taste better but standards must be lower when they're not homemade. I also enjoyed the catfish fillets as they were fried to preserve enough hotness and softness. A lot of what they served, they made on the spot, which was what may be causing longer wait for some. Meat-wise, a lot of items could use further improvement because they were too dry, such as the smoked wings and the beef brisket. The wings were dry to the point that they condensed and got extremely salty. The brisket relied a lot on the sauce and the existing fat on the meat for juiciness while the meat itself didn't have a lot of flavor or juice. As for the ribs, they had some seasoning, and tasted just fine, and weren't as dry. But I have had ribs in Texan barbeque places before and knew what "seasoned" ribs were like and therefore concluded that the ribs here were not spectacular. With all that said, however, I still will return here as often as I can because I love supporting this business. The person serving me was very hospitable and patient. I still got some pretty solid barbeque even if it's not Texas. Besides, outside just the barbeque food, the soul food was solid, like I had mentioned above.

The spot is casual, but clean and well organized! There's a bar with plenty of TVs for sports, and then other tables for groups of 2-6 people! I grabbed a spot at the bar since I was there by myself. The bartender was pretty casual, but efficient and friendly during my stay! I went with the classic Rush Hour 4, since that was what I had seen most on social media! It was delicious perfection! The fried rice is fresh, with some veggies to give it a bit of uniqueness. The chicken tenders are the star...crispy, juicy, lovely flavor! The addition of the Yum Yum sauce is lovely for the chicken OR the rice! I can't wait to come back and bring my friends!

If you're in a hurry, best to order ahead, as it takes about 15 minutes to prepare. In any case, well worth the wait. They were open until 11 and had a great beer selection with an inside/outside option. My wife wanted to watch some of the Stanley Cup so we opted for inside. Based on his interactions we decided to get chicken tenders (Nashville) and fries and a few more beers. Overall this is a great, inviting environment. I can't recommend visiting here enough. Seriously, I've probably had everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. They have an extensive collection of beers that will please anybody, with some of the best Hazys and best Sours in town, and also cocktails that work for folks that don't want a beer. The patio is superb, and although you sometimes share it with a passing train, it's tucked away and is a nice separation from the business of the surrounding north loop. I'd argue the wings are easily top 3 in the whole state, they're always crispy, and the monthly specials are clearly thought over and iterated on by talented chefs that want to try new and unique things. The pizza is also probably the best Detroit style in the city, try the Elote and you'll see what I mean. Staff is a hoot, they're all super nice, great to talk to, and have honest opinions about their own menu. Seriously, if you're anywhere near the downtown area, go here.

It was a little garlic heavy but I do know that for Korean food they do use a lot of garlic so that's fine. It was just a personal thing The thing that I had the most issue with was the service and the staff when I walked in and looked at the menu. The prices were a little deceiving because they hadn't changed it to what the normal price is outside of the the 11am-3pm time window. Then the cashier proceeded to explain why it was that much and different combos that are proof that it's a cheaper deal. I specifically asked for my food to come in a to-go container and, because he was on his phone the entire time that I was ordering, hear me say that so my food came out on a normal platter. Which is fine just a little inconvenient. Then this couple came into the restaurant, that didn't look like they worked there, went right back into the kitchen, which made me very uncomfortable because I'm really big on cleanliness especially around food so I ended up not eating all of my food for that reason. The couple bites of food I had was delicious. I just think that food safety and professionalism needs to be worked on for sure. Probably won't be back, which is a bummer. I hope they work through their problems!
