Small Wings (10 pc) Soy Garlic & Original

I really enjoyed my experience here. I had about an hour before I needed to be at the airport so I looked for a new restaurant to try in Atlanta before I left. The service was great, food was hot and flavorful. The restaurant itself was very clean. My only issue is that they don't have a drink fountain machine and the water was being poured out of a pitcher without a filter so I ended up buying a canned drink. I'll definitely come back the next time in ATL!

I was chauffeuring a friend who was in town visiting and wanting to"good chicken"...she found this place and we stopped in. One of our requirements in addition to good food was that the place needed parking. We were able to park for free in the attached garage. My friend had the wings (of course) and I had a teriyaki chicken bowl, which is chicken and veggies on top of rice. I wanted the bulgogi bowl, but they were out of that. I also was a bit tired, so I ordered a Korean Mixed Coffee. I didn't try the wings, but I enjoyed the egg roll better than my bowl. The coffee was the best though! It tasted like a melty coffee milkshake...YUM!! The bathroom has a code that patrons have to get from the staff. It's clean on the inside. I'd go here again, but I'd try something different. They have a bulgogi burger that sounds intriguing.

Update: Revisited recently and the food was better than last time. Rice was well seasoned and wings were extremely juicy. I got the sweet lemon pepper this time. Service was great and I'll be back!

We wanted to try something new, so we grabbed three different flavors from Chicken on Fire! At first I thought the wings were a bit pricey, but there were very large and that makes up for it. The service was fine and the inside looked nice enough. I lived in Korea for a couple years and was extremely excited to try more of their fried chicken. Chicken on Fire simply fell flat to me. They didn't taste very authentic in my opinion. While the chicken was big, crispy, and cooked well, it was extremely greasy and lacking flavor. The sweet & spicy chicken was the only one with flavor. The honey garlic and sweet chili flavors seemed like they were simply fried and tossed in a sauce without being seasoned. Maybe I caught them on an off day, and can come back again soon!

Me and my daughter had the sweet & spicy and my son had bbq. These were delicious and cooked to perfection. The only thing I didn't like was the fries. But the service was amazing. There was only two people working and they didn't miss a beat. Food was hot and came out quickly.

The food is always good here! The atmosphere is relaxing. The chicken flavor is honey lemon pepper.

Thankfully there is a parking garage near the restaurant so you don't have to worry about parking issues. It's a small spot and most people order takeout so when we dined in there were not much people. The staff were great and they accommodated us well. The food was ok. I did not like the fried rice at all. For a chicken spot I expected the chicken to be fire but sadly it was not. Luckily they had lots of sauce options so I was able to dip my chicken to make it more enjoyable.

Moist and messy but bursting with flavor Bilgogi burger!

This place recently opened up and the space was formerly Farm Burger. Not many Korean places close to downtown so this one is a gem. Absolutely loved the Bilgogi burger and only complaint was it was a little too sweet for my taste. Wish they would replace the sweet with some fire and live up to their name. Fries were hot and fresh with some unique seasonings but standard frozen fries like you get from Nick's across the street. The boba tea was way too sweet for me so they need to work on that. My partner got the pork rice and loved it. I will definitely be back but they positively must get rid of the dirty mop water smell we came into on our visit. Almost made me change course and go to Nick's. USE A FRESH MOP WITH CLEAN MOP WATER from now on ok? Nice server that worked there!

What I had was good. I got the fries Cajun style. Which I liked. I got the (8) pc since it was my first time here. I tried the Chicken On Fire Flavor, which isn't too hot. It was a decent flavor. And I tried the Sweet Spicy Flavor. Which I really enjoyed as

5/5 Got the soy garlic jumbo wings 8ct for 21.39$ Wings were big and very tasty Chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and juicy. I would definitely come back here again!!

Chicken tender combination with Regular Fried Rice. Flavors are Chicken on Fire and Soy Glaze.

Such a great meal! Large portions for the price point. Super crunchy! My boyfriend and I tried the chicken on fire, soy glaze, sweet & spicy, and honey garlic and our favorite was chicken on fire. If you don't like heat, the soy glaze was also great. The sauce that comes on the side was a happy surprise too. I'm so happy to know this spot is close to home!

Let me start by saying that I had high expectations for this place and chose to come here as my solo afternoon lunch date. I came for the wings and fried rice and that's what I ordered. I ordered the 10 small wings half honey lemon pepper and half sweet chili, fried rice and a bubble green tea. The presentation was beautiful. The good - the fried rice was really good, I enjoyed it a lot. The bad - the mango tea was tasty but the pearls were disgusting. I've never had pearls that were so flavorless. I even tried to let the pearls sit in the tea for a while to soak up flavor from the tea but that never happed. The ugly - the chicken wings are all breading and undercooked. The flavors were good but there was hardly any meat and when I finally looked down and seen pink, I was turned off (after already eating like 5). The service could improve. I sat inside and worked for about an hour and a half and every order took forever to be made. The staff of two seemed to only enjoy each other and had no spunk when addressing customers. I didn't notice much of the ambiance. The place is not big. They have free garage parking which is always a plus! I will definitely not be returning here.

The wings were all well seasoned, and even the dry rub wings didn't taste dry. It tasted tender and juicy and I've never experienced that before with dry rub wings. We ordered the lemon pepper buffalo wings, buffalo wings, and Korean bbq buffalo wings and a side of fries. Our favorite was the buffalo wings. It had the right balance of juiciness and flavor. I wouldn't recommend the Korean bbq wings since it didn't have enough tangyness to it and didn't stand out. The French fries are a must order. The fries were so crunchy, and they were still crunchy even towards the end when we were almost finished eating. We arrived 30 minutes before they opened on a Friday and there were already people waiting in the lot which was crazy! It started raining while we were waiting in line and the line got even longer. If you're planning to try The Local, I would recommend coming on a regular weekday or come earlier if you're coming on the weekend because the line is crazy. There is some seating inside and outside the bar. We got there early enough to swipe a table. There were people standing and waiting for a table while waiting for their orders. Service was excellent! Tables are first come first serve. Plenty of parking in the back parking lot. I wouldn't wait in the rain for this but it was definitely worth a try!

We arrived there exactly at 5 PM, when it opens, but there was already a pretty extensive line. A little outside the entrance, they check your ID, which I had no idea was a thing. So make sure you have your IDs with you and are 21+. There's a bar area for drinks and a separate counter where you will order and pay for your food. (They make it pretty explicit that you can't get wings to-go.) Find a seat, and once your food is ready, they'll announce your name, and you pick up your food from the window. FOOD: We got wings in the flavors of lemon pepper (dry rub), sun-dried tomato (dry rub), buffalo lemon pepper (wet), and jerk buffalo (wet). I will say that I definitely preferred the wet wings to the dry wings. I found the dry wings to be a little too salty. In my opinion, the wings and the cook on them were just okay. I wasn't blown away or anything. Maybe the relatively cheap beer and the vibes help draw in all the appeal. TLDR// I don't think I had the greatest wings of all time here, but the vibes were really casual and pleasant. I'm glad I was able to try a place so beloved by locals.

It wasn't busy at all on a Wednesday night. Signs indicate that you should seat yourself wherever available and to head to the counter to make your order. I ordered takeout, so I can't speak about the dine-in experience here. FOOD: We ordered a double order of the wings and asked for their two most popular flavors, which were the lemony pepper wet wings and some other flavor (couldn't hear the worker clearly, but just went with it). The order came with fries and a choice between ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Maybe I am not used to the flavor profile here, but I found the wings to be excessively salty (and I have a preference for salty food). My tongue is still tingling as I write this review. Also, the lemony pepper wings tasted like they were coated in pure citric acid. The other flavor was drowning in sauce. The wings themselves were so dry that it felt like I was eating chicken jerky. SERVICE: Food came out within ten minutes of us ordering. No frills place, so expect no frills service. No complaints. They have a bag-it-yourself policy. TLDR// This might be the first place to actually convince me that overseasoning is actually a thing. Excessively salty, dry chicken wings that my tongue is still paying the price for. Would not come back, and I would try a different spot for lemony pepper wet wings.

The chicken wings were just okay, but the main reason I came was because the place was open so late, making it convenient to try Atlanta's specialties. It was a limited-time experience! Sweet & Sassy Wingz: Their signature flavor. The chicken was over-fried, and the meat was a bit dry. Most importantly, it was coated in a thick layer of sauce, so sweet it was almost too sweet to eat... L. Pepper Wet Wingz: As an Atlanta specialty, this chicken wing was relatively interesting. The initial taste was an intense lemon sourness, almost making you shiver, followed by the warm spicy aroma of black pepper. If the sourness could be toned down, it would be quite good. The chicken wings were still overcooked, and because there was no sauce, the meat was even drier. But I don't know if this is a problem or part of their specialty? Season Friez: Although it was hot, it was already soggy and soft. I consoled myself, "Just grab something quick..." Side Salad: A meatless version of Caesar salad. The bread was so hard I couldn't even stick it in with a fork, but thankfully the lettuce was fairly fresh. Google Maps shows they're open until 3 AM, but they actually don't offer dine-in service after midnight, and the area outside is practically homeless's paradise. Please be careful!
